   Unfortunately we must have caught the restaurant on a bad night. A noisy hen party seemed to be taking everyone’s attention. One meal did not arrive until three people had almost finished because the waitress hadn’t ordered it. We had to ask for it. There was no apology about their mistake. We were expecting tasty food but the pizza was a bit bland and the curry underwhelming. What a shame.

   Would definitely return back lovely good lovely staff and it’s very hard to find some where nice that’s vegan and this place hits the spot.

   I can highly recommend this place. Wide choice of vegan food. No meat substitutes but all naturally sourced ingredients. For instance I had a fennel bhaji burger which was amazing. The chips were a cross between wedges and roast potatoes in texture and well seasoned. My sister ordered the almond pad Thai with pak choi and buckwheat noodles which was very tasty. Can recommend the trio of desserts with vegan cream which was enough for 2 to share. Wonderful little venue. Would recommend booking in advance as it gets busy. Will definitely return.

   Nice decor, friendly waiter, good ambience. Restaurant was half full at 1pm on a Fri which was a good sign. Had the afternoon tea with soft drink and a glass of prosecco for £18.50. Delicious, crispy cauliflower wings. Gooey, chewy brownies. Warm tasty scones with cream and jam and the most devine red velvet cake I have ever had. Everything was delicious but the sandwiches didn’t feel fresh. They weren't made on the day. On the whole, very tasty and well-presented food. Exceptional value for money. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

   The Allotment Vegan has been on my to visit list for a long time. We booked for 30 minutes after opening. Upon arrival nobody was in the restaurant. We waited around, just under 10 minutes before someone came into the restaurant to seat us. We ordered 5 of the tapas dishes. We were unable to finish the bao buns because they were hard at the bottom edge. The other dishes were very salty and lacked overall taste (except salt). Once the staff were in the restaurant the service was great and the waiter handled a busy lunch time rush really well alone. Overall disappointed with the food quality & taste.

   The experience was made a little poorer by the kitchen having technical problems so had to wait 30 mins before food could be provided . Didn’t think the staff were very attentive to our needs for service . No water provided and we had to try hard to gain waiter attention . Food was good once it arrived

    It was a great experience, the food was delicious with lots to select from. I wish I had been less full otherwise I would have ordered a dessert. I will definitely come back again!
