It’s a very pretty restaurant and the service and food were both very good! Our only complaint was that the music was loud and it seemed to be aimed at a young crowd-which was odd considering that the food is expensive. I’m just not sure who they are trying to attract.
Birthday. This place is such a vibe great dj great drinks. Brunch prices reasonable! I go here at least 3-4 times a week.
Overall great experience and service. Will recommend to all
The food and service is outstanding but bring your earplugs!
Excellent service and good!
I arrived to The Ainsworth with my party of 4 for a get together and to also celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. Moderate sound with music playing and a few other guests, not loud by any means. Our waitress was lovely and very accommodating. The menu options were not exciting at all. We ordered Korean spiced wings, macaroni and cheese, flatbread pizza and spinach and artichoke dip to start. The wings tasted subpar, not sure if it was old meat or just not seasoned well but the meat itself was not tasty at all. The sauce was good. The mac and cheese was good. The flatbread pizza was thicker than expected and kind of dry. The spinach and artichoke dip was good. We then ordered entree’s - Caesar salad, burger, baked chicken. Again the chicken did not taste good. It was lacking in flavor and overall tasted off. There was also an odd smell that immediately turned me off. We raised this to our waitress’s attention and she removed it from our bill. Caesar salad was good. Burger was good. We also ordered two cocktails - one mule and one la flor. The mule was sweet almost too syrupy and the tequila drink was very tangy. The ambiance did not make up for the subpar food - would not recommend and will not be back unfortunately.
It’s got so much energy.
DJ kills it!
The place is beautiful.
The food looks great.
Our waiter didn’t have energy.
The place is loud.
The food doesn’t taste great.
They don’t have iced tea.
And our table was wet.
I love a clean table.
I don’t love a wet table.
The wings are supposed to be their thing.
Hooters - I lick my fingers. BWW- those are pretty good.
The Ainsworth should not say wings are their thing. They’re not.
This is the perfect for:
-a group of girlfriends that drink & don’t eat
-couples who drink & don’t speak to each other
-anyone who misses the LIRR & wants to feel like they’re in what the city used to be
Couldn’t wait to try it and was not disappointed
We wanted to try a new restaurant today and was pleasantly surprised. The place is spotless, service was on point and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
What a great night out with friends! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was exceptional! Can't wait to go back.
Great music and foods. Awesome DJ. Nice employees.
I was hoping the food would live up to the reputation.. the burrata dish with squash and big hazelnuts was an odd pairing, and the short rib had no flavor - beyond bland. We were shocked. Nice place, nice staff, and decent atmosphere ..food needs work and turn the music down.
It was great u always love going to Ainsworth
Way, way overpriced, music for a Tuesday and crowd size ridiculously loud. My husband chicken was tasty but my salad was pretty much pathetic. The ratio of “frizzled “ onions was more then the lettuce and everything else. I think I had three grape tomatoes and two cucumber slices on the whole salad. Hey it’s just not for us, I don’t ever see the need to eat gold dipped wings. Service and staff were friendly no problems with that. Don’t see us going back or recommending it to anyone though.
My wife’s burger came out raw and fries were cold. Also my chicken was cold but was hungry so just ate it.Disappointed because nice looking restaurant
Beautiful inside, food was great. The music was a little too loud to carry on conversation casually tho.
Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow for drink refills and plate clearing
Only 1 waitress on for the whole dining room.
Great food and service
Great food greae service... Will return!!!!!!!!!!!
Server Wendy amazing and manager very attentive. Resturant a Must
Was ok. Not very impressed. Decent average experience and food. Service was good.
The tuna tartar tacos are outstanding. Definitely try the white sangria also!
Great food but very loud.
Had a very good dinner here the other night. The service was excellent as the server was informative and attentive. The Chicken wings are a worthy appetizer. The short braised rib was excellent. Meat so tender it fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. I could eat that every day. And finished the evening with a slice of rainbow cake. Stuffed. But worth it.
Cook levels on steaks are on the low side (M=MR)
Sides are not outstanding
Service - was ok although I would expect more from a $$$$ place
Over all nice place but on the pricey side
Nice for Business outing
Staff was lacking but everything else was amazing!
The brunch setting is very fun and lively with a DJ.
Overall experience was excellent. Loved the ambiance, staff could not have been nicer. Our server, Peter, was excellent, friendly and attentive. The front of the house stopped by our table to apologize for the bit of wait we had with complimentary glasses of Prosecco. Thank you. I wish I caught his name. Food was out of this world delicious and beautiful presentation. Our cocktails were equally gorgeous and delicious.
We will be back.
Beautiful place, everyone enjoyed the apps and their meals. Beer menu was a bit limited but decent wine list. More in the pricey side but food was excellent. Staff was very friendly too.
I was really excited to dine here because of all the delectable photos and Instagram hype. Hell, even the reviews, told me okay this is the place to brunch. I have to say I was really disappointed. The food is really mediocre and the food has no flavor, its bland. Eggs... okay I get it, a little black pepper and salt can go a long way, but the entire brunch entree? That's bizarre and their brunch menu has a lot of options and its very extensive. For our party, we ordered the spinach & artichoke dip for the appetizer along with the buffalo wings, the entrees we ordered we: The Ainsworth Breakfast, The Ainsworth Burger and The Chicken & Waffle. Just to get the chicken & waffle dish out the way, the waffle is not your average brunch waffle. It was thin, thinner than a crepe with three pieces of tiny chicken on top. Need I say the chicken need flavor too? The waffle is usually the go to brunch option, thick in size and flavor full. Eggos waffles are much thicker! The spinach & artichoke dip was not flavorful AT ALL although I have to say the salsa was pretty good. The Ainsworth Breakfast was a disappointment both in flavor and portion. Its not what the description made you think it would be a big portion it was tiny, a little dish in a skillet. The description was misleading to a T. The "breakfast potatoes" looked like cut up portions of steak fries. The only flavor in this dish was the cheese blend. Finally for the Ainsworth Burger, it was just sad. It was flat, not appealing like the photos online. My goddaughter took one bite and said it wasn't what she expected. It didn't look dressy, no lettuce, m&c or tomato. Just a overtly seeded bun with a burger surrounded by two slices of cheese.
The ambiance is really pretty! Our server recommended the short rib empanadas which were really tasty! I also had the birthday pancakes which were super sweet and indulgent but very yummy! My friend and I had the bottomless mimosas. I enjoyed my time here.
The experience here was great! Our service and the food was delightful! I will definitely recommend this place for a birthday gathering, a quick friend reuniting anything!
Thank you Desiree!
Our service made our experience, THAT much better.
The food came out at a decent time, drinks were always flowing (and strong), and the ambiance was lively.
We’ll be back!
Dinner menu was pretty limited. Food was very good. Mostly burgers and meat choices so definitely for meat Lovers. Music was a little loud… could barely hear the person across from me. Service was good and our waitress was very nice.
My first time here and it was worth every penny and I'll be back soon. Everything was on point.
Fathers Day dinner from the server to the food runner all was exceptional. The RVC Burger, Zucchini chips and empanadas were excellent, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The La Flor drink was not worth it as it just didn’t taste good which was disappointing. The interior was comfortable and appealing to the eye yet the big downside … the music way too loud we had to really raise our voices to have A conversation at the table. There’s one word for the music choice which was Techno, throughout the restraurant…. WHY?
Great service food was okay.
Overall nice space, but way too loud and the food was mwsioxe
Beautiful decor. Very warm and inviting. Food plates are to fall in love with. Nice portions with sophisticated plating.
A little pricey for burgers but they were good. Service was great!!!
