Welcome to The Acle Steak, at The Kings Head Inn. We're a steakhouse & brasserie at the centre of the broads town of Acle, where you'll find the finest cuts of meat alongside contemporary pub classics, delicious sweet treats and a fine selection of beers & ales.

We also boast a large car park, 7 bedrooms, a beautiful courtyard and pub garden, plus dedicated family and function room.

It was £21 for a chewy steak and fat fries which were more like a roast potato. There was nothing pepper corn sauce saved it. A tomato or mushroom would have been nice. The waitress was perfect but the food was far from it.

I won't be returning The veg was undercooked, the "garlic and rosemary" roast potatoes were like eating small boulders. The food lacked taste. Dessert was pannacotta and it was very bitter, if it wasn't for the pineapple compote it would've been inedible. Service was slow, but worse of all, when we were sat the owner (I assume owner) kept looking over and staring, it was uncomfortable.

First visit to a local-ish pub. Really impressed. Tastefully decorated - an old building sympathetically restored - lovely dining area, friendly staff who were attentive but not suffocating and incredible food. Outside garden needs a bit of TLC but perfectly useable d as bad we enjoyed watching the swifts come and go feeding their young. A great experience.

The food I could not fault but the staff, completely let the place down. We had a voucher to use and the waitress rolled her eyes at us, at the end of our meal we were packing up getting everything from our table and our kids were waiting for us, they were in the way of the chef but he just sat there rolling his eyes and huffing! The staff completely let the place down! But the food was good

The service delivered by the front of house staff was excellent but the wait time from ordering our food to receiving it at the table was too long which could have been a kitchen issue. Quality of the food was good and the ambiance was great.

We were disappointed with our steak as it was very chewy and sinewy. The last time we went it was very nice, hence our return. Pity really as the restaurant was very good .

Second visit. I returned as my first visit at lunch was lovely. This visit was not so great. We all ate as we were hungry and couldn't wait for food to be redone. My steak was cold. Two people had chicken that was dry and no flavour. The other person who had steak said it had no seasoning. My dessert tasted odd and there was a date stone left which was lucky didn't break a tooth and when pointed out server returned saying " don't worry it wasn't a real stone it was a pip", This made me feel like she was being flippant. Not returning.
