Dear Valued Customers,

The Ambassador Training Restaurant is a TAFE NSW-licensed venue.

Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment.

As we are a licenced venue, BYO is not permitted. All dietary requirements must be advised in advance through your OpenTable platform booking. Meals will be served alternate drop, meaning you will not have a choice from the menu and will have limited facility for alterations.

Payments will be made after your meal (special functions excepted); we do not accept cash or split bills.

We only take reservations via OpenTable. For larger bookings of 7 people or more, please email ambassador.reservations@tafensw.edu.au

It was a fantastic Degustation Menu...served very well. First time we have been to TAFE for a number of years and in previous days there was a free flow of Alcohol or you paid. Last week we sort of expected the same only to be told there was no licence to serve Alcohol. My suggestion is that when the Menu is issued there is a note attached that there o-is no Alcoholic Beverages. But as always the food was great and excellent value for money.

The food prepared by the TAFE students was outstanding, as was the service. They are to be congratulated. We would have liked to have been able to buy a glass of wine to accompany the delicious food.

Always lovely to dine in the Ambassador Restaurant. Food was excellent as usual. Surprised we were not allowed to buy alcohol-surely an essential part of restaurant service and a desperately needed income source for TAFE. Service students poorly trained-delightful people but very low level of basic hospitality techniques displayed.

Other meals at this restaurant have been very good. We will not attend on the last night of the series of dinners again as the food was inferior and some ingredients, as well as some drinks, were missing!

The Ambassador Restaurant is such great value. The food is beautifully prepared and menus are well thought out. The service is excellent and the trainees are all so professional albeit a bit nervous and green. I would highly recommend this experience

The ambassador is a great venue which we have visited on a number of times despite having a bit of a drive to get there. We have had great experiences there and will certainly return when convenient, despite the fact that we cannot get alcohol at lunch, though we understand the reasons

We had wanted to attend The Ambassador for some time. We were not disappointed. Cordon Blu Standards at a fraction of the cost. Our only niggle was that it was hard to find when we walked from the Blaxland Road entrance. So signposting could have been better when customers walk from that side.
