   Pleasant evening meal with family. Very tasty hot food served. Waiters friendly and helpful. A place we will return to.

   We booked a staff meal on a Friday evening, which was lovely. Food was very pleasant although scallops were a little gritty. Our waitress (whose name escapes me, sorry!) was a pleasure. Polite, cheerful and chatty - brilliant service!

   I booked a table for 730 we didn't order straight away, but service was slow , and it wasn't really very busy. When starter arrived the food was cold. There didn't seem to be many people serving , and we had to wait long periods of time to get some bodies attention.

   The restaurant was very good, open table app allowed me to book a table for 10pm. I called restaurant at 6pm to double check and they had no record of booking and also stopped serving at 10. So I had no reservation. From that point on they did everything they could to still allow us to come even though they were already almost fully booked and.I couldn't.get there til 10pm. The reason I made the booking through the app Nether the less the restaurant sorted it all out. The occasion would not have been the same without there effort. Also there would have been no where to eat so they were very helpful.
