The chorizo dates were delicious! Highly recommend. The cocktail menu was small, but they do offer a full bar. The steaks were delicious, but salty. I like salt so It didn’t bother me, but my boyfriend felt like it was too much. Waitress was kind and accommodating.

The Alcove is the best restaurant we frequent in our area. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is excellent. Love love love the Alcove!!

My wife and I came back to our favorite niche, this is a absolute amazing place for food and services, we both had a wonderful time.. we live in Grove city, so it’s over 1hr 20min drive.. beautiful country and great food.. Don’t forget the dessert, it’s wonderful!!

My wife and I went to The Alcove last night for her birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Sat in the bar - great atmosphere and ambience. We prefer sitting in the bar. Good drinks, attentive service, delicious food and the perfect evening. She recommends the salmon Oscar (if you like salmon) and my pork chop entree which was cooked to perfection.

The shrimp scampi was loaded with wine and didn’t taste like a butter garlic sauce as expected. We ordered the ribeye med/well it came out med/rare I sent back and it came back too rare still but server didn’t check back. Was charged extra for Cesar salad but wasn’t noted on menu. Will not be back.

Elegant yet casual. The servers are highly trained professionals. The food is perfection , relaxing atmosphere. It’s an experience not just a meal. The decor is timeless. Worth every penny

Very nice experience in a small Ohio "city". They are gracious and care to meet your needs. Food selections were "fine Dining" and varied. The degrees of doneness were excellent. I found a number of items a bit salty and the "Bearnaise" stabilized. Beer and Wine selections were very nice according to our palate, a very drinkable cabernet sauvignon "Textbook". The decor was quality and relaxing and it was such a pleasure to be able to hold a quiet conversation between us without overbearing music and fellow diners sitting too close. This benefit was very different from too many of today's overly noisy and a heavy background beat designed to turn tables. We could relax and enjoy!

the food was excellent, the waitstaff was attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing. We did overhear a business conversation on the other side of the room that was in line with our table, but it was easy to tune out. We also heard the Lion King music playing for a child near us which drowned out the ambiance music from above, but it wasn't annoying. Loved the whole experience.
