   We were disappointed with our steak as it was very chewy and sinewy. The last time we went it was very nice, hence our return. Pity really as the restaurant was very good .

   Second visit. I returned as my first visit at lunch was lovely. This visit was not so great. We all ate as we were hungry and couldn't wait for food to be redone. My steak was cold. Two people had chicken that was dry and no flavour. The other person who had steak said it had no seasoning. My dessert tasted odd and there was a date stone left which was lucky didn't break a tooth and when pointed out server returned saying " don't worry it wasn't a real stone it was a pip", This made me feel like she was being flippant. Not returning.

   Won’t be coming back. Room was cold, service was slow, steak was tough, there was only 3 tables and they got our order wrong and took ages to clear plates. My drink was empty and was not offered a refill… kind of glad though because for two cokes it was almost £8. Ouch. £95 in total for two. Appalling.

   Excellent food and value for money. Lovely restaurant area, friendly staff and overall a great experience. Fantastic burgers and desserts on a weds evening the burger offer makes this exceptional. We will be back for sure!

   The steak was cooked well and was seasoned beautifully. The blue cheese sauce I ordered with the steak was bland, almost like a pot of cream. The desserts (Sticky toffee pudding and lemon posset) were delicious and generously portioned.

   Popped in for lunch in way past Acle. What a find, just off the A47! Really nice dining room and good food at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be going back again.

   It was absolutely freezing in the so called Snug. ( cold and draughty) And we had to wait a long time to get served , along with everyone else.

   Main meal and wine was great indeed really nice steak, desserts were terrible cheery crème brûlée was more like scrambled egg and the pear tartartan was a slice that had come out of the fridge these should be cooked to order Service was average a bit slow getting to us pleasant enough but no personality All in all it was ok

    Disappointed that there was no sparking wine at all!! Service slow between starters and dinner, but other then that food was lovely!
