Excellent. First time there we will be back
Outstanding meal and ambience. The ribeye was by far the best steak I have ever had. Hands-down a five-star star restaurant. We will be back again.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service, great food and great people.
Americano does not disappoint! We sat outside in their patio and the setting was lovely. I’ve now had fish and steak here, can’t wait to try the pasta in my next visit. The cocktails are imaginative are so very good!
Absolutely fantastic meal for my husband's birthday. Food, service, atmosphere - all top notch! This was definitely a splurge for us, but definitely a place we'd consider again for a special night.
Service, ambience, food, everything was excellent. Was not rushed. Octopus was superb.
After reading about The Americano in a recent section of the Phoenix Sunday paper and perusing the online menu, a friend and I decided to try it after our European river cruise was cancelled - sort of a treat to soften the blow from the disappointment.
Unfortunately one of the intriguing items on the menu - the caviar fries - were not being offered due to supply chain difficulties. But our awesome waiter made some great recommendations and we ended up having a fabulous dinner which included the burrata salad and the duck ravioli. But the star of the show was a seasonal apple dessert that looked like a giant green Granny Smith apple but was a green candy shell surrounding the most incredible dessert inside. As it is seasonal - go asap to get it!
All of the staff were engaging, friendly and did everything to make the evening enjoyable. This is a return-to spot!
Outstanding all around!
Newer place great vibe not to loud service is perfection, food is really good portions are big so think to share taste , pasta is to die for . Is very nice for a date where you want privacy and comfort . Crowd mix old and young so not like a club you're in Scottsdale so expect the older folks that go out socialize with waiters and younger on dates.
This was our second time at the Americano for Thanksgiving Dinner. We were here in 2020 for Thanksgiving as well and had a phenomenal dinner. This year the dinner was wonderful again, the only thing that was disappointing was they ran out of the pumpkin budino for dessert (I’m pregnant and was craving this)We were really looking forward to this for dessert. Other than that, we were happy with the food and will definitely be back.
We had Thanksgiving lunch here and it was outstanding. Exceeded every expectation. The service was wonderful. Drinks were amazing- Versace on the Beach is a one of a kind drink. Food plentiful. Several of us had the duck which was prepared perfectly. Well worth every penny. This place is a gem.
The experience was top notch from start to finish. Food, drinks, atmosphere and service was terrific.
Visiting Phoenix for Thanksgiving getaway and had to go to Chef Conant’s place. Excellent from cocktails to desert. We both had excellent fresh pasta dishes. We split them to try both. Finished with the olive oil cake that we both devoured. If we lived here, it would be our favorite hangout. Very nice bar and cocktails top notch. Service was also A+.
Everything was great the salt and pepper fritto misto, focaccia ripiena, the pasta, the Mac n cheese but the rib eye was horrible, the seasoning was great though.
Both drinks were great also, Versace and the 3rd monk
Food was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere. Everyone was very nice.
The restaurant was very nice with great ambiance. The service was fabulous also. The issue was the flavor of the steak. We could hardly eat it as it was so “smoked” it actually taste burnt. We did mention this to our waters. We prefer non smoked steaks and we’re not aware that they smoked them. Terrible!!!
Our waiter was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the menu and even threw in a complimentary focaccia bread for our first visit. Espresso martini & smoked old fashioned are a must!
Wonderful menu and food. Beautiful dining area and decor is chic! I had the scallops and they were amazing!
We loved it top to bottom. The drinks were really unique the food was outstanding! Definitely will be back.
We started with the focaccia and the salt & pepper Fritto Misto, both excellent! The Bolognese is fantastic! 2 of us had the Pasta Pomodoro. As tasty as it was, it did not come with a protein. When we tasted the bolognese, we wished we ordered ther instead. But the Pomodoro is a great dish for those who don’t want the meat. Another got the chicken, but unfortunately she did not like it. We all tasted it and it was quite bland, even though it comes in a broth. Wouldn’t order that again.
Ask to sit in Giovanni’s section… he was the best server- so friendly and knowledgeable about the wine, the food, everything!
Awesome experience! Service was impeccable, food was fantastic, cocktails were fabulous! Wonderful experience and worth every penny!
The front were a bit sticklers about the reservation time, our reservation was at 5:15 and my friend got there a few minutes early and they wouldn’t sit her until exactly 5:15. Kind of weird.
Our waiter wasn’t as attentive as we would have liked. After we got our appetizers he disappeared for a long time and we had to flag him down so we could order our dinner.
The dinner was really great we both got pasta and it was great !
The dessert was above and beyond delicious!
It was so wonderful. Nick the Sommelier was so knowledgeable and fun. We had a great server in Taylor. So good. Cannot wait to come back and we live in Canada. Coming back in January👍
We just wish the menu had more choices.
Outstanding vibe, food, and service!
We loved everything about our dinner and will definitely go back again. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
Service was impeccable - Grant!
We really wanted to love this restaurant as we've heard so much about it. We went with another couple super early because they have kids. The first issue was that they probably sat us at the worst table in the entire restaurant. I've never understood that with early reservations.
Second is that it took over 3 hours to get an appetizer and an entree. The server was great and tried her best but everything was so slow. I had to ask for my glass of wine three times. The bottle I ordered was out of stock so they replaced it with something comparable. When the food did come, they brought out some complementary items because it took so long. What is strange was that the restaurant wasn't even full.
All good, we are super easy going and we took it in stride. But then we got the bill. We asked that the bill be split and we both received $250 bills. So with tip, this meal of 4 appetizers, 4 pasta dishes and a $89 bottle of wine, plus 1 cocktail and some diet cokes, was over $600.
We were shocked. I looked at the bill and it "seemed" right but when we got to the car my wife said there is no way in hell that meal cost more than Bourbon Steak last night for four people. We added up the bill and it should have been $320.
Decided to go in and ask about it. They said they made a mistake and refunded us $130 on the $600 bill. That wasn't even close to making it right but we were tired after being there for close to four hours and had other places to be. They didn't discount the tip at all. They still overcharged us close to $100 in total. It is what it is but we won't be back. Which is too bad because my wife who is a big influencer on Instagram really loved it and wanted to post about it and give it some good reviews.
Exceeded all expectations. We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was perfect. It’s a perfect place for a date night or a girls night out. Food was phenomenal and our server Giovanni was great! Will definitely be back
From salad to dessert the food was awesome. Absolutely loved it! Service was great too.
Don’t waste your time .. period over priced had better steak and service at Chili’s
Americano continues to amaze us! We always feel so welcome. Every guest that we have brought along with us is so impressed. Each and every member of the staff is so professional and friendly. Standouts this visit include Channel (as always), Holly and Stephano. And the food is always superb!
As always exceptional food service and ambiance
Loved the 2 new salads. Still waiting for a few new pasta dishes and would love an osibucco New dessert options we’re great
service was sub par. food has slipped. wine service was sub par. overall disappointing
Great time at the Americano. Surprised to see Scott Conant in the house!! Started w split salads, and 4 different entrees for our group : chicken (super yum w the chimi churri sauce), salmon and 2 diff steaks (horse radish cream and the truffle Jus, both to die for). Great wines; had a 6 yr old Borolo that was very smooth, with big flavor! Finished w Bundino and a house offered mini chocolate cherry truffle cake - wow! It’s way more than a meal; it’s a dining adventure.
Great service. Everyone was friendly, especially our server.
Food is delicious and slightly smaller in portion size but it’s a restaurant that you can tell is focused on the presentation and flavor over size of the dish.
The ambience of the restaurant and the entire experience was worth it in my opinion.
I will be back!
The atmosphere and decor was
