We believe that wine should represent the place from which it was grown and the four seasons that pass through that place in a given year. We showcase vignerons who grow their fruit in a thoughtful way and who guide that fruit to bottle with the gentlest hand possible.

We also serve a seasonal selection of small plates to enjoy with a glass (or two) of wine with cheese and dessert to finish with, as well as classic cocktails, rotating tap beers and a large selection of canned and bottled beer.

The front bar has a few private tables as well as shared bar seating, great for enjoying the atmosphere. The courtyard is great on a sunny day and has heaters for the cold ones, and the cabin is home to a roaring fireplace for when it gets really chilly.

Whilst reservations are recommended because we fill up quickly, we always keep a few tables aside for walk-ins.

    We're very excited to announce the return of our Cabin Conversations event series. A casual, intimate tasting with a winemaker, all taking place next to the fire in our very own Cabin room. Our second guest is the immensely amiable Brad Hickey of Brash Higgins. Hailing from McLaren Vale, Brash Higgins produce minimal intervention wines, drawing on both natural and traditional techniques. In their own words: 'We seek to capture the essence of McLaren Vale’s sun and soil, the elusive characters of the fruit, and the whims of our own restless muse.' We'll be tasting a selection of wines chosen by Brad, alongside some snacks from The Alps menu. The event will run from 6.30pm - 8pm. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.

    Perfect place for a lazy Sunday afternoon wine + cheese + conversations. Staff are knowledgeable, relaxed, friendly and always seem to be there when you need them. The location is quiet and sophisticated but also like going to a friend's place - who has done some really nice little renovations. Would recommend for almost any occasion as long as it's under 4 people.
