   This is a really great place to eat. The flavors of the meals are incredibly interesting and fun. The owner even went out of his way to go to a nearby restaurant to pick up the type of salad we were hoping for. All of the servers are delightful to work with, too.

   We love the 411 and decided to treat family from out of town for dinner there , but our service was really poor from our waitress and it was a little embarrassing after we hyped the place up.

   There was a band playing on other side of restaurant. Band was not good at all and very annoying. Wish we knew ahead of time how loud and bad it was going to be.

    I was annoyed by the kitchen boys play fighting, smacking each other, and audibly using the f-word so loud we all could here. It always takes 10 minutes to get a server to come over to the table to just bring water. I'm also irritated to see the kitchen and wait staff touching food and not using gloves! Gross! This restaurant is going to get people sick if they don't start being cautious with handling Raw meat without gloves and then handling other food such as spinach and onions. Shameful.

    Exceptional meal. Wanted a special meal for our 40th anniversary and we were not disappointed. Quality was on par with presentation making it a memorable meal. Will recommend and return.

    Overall an excellent place to dine. The menu is interesting and somewhat different from the average local restaurant. Our meals were VERY good, with my steak cooked just right and my wife's chicken also flavorful with a nice presentation. Service was friendly and attentive, altho somewhat forgetful and the room is nice but very wide open. It would benefit from little more sound dampening. 411 is perhaps a little pricier tan other local restaurants but the food and friendly service make it a good choice, especially for an anniversary or special person's birthday. Will go again for sure and recommend to others.

    Great food, amazingly friendly service! We always have a great time each visit there. We're local and tell everyone from out of town to eat here. The price is a lil higher than say a chain place but you get excellent quality... which I'll gladly pay for!

    Waitress was Valerie (I believe), BEST waitress I’ve had there. And I go pretty often. My jalapeño margarita wasn’t as good as usual but will still be going back for sure. This is my favorite place to eat in Norfolk.

    The service was poor. We were sat down by host. Then greeted by one waitress, then a waiter came out and took our drink and food order and brought our drinks then we never saw him again. He went behind the bar and served drinks and he never came back out from behind the bar. Someone else brought our food and the original waitress walked by us probably 20 times and never even looked at us. We wanted more drinks, wanted water filled and wanted desert but no one ever came back to us. We had to stop her and ask for our ticket, meanwhile the waiter/bartender never came back out from behind the bar either and never even looked up at us and we were sitting about 20 feet in front of him.

    We have been to 411 several times since it’s opened. And sadly the food, service and drinks keep becoming less than ideal. For the price of the meals and drinks we should not have wrong drinks served and meals sub-par. We keep giving it a shot hoping they will get it figured out but it seems to be getting worse.

    Went for a nice dinner with friends to one of our favorite places. Drinks and appetizer were good. Three out of 4 of us ordered the pan sautéed chicken, which is one of our favorites. Well, I don’t know what or who changed this entree, but we had chicken strips with a few Little potatoes! This dish is supposed to be mashed potatoes with a nice sautéed chicken breast, a lovely gravy and veggies, such a disappointment. If you aren’t making it like the menu describes please take it off the menu. The food needs to be consistent, so the customer know exactly what they are getting. I hate to see such poor product. We didn’t complain, just won’t be back for a while. Get your act together!

    Our wait staff was not pleasant to be around. They did not know if we could substitute things on the menu and they brought out food that was missing what was listed on the menu items that we ordered. We were supposed to receive mashed potatoes with our meal but we were all given mixed vegetables instead without any warning. We would have brought this up in the restaurant, but we had already waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our food and did not want to wait any longer for a correction. The food was delicious, but communication and service were not good.

    Very electic vibe at the 411. We were in for a pre-Mothers Day dinner on Saturday evening featuring a number of very special dishes, not normally offered along with a special French champagne. Service was ok, food was spectacular, but the music was not in line for a night out with your mother and was a bit loud. All in all a great dining experience!

    I didn’t appreciate hearing the waitress complain about only making a four dollar tip on my $12 meal as I was walking out the door. I have been working in Norfolk since the beginning of February and I’ve been to your restaurant five weeks in a row. I’ll be trying something new next week.

    Food itself was good (not sure it was destination food price worthy). Train your staff better. I ask questions of your micro brews and they had no clue. Ended up with a sour when I told the waitress I was not a fan of them. Also either get new beers or ensure you have them on tap. Being out of over 1/2 your taps is horrid for a restaurant/bar. Slow delivery of food. There was not many in there the night we were in but it took to long for us to get our food. If you want to be a higher end restaurant you have to have better service , food, and bar. Have gone to many in other towns that I would rate way higer.
