We believe that wine should represent the place from which it was grown and the four seasons that pass through that place in a given year. We showcase vignerons who grow their fruit in a thoughtful way and who guide that fruit to bottle with the gentlest hand possible.

The Alps is your rifugio on Commercial Rd. Drop in for a wine, stay for pizza. We are open and pouring/cooking 7 days a week. Our style of pizza is inspired by pizza Romana. Thin crust, thoughtful and delicious toppings. The perfect partner to a delicious bottle of wine.

The front bar has a few private tables as well as shared bar seating, great for enjoying the atmosphere. The courtyard is great on a sunny day and has heaters for the cold ones, and the cabin is home to a roaring fireplace for when it gets really chilly.

Whilst reservations are recommended because we fill up quickly, we always keep a few tables aside for walk-ins.

    Great venue, love the renovation. It was hard to hear each other in the back room with all the tables full - so maybe not great for that. One menu order was very slow but food was delicious. Would again, but maybe at a more quiet time of the day or with people I don’t need to talk to as much!

    Impeccable service - kind, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Food was delicious and the wine was absolutely incredible - plenty of variety! Looking forward to returning soon.

    This place is amazing. The most friendly hosts I’ve ever come across. The power went out across the entire suburb and we were the only 2 patrons out in the courtyard - they took such good care of us. Friendly, knowledgeable, amazing food and an unmatched atmosphere. Thanks for the experience!
