The 3 Brewers -Sparks
and Bank Streets, the 3 Brewers is a Microbrewery where we brew
all of our beer on site. Steps from Parliament, we have a fantastic
location with views of the city. Our 2 floors offer potential for a great
bar night or the ability to accommodate large parties or events. In
summer we have a great patio that can accommodate close to 100.
Our menu is a blend of traditional French recipes with our unique
twist as well as Canadian comfort foods.3Brwers is a great place for
lunch, meeting friends after work or any other occasion.
I had mentioned that it was for birthday... and i though restaurant make it special for birthday person... which wasn't done.
The food was very good. The men how prepared the food did some mistake to the order. But they try to fix it really dedicated.
The waitress was extremely friendly and patient to foreign guests!
Despite that I had a reservation and they knew about the busy long weekend And the additional tourists and people attending the busker festival, I was told that the kitchen was « closed » for at least one hour while they caught up with food orders. Hardly greeted at the door- staff seemed flustered. No way to welcome tourists.
End of the day, ended up finding another place to eat.
On the plus side our food was delicious! Unfortunately we waited a long time for it (the waitress did apologize though). We also didn’t like the smell in the restaurant - we were seated by the bar at this large round table right beside the bags of malt and perhaps yeast.
It took close to one hour to get our meal after we ordered.
I am always very impressed with the service and food at The 3 Brewers. This time around the cook agreed to make a special meal for me considering I have food restrictions. My meal was delicious and I received exactly what i ordered.
I will be back for sure!
Honestly it was just an okay experience. We had booked table of 8 for 11:00 on a sunday. The venue itself is gorgeous.
There was hardly anyone there as restaurant had just opened.
The staff were attentive. My concern is the food.
I had ordered a tea and it came cold, they promptly replaced it and was better. The tea service is not great though as teapots were all broken and none would close......and when asked if they had better, we were told that it was a brewery so they didn’t really specialiZe in tea or coffee. That was funny as I just wanted a simple orange pekoe.... but I understand that.
However food was not great. They had run out of the first three of my orders as they had sold out night before.... so each time had to scramble to come with alternatives. They did not have vegetables as fridge had broken? So my option for not having fries was the house salad and that was all.
They ran out of shrimp and tuna and any seafood. The only options were chicken and steak. I asked if they could put the slices steak on one of the salads (since out of all other meats) and was told no.
I ordered the sliced steak and wanted medium rare which was what my friend also ordered. It came completely cooked and very chewy.
The burgers did look good so perhaps that would have been a better and cheaper option.
For dessert, they did not have three of the five options which was disappointing.
I realize you are a brewery but the impression I got online was that you were also a restaurant.
I also realize that restaurants run out of food..... but perhaps you can have the server tell us that in the beginning as we may have chosen to go elsewhere! The bier markt down the way seemed to be a much better option.
Perahps you should just stick with burgers and beer as food does not seem to be your forte.
Won’t come back to eat but may come back for beer.
We weren't greeted until 15 minutes after being seated despite being on time for our 12:15 reservation. There was no real engagement with us from our server other than to take our orders - we had indicated that it was a celebration for a colleague. Despite empty glasses, there were no refills to water or fountain drinks and no one was asked if they wanted another alcoholic beverage. Additionally, two salads were delivered ten to fifteen minutes later than the other meals with no mention or check from the server until they were dropped off. Despite this clearly being a work event, the bills were not brought over until approximately 15 minutes after individuals had finished eating. We've had great experiences in the past and at other locations but would not necessary recommend this location for a work lunch or for a larger party.
Very long wait at the table to be served.
Great location, good food and drinks
Excellent food for an affordable price.
Great pub atmosphere with a restaurant hint.
Good service with a smile.
A place to relax and forget your day to day challenges.
The service was so amazing. The waitresses were very accommodating and patient and super helpful. Thank you ladies!
Food was served quickly and was very appetizing. Service was excellent!
Terrible experience, horrible.
The worst customer service in my life.
Manager completely unprepared. We had to ask for the right bill 4 times, as they were trying to charge us more than we consumed.
Could not provide limes for beers or mixed drinks. Said they were out! Really
Food was good
Tried the one meter flight. Awesome.
We've been going here for a few years now and food is progressively getting worse. This will be our last time using this establishment unfortunately.
The reataurant was quiet at first and we changed table because of the strong cold air blowing. The soup was at a good temperature, but the main course, a tuna melt, arrived half way through our appie and the fries and melt were not warm, almost cold. I was disappointed.
