Charming, traditional Cotswolds pub with great ambience. Service was excellent and food was well presented and very tasty. Overall, an excellent Sunday lunch!

Beautiful quaint little pub just off the High Street. Food was fantastic and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We were very grateful for the flexibility to increase our table size at a last minute so we could accommodate 4 and a pram.

Cosy pub, with pleasant staff but pricey with zero atmosphere, the kitchen closes at 8pm! We were the last to leave and the doors were firmly shut behind us by 9pm, they weren’t even open for a drink. The food was average and expensive. I used to recommend it to my Airbnb guests, but they need to improve a lot for me to do so again. I think they are living on a past reputation. Would not recommend.

Had a wonderful meal here, 4 adults & an infant. Didn't have starters but the mains & sweets were amazing. Two of us had the Wednesday night steak deal - 2 steaks & a bottle of wine - it was great value. Staff were attentive & always helpful. Would highly recommend.

A great find that we stopped off at for lunch on the way to a wedding. Fantastic food, great service and ambience. The fish and chips was superb.

Loved the restaurant, very busy and had a great atmosphere. Couldn’t fault the service. We both had fish & chips which were fine. Being a bit fussy as fish & chips is such a common dish in most pubs/ restaurants. I thought the minted mushy peas were a bit lumpy rather than smooth and were not very warm and the batter although looked crispy had a layer underneath which kept it soft so I felt the fish batter could have been cooked better. Didn’t spoil the evening though. Staff were great and very attentive.
