We have been coming here for our anniversary for 28 years. Fantastic atmosphere, and fantastic food. I love this place! It is really cool to see the planes take off & land while eating dinner.
Wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere along with the cocktail band . Steak was bland but everything else was good.
Haven’t been there since the early 80’s and so glad we made it there. The dj and dancing was a blast on Friday night. We were welcomed by all and met so many nice people. Good food, great people. We will be back soon.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and food! I cannot say enough about the overall experience!
Had to wait quite a while for the hostess to notice us when we walked in -which was annoying. We had reservations at 7 and didn’t get our meal until 8. The waiter brought our drinks out one at a time which was annoying. They seemed to be out of a lot of menu items. Out of the beer my son ordered, out of the entree he wanted, there was something else as well. There were 4 of us and they brought out a loaf of bread that had 4 pieces of bread. Why couldn’t they have recognized this and brought 2. The ambiance was mediocre and disappointing. Lights should have been dimmed. They were really short staffed. It ruined a great evening that I had anticipated for decades. I’d heard remarkable stories of this restaurant and completely let down.
Very convenient location when flying into CMH. Enjoyable, relaxing dinner
Very nice wait staff. Enjoyed the memorabilia. Unfortunately the steaks were very poor quality and chewy. Not what I would expect for a filet mignon. Carrot cake was dried out and old.
This was my first time since Covid and the first time ever for my friends and we all loved it.
We plan on doing brunch again!
We opted for outdoor dining. Beautiful little setting and we were all by ourselves. The string lights did not work. Wish they would have brought a candle as it got quite dark. Service was a little slow since they only had 2 servers working, but we didn't mind because it was such a beautiful evening. The food was beyond excellent! Ordered was the chicken scallopini, shrimp scampi, prime rib and filet minion. All were delicious. Overall great dining experience.
Went for Sunday Brunch. Due to Covid-19, buffet bar was shut down. Place was quiet, not a lot of customer. Food, service, and view of the airport from our table was good.
BEER CHEESE SOUP!!! This place has great food, great views of the airport and amazing decor.
Great food and excellent service - even though they were short of serving staff. Management did not accept more guests than they could properly serve. Cocktails were top drawer. Love this restaurant!
I love going to this restaurant due to the decor and WWI/WWII music playing softly in the background.
Our salad needed work. The Ceasar Dressing was very bitter while the lettuce was not as crisp as it could have been.
The meals themselves were good but I think my Ribeye could have been more tender.
The waitress we had was awesome. She was very "johnny on the spot" with our every need.
Lastly, I don't know why the place bothers with a reservation requirement. For 1830 on a Saturday evening it barely had any business and the restaurant seemed pretty empty.
The food and entertainment was fantastic! Great service!👍
Was greeted quickly and shown to our table. waiter was very effecient and friendly. the Food was very well prepared and the quality was very good. my wife and i enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere . I would tell friends and family to go there.Overall we really enjoyed our night there.
Food was good but service was a bit slow. Seemed odd seeing that the restaurant was not that crowded
Decor was interesting, food was good, staff was super. First impression had us worried, but we were very happy we tried it.
The food wasn't quite up to par as it normally is, but it was still good. Our waiter was definitely very busy, but he was always courteous and polite, and kept apologizing for longer than normal wait time, etc. My friend had to send her food back because it was overcooked, but every time he passed our table, he made sure to give us an update on it being about done. I'd guess the longer wait and potentially overcooked food was most likely due to short staff during these times when it's hard to hire people. It is still a very nice place with a good atmosphere and food, so we will definitely go back again.
Our dinners consisted of the Normandy Chicken and the NY Strip and shrimp...both excellent. Our waiter and hostess were so nice and welcoming it only added to the ambiance and made us feel like we were visiting a family run / cozy corner restaurant. They played music of a bygone era and the air strip lights were glowing through the storm that rained down on us. It made the whole experience seem otherworldly and just the special trip we were looking for on our quick getaway date night.
The food and ambience of the 94th is always amazing!
