   The acorn is always fabulous!! Came here for my mom’s bday and she loved it. Have to say I was blown away by the maple panna cotta. I usually don’t like panna cotta at all, but this one it up there to be one of my favourite desserts I’ve ever had it was so light and not overpowering. Lovely flavours yet again

   Food is innovative. Service slow. Unfortunately a fellow diner was talking on FaceTime in the middle of the restaurant which made the evening bad.

   Acorn is an amazing experience. Not for a second do you realize that the entire menu is vegetarian. The food is vibrant and delicious utilizing unique ingredients, many of them foraged by the chef. The cocktails are just as good and the wine selection thoughtful. The service is genuine and informative with no pretention. This is now one of our favorite Vancouver restaurants.

   The variety of this brunch menu was excellent. There were so many different flavours on display. The endive in the salad was balanced well by the apple, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Portions were just right for the variety of dishes and everything was paced well. The servers who took care of us were excellent, and my compliments to the entire house and kitchen for doing such an amazing job taking care of everyone. I'm looking forward to the next fixed specialty menu.

   Considering the marketing and the reviews and the Michelin rating and the price, I was very disappointed in the food - you'd think they would not rely so heavily on radishes and beets and daikon to create a vegetarian meal. The first offering of a small bowl of broth was delicious, but our anticipation of further delights was soon dampened with the arrival of thin slices of the above veggies in various compositions, all quite - meh. The final dish of pasta had lots of flavour, and having arrived hungry, we left not hungry, but those were the only other positive aspects of our food.

   Outstanding, exquisite tasting menu experience! Every dish was artistically arranged and picture perfect! The flavors were excitingly different and complex. Clearly a lot of time and effort were put into each dish. Loved the pace of eating so many courses, and being delighted at every bite! Highly recommend the tasting menu experience!

    Incredible vegan dining experience! The food was exceptional; so unique, local/seasonal, and delicious! Excellent service and delicious drinks :).
