Tuna Tartare Tacos
Avocado and chives, topped with toasted sesame seeds and spicy mayo in a crispy wanton shell
The service and the food was excellent. The drinks were awesome. My friends and I had a wonderful time. The only thing we had an issue was that it was a bit too dark where we were seated. Overall a fun and delicious place to go for a small get together with old friends.
Ambiance was good but music was too loud for conversation. Waitress was friendly but wait for appetizers & food was 1hr plus! Not worth the time for mediocre food
Waitress Sarah was the best ever!! Kind professional and new what we would like and recommend. She made the experience!! Food and ambience was too notch. Def coming for Brunch. Thank you Sarah for being awesome!
The location is very trendy. A DJ played music for brunch. The food was great! The people were very nice.
I’m going back with my home girls for some more fun and drinks.
Thank you to our waitress Sarah who was such a joy and made our first experience memorable. You’re the best.
Went for our anniversary dinner. From the moment we walked in, the experience was fantastic. Friendly staff. Very attentive. The food was AMAZING. We had the burrata and zucchini chips to start. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the short ribs. Words can’t describe how good the food was. The waitress recommended a drink that was not on the drink menu and I’m glad we went with it. So good and refreshing. We will definitely be going back.
We did not stay to eat. The music which was club music was way too loud. It would have been impossible to carry on a conversation. Very disappointing.
The restaurant was an absolute delight. It’s definitely one of my now favorite restaurants. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection (I’m very picky when it comes to steak), it also melted in your mouth. The sides were also phenomenal. We cleared all the plates and dishes, there was nothing to wrap to take home. Definitely worth it every single week penny. The steak was also really well priced for the quality and quantity of it. If this place isn’t on your bucket list, put it on it!
Great food, nice place and parking was relatively easy to find across the street.
We decided to sit at the bar before our reservation and because Kevin was so friendly we sat at the bar for dinner. His Espresso martini is the best! Our food was great (NY strip was so good) and we would definitely be back.
Had a great meal tonight at the Ainsworth. Started with tuna tacos, delicious! I had the brick chicken, really crispy skin snd chicken was seasoned well really, I loved it!
My husband had a burger and crispy fries. He loved that too!
Service was excellent. We will absolute going back!
My new favorite place ! Great food, great vibe. I really enjoyed myself.
Decided to try a new place for Brunch. Ok so the minute we walked in I realized it was the old Parlay, and I should have left because I was never a fan. We stayed to give it a chance. Seems to be the same cook, who uses no salt and keeps things really inexpensive and boring. Food is not high quality. The servers seem to be very confused , and no one came over for a good 15 minutes. Not a huge deal, I get it, it gets busy. The worst and the part that flat out made me hate this place is how loud it is. You CAN indeed foster that hype with good music at a lower volume. It seemed unnecessary. We didn't even talk the whole time because you couldn't hear across the table anyways. This is like a day club that serves food... some of which was clearly frozen (French toast sticks) because they weren't "room temperature" as explained... they were freezing cold. Even 23 year old me would've hated this place. This place should advertise as what is is... a day party, and save families and adults from the torture.
Our dinner was delicious and the portions were large. The service was excellent and the owner or manager came over to speak with us and offered us a complimentary limoncello shot at the end of our meal. Drinks and food items were a bit on the expensive side, but the quantity and quality justified the cost. Dinner for 2 with 4 drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 dessert cost $200 without tip. All in all I would go back.
Great ambiance, wished the lights behind my table was working lol
Food was great and our server Tracey was simply amazing! Will definitely be back! Had visitors from out of town who also enjoyed the food.
Brunch was fantastic we enjoyed everything! Would definitely go back!
I really like the food and service has been good both times I’ve visited. The breakfast board is really good but the price did increase from $25 to $38 since June.
Love it here! Food is delicious and service is great.
It’s a very pretty restaurant and the service and food were both very good! Our only complaint was that the music was loud and it seemed to be aimed at a young crowd-which was odd considering that the food is expensive. I’m just not sure who they are trying to attract.
Birthday. This place is such a vibe great dj great drinks. Brunch prices reasonable! I go here at least 3-4 times a week.
Overall great experience and service. Will recommend to all
The food and service is outstanding but bring your earplugs!
Excellent service and good!
I arrived to The Ainsworth with my party of 4 for a get together and to also celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. Moderate sound with music playing and a few other guests, not loud by any means. Our waitress was lovely and very accommodating. The menu options were not exciting at all. We ordered Korean spiced wings, macaroni and cheese, flatbread pizza and spinach and artichoke dip to start. The wings tasted subpar, not sure if it was old meat or just not seasoned well but the meat itself was not tasty at all. The sauce was good. The mac and cheese was good. The flatbread pizza was thicker than expected and kind of dry. The spinach and artichoke dip was good. We then ordered entree’s - Caesar salad, burger, baked chicken. Again the chicken did not taste good. It was lacking in flavor and overall tasted off. There was also an odd smell that immediately turned me off. We raised this to our waitress’s attention and she removed it from our bill. Caesar salad was good. Burger was good. We also ordered two cocktails - one mule and one la flor. The mule was sweet almost too syrupy and the tequila drink was very tangy. The ambiance did not make up for the subpar food - would not recommend and will not be back unfortunately.
It’s got so much energy.
DJ kills it!
The place is beautiful.
The food looks great.
Our waiter didn’t have energy.
The place is loud.
The food doesn’t taste great.
They don’t have iced tea.
And our table was wet.
I love a clean table.
I don’t love a wet table.
The wings are supposed to be their thing.
Hooters - I lick my fingers. BWW- those are pretty good.
The Ainsworth should not say wings are their thing. They’re not.
This is the perfect for:
-a group of girlfriends that drink & don’t eat
-couples who drink & don’t speak to each other
-anyone who misses the LIRR & wants to feel like they’re in what the city used to be
Couldn’t wait to try it and was not disappointed
We wanted to try a new restaurant today and was pleasantly surprised. The place is spotless, service was on point and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
What a great night out with friends! The food and drinks were delicious and the service was exceptional! Can't wait to go back.
Great music and foods. Awesome DJ. Nice employees.
I was hoping the food would live up to the reputation.. the burrata dish with squash and big hazelnuts was an odd pairing, and the short rib had no flavor - beyond bland. We were shocked. Nice place, nice staff, and decent atmosphere ..food needs work and turn the music down.
It was great u always love going to Ainsworth
Way, way overpriced, music for a Tuesday and crowd size ridiculously loud. My husband chicken was tasty but my salad was pretty much pathetic. The ratio of “frizzled “ onions was more then the lettuce and everything else. I think I had three grape tomatoes and two cucumber slices on the whole salad. Hey it’s just not for us, I don’t ever see the need to eat gold dipped wings. Service and staff were friendly no problems with that. Don’t see us going back or recommending it to anyone though.
My wife’s burger came out raw and fries were cold. Also my chicken was cold but was hungry so just ate it.Disappointed because nice looking restaurant
Beautiful inside, food was great. The music was a little too loud to carry on conversation casually tho.
Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow for drink refills and plate clearing
Only 1 waitress on for the whole dining room.
Great food and service
Great food greae service... Will return!!!!!!!!!!!
Server Wendy amazing and manager very attentive. Resturant a Must
Was ok. Not very impressed. Decent average experience and food. Service was good.
The tuna tartar tacos are outstanding. Definitely try the white sangria also!
Great food but very loud.
