    Food was awful worst Sunday lunch I have ever had. Beef was tough and overcooked, potatoes hard could hardly cut them, given tiny portion of veg for three people. Asked for mint and mustard which never arrived so when we chased it up waitress said you have to go and get it yourself. We said the waitress never told us that to which she replied ‘ I am sure she did as she is an experienced waitress’!! Overpriced for poor quality food. Asked for glass of water and was told you have to go up and get it yourself? Would not recommend

    We ate outside by the river, plenty of shade and great food and service. (Thursday lunchtime- gets busier at weekends) I’ve been here before and it’s currently my favourite local food pub. Winter set lunch menu esp good value

    Tofu roast was the downful. Tofu didn't suit a roast nor was it "gammon" flavour? Tastless and chewy. The veg should have been better seasoned and not with mint. Yorkshire was also burnt! Better off having nut/squash for veg/vegan options

    The perfect way to spend a summer's afternoon enjoying great food, drinks and service in one of the most beautiful riverside pubs in East Anglia (if not the UK). Although the pub was super busy as it was a glorious summer's day, the service was still prompt, efficient and friendly and all options were still available on the menu. The food was all delicious and we will definitely return.

    Sat outside on a warm, busy Sat evening. Pleasant surroundings, bustling. Food was good rather than spectacular and took rather a long time coming. Fish/shellfish items that one of our party particularly wanted had run out, but we weren't told that before ordering, which was a shame. Our young waitress was friendly and charming but unfortunately made three mistakes with our relatively simple order. Overall it was a good experience, but possibly would be better when not quite so busy.

    Excellent choice for Lunch on a Summers day. Prices mean it’s a treat rather than a regular choice. That said, standard of food was again excellent.
