   Food: superb. Roasted mushrooms, lamb larb and the best wedge salad we've ever had were unique, imaginative, beautifully prepared and served. The coffee panna cotta was an amazing dessert. We appreciated the low noise level, too. The Alden was busy the night we were there, but you could still have a conversation without shouting. A great restaurant for a special occasion.

   Went for birthday dinner and had a delicious duck dish, salad, and salmon! My husband’s steak was a little chewy (despite appearing to be cooked medium) but everything else was delicious! Service was top notch. Didn’t love the closeness of the tables but personal preference. Cocktail and mocktails were delicious. Was hoping for a small birthday dessert but not a big deal. Overall, very good!

   Every dish is so unique and excellently seasoned with Asian herbs and spices. The wine list is really good and reasonably priced. The spring menu is fresh and and innovative. We are looking forward to lunch now that they are open on Thursday and Fridays

   We had a wonderful experience at the Alden! The 5 course tasting menu (with wine pairings) was exquisite. It compares with the very best we have had at fine restaurants across the world. The service was excellent. Servers did a great job of describing the dishes and wines.

   Our entire experience was very disappointing. For a Michelin acknowledged restaurant the food was not that exceptional. It feels that they are more concerned with putting on a show than delivering high quality service or food, especially for the price. Our waters were never refilled, we had to ask twice to order wine with dinner, 3 of the 4 guests in our party received their food and we had to wait almost 10 minutes for the 4th persons food to arrive. That coupled with the ridiculous policy of giving a lengthy description of the food after its been delivered made all of our entrees cold to eat. There was literally nothing redeeming about the entire experience. I would avoid at all costs and spend my money elsewhere.
