Downstairs cafe was a great place to meet up for a business meeting and grab coffee. Could have a private conversation. Wait staff didn’t rush you along, but appeared timely with the check when you were ready to depart.
Love the Allis! Cool, beautiful setting, great service, unpretentious, and really good breakfast menu.
Went for breakfast with my husband to kick off our anniversary. Great experience, ambiance and wonderful staff. Highly recommend. Menu has items appealing to all.
Excellent food and ambiance. Unfortunately, service was quite poor
Wonderful afternoon tea in a cozy trendy setting
Our server, Matt, was excellent - friendly, attentive, good recommendations. Overall the service was great. They were very flexible when we needed to adjust the size of our reservation before a casual happy hour/dinner and on the day.
Wine was great; food pretty good but not outstanding.
Very nice design and environment! Staff is friendly and nice. Food are nice, especially the beef.
Service was not that good that Sunday. Our waiter did not do a good job...late, absent, not reliable...
It’s beautiful restaurant with small menu but delicious menu and their service is impeccable!
I wish they did less cake and more food in their afternoon tea! Too much cake for one person and only two tiny finger sandwiches!
Girlfriends celebrating the thanksgiving holiday with lunch and pedicures after we’re disappointed the food available was either breakfast or high team at 3pm on a Friday.
Our poor server was only a day on the job and the bar seemed perplexed by our drink order: Cabernet doesn’t sound like Chardonnay, veuve cliquot should not be flat, and Pinot noir should not be Pinot Grigio. Usually love this place but this time it was off its game. And for $167 for 3 so Without tip— that is a shame.
It was on Thanksgiving. I thought I was booking Thanksgiving dinner but after arriving I found out that it didn’t start till 2 o’clock and our reservation was at 12 noon. But Erika the manager of the bar was super awesome she comped our whole brrunch because we were disappointed it wasn’t Thanksgiving dinner everything was amazing she gave us free champagne and they couldn’t of been nicer I will definitely go there again.. And the food was delicious
It was my girlfriends birthday. The afternoon tea was a memorable service to experience on a special day like this.
Thank you for the ice cream with a candle at the end for that special touch for us.
Very cool space, excellent breakfast menu, and outstanding, friendly service.
Had some friends out of town over the weekend. Took them to Allis for a nice brunch. We got the smoke salmon tower and avocado toast. All amazing. Love the decoration.
The Allis is definitely in a prime location & everyone wants to have some involvement with SoHo house, however the service for non members (assuming it's better for members upstairs) is lacking. Our waitress was very hard to flag down. The food, however, is delicious. Strongly recommend the Baked Eggs, as those are flavorful and the sourdough bread compliments it well.
We went on a wednesday and it was not busy. Everything was great and staff were very nice. High quality food and drinks. Ambience is superb. Will come back again.
We enjoyed our visit. The food was good and we couldn't even finish. I did have some thoughts, however. The sandwiches were good, but the fillings were too thin. With so many sweets, I felt I needed more protein! My other idea was that the sweets needed more variety, as so many items were lemon -- lemon poppyseed tea bread, lemon tarts, and tart frosting, and lemony cream puff filling. The gingerbread macarons were a pleasant change, along with the lovely chocolate cake.
Me and a girlfriend celebrated our birthdays here and the staff was accomodating and friendly. The food was outstanding. Prices were not bad for the lunch special given the ambiance. It is a beautiful space.
A better than average hotel restaurant.
Like what they've done to this space! more attractive now than the first floor lobby, the bar looks like a good place for dining solo. Steak Frites was a great value. Service was good but then server disappeared and we had to wave the one other server down for more wine, then water, then dessert menu and even the check. Kind of a bummer when trying to relax.
Mom and daughter spa day
This is one of my favorite spots in the city. It's perfect to meet for delicious food, good conversation, great atmosphere, and excellent service. What more could you ask for????
The lights were dimmed quite early, leaving us sitting in almost darkness while drinking tea. I think it was a little too early to lower the lights by that much. Nevertheless, the afternoon tea and desserts were amazing!
. Great value, perfect for a weekday dinner with a friend.
Love the atmosphere at the Allie. Such a cool space with a great variety of seating options for dining and/or drinks. I’ll definitely be back :)
I usually love this place, but the last two experiences have been really subpar. Eggs were overcooked, and breakfast took forever. Server was not sympathetic to our poor experience.
Ambiance and customer base were great, food was good, drinks were a tad on the expensive side relative to the quality but overall, a great Friday night date spot.
Great service - friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to.
Great ambiance delectable treats but service was very poor.
Great ambiance and service. Food was nothing to write home about, but it was fine.
Great overall! I’m definitely a regular here and recommend it to everyone
Just a very cool vibe with great food and drinks. Like the afternoon tea option too.
The food was good and the ambience was good. Although the chairs were very short and uncomfortable.
The service was not what was to be expected. Very poor communicator, and poor attention to customers.
Gorgeous place, the food itself is a little underwhelming and the menu is pretty small, but the service and atmosphere more than make up for it
Eggs were wrong, then cold. Pastries came last. Never got a warmer on coffee. Drinks took forever.
Relaxing, ambient place to eat. We only had breakfast. It was fine but nothing special. The eggs Benedict were a bit sloppy—over-sauced, too thick of a sauce, and eggs were over cooked. But the overall value was still good, especially for Soho House. In some cities, you can’t even enter unless you are a high-paying member.
The server forgot to put in 2 items in our order
Our waitress tried....venue is busy/chic...I was not impressed...