The lunch menu is quick and easy and nice as you get your order within 45 minutes :)
Wonderful place to grab a bite in the evening. Great food and drinks in addition to fantastic waitress coming to check on us just enough to make sure we are okay without being overly disruptive.
Service was very slow. We felt ignored after a while and then rushed to get to our next stop.
Very much enjoyed our meals. We were a party of 8 and this was the first time for a few of us. Unfortunately the service was just terrible. one of my guest was allergic to tomatoes so asked that they be exchanged for green beans, he had ordered the steak to which she refused. When she would show up to refill our drinks, she would only ask a few select of us who wanted refills and not give anyone else a chance to speak up she would leave.
At the end of the meal she asked if anyone wanted a dessert menu, four people said yes, she turned and left where i had to say wait, we said yes to which she replied..oh ok...then taking the order for dessert, left two of my guests out and did not let them order to which we said wait...they want to order too
I hope this is a one time occurrence as we really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was really good, the beer amazing and the ambiance was just comfort!!!
The main courses were served at the same as the appetizers. The young lady serving us wanted to show some understanding with our concerns of having all the food served at once, but was not going to correct the situation. We had to request speaking with the manager, who promptly took back the main courses to be re-served later and freshly cooked.
Had a great time with good friends. 3 Brewers was an ideal setting.
We had stopped going as a group because it was way to long to be served. But this time, we got there at 11:30 and ordered by 11:45 and we were served fast. The food was even better than I remembered it. We will therefore surely go back as a group and try it again. Thank you
Great food, good beer and great environment. Server could have been a little more attentive but what are you gonna do?
The meal was astounding. The beer; the best I gave had in some time. Service was great and we weren't rushed out the door after paying. Will return again and often.
Brought staff of 10 for after work drinks and food. Great accommodations.
For a first experience it was ok, service could be better. Not sure we’ll go back, maybe.
Upon reservation, requested for a "30 minutes in-and-out" as we were a small group in an "all day staff meeting" … the hostess took the time to call back and indicate that they would be able accommodate for 45 minutes (which was fine). And indeed, they were true to their word. We were actually in and out in 45 minutes and this did not diminish the quality of the service or the food. Of course, we could have stayed longer but will for sure next time.
Always great food quality and sercice
Would recommand to anyone
It is exhausting to eat in a restaurant that displays so many TV screens, even more when half of the place is made of windows that reflect them...
Excellent beer, and high-quality pub fare with friendly, quick service! Of course it's a bit on the noisy side but that's expected. Always a great place to meet up with friends after work.
My business Guest's meal looked fabulous, and he mentioned how tasty it was.
Mine was average, I was expecting much better.
Service from your team was excellent, and the young lady who served us was excellent, good humour and very professional.
Server was great. Kitchen accommodated my odd dietary restrictions. Food was just medium.
The mac and Cheese included with sauvages was awful, hardly any cheese just on top, White low quality pasta.
The cajun chicken breast was ok: butterflied and super dry. The skin wasnt cooked fully and all the spices were on it so I ate bland chicken once I took the wet skin off. The mashed potatoes were very unappealing. The food was very disappointing and to top it off we were sat next to the glassed in brewing apparatus: they were pouring hops (?!?) or grains in as we were eating and the smell of ferment was really bad. Service was good but honestly, terrible experience otherwise.
Great location! The place can accommodate many guests. The beer selection is pretty good! The service was excellent: polite, available, fun and efficient. The menu has many classics. The second level is a bit more quite. The desserts are to die for!!!! It is a bit noisy because of the opened concept, but it is still pretty decent. I will be returning in the near future.
The 3 Brewers staff was courteous, pleasant and did not keep us waiting (very important consideration). The menu offered lots of choices and our selections were tasty. Likewise a broad range of beverages are offered and we were very satisfied with our choice of craft beers. All in all a pleasant place to have lunch.
Have been a few times with work colleagues. They have good happy hour specials and good beer. Food has been okay, nothing really to rave about. They also have a great patio in the summer. Service has always been attentive and good.
The service was good, friendly staff. However, we were disappointed with the food, the burgers that had the potential to be very good, were served lukewarm!
Food was mediocre but not very many gluten free options except offering GF buns and some salsa. I don’t recommend the coleslaw it was heavy on the cabbage. The cider was semi dry and delicious. The server was not very attentive and only came to our table a couple of times and did not refill water or ask if we wanted another beverage. Overall it was a cool atmosphere.
