Great family Sunday lunch although some problems with Opentable booking system. That said staff were quick to resolve and food and service more than made up for it. A little pricey once tip included but would definitely return!

Food was nice, but the service was slow and lacked good customer service which is a shame as it’s a really nice pub.

We visited the restaurant for Sunday lunch to meet up with friends in the area, and had the best Sunday roast ever! The beef was pink and tender and was delicious. Service was great and the ambience very relaxing. Will definitely be returning!

It took 40mins from the time we entered to the time we received our food - in an empty restaurant - that's pretty crappy but more so when the meals ordered should have taken no more than 5mins to prepare - poor - esp with hungry children (4&6yrs old) My main was ok as was my wife's but the kids food was garbage and they left most of it - wait staff didn't seem interested and when I said the kids dessert (pancakes) tasted like rubber they suggested they were made in house and are very good.... Hmmm not convinced overall the microwave had a work out to produce our lunches shame as the venue was pretty and well presented - poor serve and poor quality food let it down

A pleasant lunch. The team working here are professional and friendly. We all enjoyed our different lunches. A nice atmosphere, although some tables are slightly too close together. We were conscious of the need not to drown out the next table. We look forward to returning here.

Our local. So lucky to have such a nice one within walking distance. Found the crab on toast overwhelming.. Much too big ! Goats cheese starter was amazing as was the whitebait.

First visit since refurbishment. Had a lovely birthday lunch with hubby. Ambience and service were excellent. Food well cooked and some more unusual items on menu beside the more normal stuff. Had a fixed price lunch menu which looked very reasonable but we ate off the main menu. My only gripe is the price. We had 2 main courses, 1 dessert, 2 wines and 2 coffees which came to £65 - rather a lot to pay for lunch. However, we are going to try them tomorrow for Sunday breakfast.
