   The hostess was absent when we arrived, leaving the station and her cell phone unattended. One of the bartenders could see that. We were seated 5 mins later. Gavin, our server, did not know we are returnees. Servers should be aware of this for each reservation. Our salads came 20 min into service. The gem Caesar was bright, nicely seasoned. The Fennel & Celery was loaded with radicchio. It had dates, but not enough to balance the bitterness of the radicchio. Plating was also a mess -- simply dumped on the plate like a cafeteria. At least make it restaurant-worthy. The kitchen was slow to respond to orders. It took 30 min after the salads for entrées to arrive. The salmon was cooked perfectly -- not dry, but well-seasoned. Too little spinach, though -- not even a spoonful. The mustard butter was too weak to stand up to the sweetness of the salmon seasoning. But when we asked for Dijon, the server brought back more of the same. We had to get Gavin to correct that. The worst dish was the pasta bolognese. We asked for a gluten-free version, and were promised a rotini. This turned out to be a rigatoni, but it was practically raw. Obvious that the cook had neglected to test it or taste it. Flaws like this would not have happened when Americano was under Scott Conant's watch. When we complained to the one who brought the dish, he simply replied that he would let the chef know, but did not bother to tell Gavin, nor take the dish away. We had to flag down Gavin 5 min later to have the kitchen redo the pasta. The manager brought the rigatoni back after another 20 min, and this time, with the help of another chef, it was done properly. The sauce had a rich bolognese flavor. Bravo! We finished with a nice affogato, and a decent carrot cake, and got a bonus of gelato. In all, not a bad service, but the kitchen needs refinement. Two hours for 3 courses is slow....

   We had an amazing experience. The service was great, the food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic and David made it extra special. We will definitely be back.

   We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. We dined there last night for our anniversary and we were not let down.The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating, We were sat right away and our server Gavin came right over to explain the menu and take our drink orders. I can't say enough about Gavin and his service and knowledge and also the other servers. The food was absolutely delicious! This will certainly be one of our staple restaurants in Scottsdale.

   5 star all the way from entering, to service and the food! The food!!! Oh my God! It was incredible! I have never had short ribs so tender and cooked to perfection! The pasta and gnocchi are so fresh, savored every bite! I would recommend the meat balls as an appetizer as well! The focaccia melted in your mouth! The service was incredible as well! This is the spot to celebrate a special occasion, or for a relaxing experience during the week! The Americano has raised the bar in Scottsdale! Your missing out if you have not been!

   Being seated in a private dining room was a lovey surprise for our large group! Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the entrees, and of course the desserts!! Everyone was impressed with the intricate flavors and presentations.

   We went for the Easter Brunch special they had and it was beyond amazing. Everything was delicious, and timed perfectly. Sad that they don’t offer brunch regularly, but we will be back for dinner

    Americano is our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. Chef Peter always has fantastic new creations and Somm Grant knows his wines. Every dish is always an experience. The best atmosphere for drinks at the bar and a beautiful dining room. Music is spot on and the vibe is the best. So grateful to have Americano in N Scott.
