   Buffet only. Food was mediocre, dry, and cold. Very expensive for mediocre food. Have dined here 4-5 times now, worst experience to date.

   Idk, I grew up getting to stay at the Ahwahnee and dine there fairly regularly (ie- a few times per year) and the venue is always lovely, the staff always fantastic. The buffet, for what it is (a buffet), was quite expensive and just registered as “ok” to me (so good for a buffet with some great prime rib, but I’m not a fan of buffets so to me, the value didn’t go in-hand with the cost). Again- go for the ambiance and a special dining experience with exemplary staff, but until they move back from buffet service to regular dining I’ll probably wait to come back. It’s a special place so DO go and enjoy it if you have the chance!

   Food was cold, server was lovely though. Most of the good was gone by the time we got there and not a great selection especially for the price

   VERY disappointing. We paid nearly $200 for a two glasses of wine and a mediocre, barely lukewarm buffet meal with limp boring salads. We were expecting more from this fine old hotel. Our servers were good, although not much service was required for a buffet. We learned that the kitchen wa sunder renovation (and had been for 2years) , hence the buffet,. We would not have gone if we’d known that in advance.

   Buffet only for the time being until they finish refurbishing the kitchen. Surprisingly good food. Great experience. Will be back.

   The hotel restaurant is in the middle of renovations so we only had an option of a buffet. However, the buffet was very delicious and had wonderful options. The dining room was stunning.

   The restaurant is historic, the grounds are beautiful, and the service was excellent. The food was mediocre. Dinner is an expensive buffet instead of a prepared to order meal. My salmon was hard on the outside and dry on the inside, the asparagus and cauliflower were overcooked, the Caesar salad had no flavor to the dressing, and the quinoa was bland. The mac and cheese was very cheesy and the polenta was very good. The desserts were hit and miss. The brownies and lemon curd phyllo cups were excellent, the lemon bars were only ok. The mini-cheese cakes weren't very good and the crust felt like it was just sand at the bottom of the muffin wrapper, rather than an actual crust. There were lots of options for meat-eaters, including a carving station, chicken, pork, and shrimp. I know lots of people like those things, but for vegetarians who won't eat those things, the price is way too high to not receive the same value as the non-vegetarians. Frankly, the food at the Yosemite Valley Lodge Mountain Room was much better tasting and a much better value.

   Over priced buffet for very few selections and overcooked/ cold food. Not worth the money, live piano music was nice but not worth the exhorbative overall price. Desserts best part.Fairly good bus service.

    Dinner Buffet was terrible. Waiter was very unprofessional. I don't mine them being friendly, his family history but I really do not want to know his family history