Terrible service, food was not hot and prime rib is not supposed to be tough
It was restaurant week so quite busy for them. I could not order outside the menu☹️
It was so very odd. There’s just not a better way to put it. When we walked in, 6 employees were in the entryway. ONE older lady acted as the hostess. It seemed very unorganized and awkward. The atmosphere was amazing. It is the o my good thing I have to say about this place. The service was subpar. It had to have been his first night. He seemed so awkward and forgot every item we asked him for. The food was average to be honest. My salmon smelled so fishy and was way overcooked. The server said that the chef would not do temperatures on salmon. I should have known right then that it was not going to be good or that it was going to be low quality. My husbands prime rib was lukewarm at best. The au jus was so hot he couldn’t even use it-which was so weird. The mashed potatoes seemed out of a box and the dessert tasted frozen. We had to ask for bread and got it with the meal. I really had high hopes for this place. It was such a let down :( I wish we had spent our money elsewhere. We will not be returning.
The 94th Aero Squadron is a timeless & classy experience. WWI & WWII décor & an austere ambiance enhances a wonderful dining experience. The prime rib was scrumptious & the carrot cake a "must order" for dessert. I would highly recommend taking your significant other here for a memorable evening.
Limited to the Restaurant Week menu. The roast beef was stringy and reheated. Ordered medium rare, came out mostly rare. Maybe another time when you can order off the regular menu.
Wish they also had full menu options during restaurant week.
Prime rib was VERY FATTY and lighting bad where we sat. Ask to improve told they couldn't
The prime rib was delicious. The potato crusted chicken lacked flavor and made me feel unwell. Some salt in the sauce would’ve helped a lot with the taste. It was loud in the dining room and there was a live band in another room. We asked to me moved to the room where the band was. We were sat at a table in a corner on uneven flooring. It was sweltering in that corner. There were other tables open that had fans above them but we weren’t offered one of those tables and couldn’t ask to move because the server rarely check in on us. No salt or pepper or other condiments on the table since we moved. No offers or refills or to replace the waters that were left at the other table. The main course came out less than 5 minutes after the first course. I’d barely gotten one bite in before the next course arrived. Not overly impressed, but I would consider going back to give them a second chance at some point.
Although the staff was nice the food was horrible. It was bland and cold. Probably will not go back.
Punch drinks tasted like kool aid could not detect any rum taste even though menu said three different rums.
Food was tasteless needed seasoning. Waiter was friendly and nice, but appeared to be new at the job. The wait staff did not appear to be happy working there.
I used to frequent this location many years ago and it was great, that is why I went there, but oh my God it has gone down hill. Definitely not worth the money I spent. I may only go back if Taco Bell is closed.
I have a feeling this place is overlooked due to location which is sad because I found it unique and the food good. I expected a different menu but what we had was prepared well and presented well. We never received our started but we weren’t billed for it so I think the server never heard us order it. Overall loved the decor, the food. Hopefully they have a marketing team to get the word out.
It was a decent experience, the musty smell was a turn off when you come in. The hostess sat us right away, it was 6:30 so it really wasn't crowded. Service was a little slow and we were not checked on from the time we got our food until we were done. I got the chicken panko which was really good minus the bland parmesan noodles, my husband got the prime rib he said was good but a little dry. My 2 kids got the sizzling steak "med rare" which came out med well. This could be a gold mine if they did some renovation. Probably wouldn't go back.
We had the breakfast brunch menu which was very cost friendly as well as delicious. The service was excellent. I always enjoy the atmosphere and even saw some wildlife out the window! Definitely will go back!
French onion soup is still great! The rest of the food was bland and either overdone (steak) or undercooked (veggies). The service was very poor from server to GM. We do appreciate them making it right on our bill but the attitude wasn’t needed. Hope they are able to give staff the guidance they need and turn it around. Used to be a great place!
The food was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. The restaurant was a little too warm. The service was mediocre at best. It is definitely worth visiting and everything we ordered was delicious. The shrimp scampi was the best I ever had.
Fun place for a 2 year old - neat stuff to look at and view of airplanes on the runway. Food and service was great.
Took my grandmother out for brunch. Some amazing views from out table!!!!
I reviewed already and it didn't save. I was charged $18.00 for eggs, toast and potatoes.
Horrible service, hostess wasn’t anywhere to be found when our group came in waited for several minutes before she showed up to seat us. Our waiter was super slow at everything drinks, refills taking our order literally everything. Table came in 15 minutes after us order appetizers and got drinks before we even got asked if we would like appetizers over all very slow service. Food was plain no real flavors to write about. For the price very disappointing
Worst meal I ever had at a so called Fine Dining Restaurant. $350.00 for the equivalent of microwaved Marie Callander Food if you over Nuked it and let it sit around and get cold before attempting to eat it.
Would not expect this place to make it through the year with Food and Service of that caliber.
