The 2 Grands Piano Bar and Steakhouse
This was our first time there. Not sure if we happened to just get a bad night, but seems most everything was subpar except for the steak. They were cooked to perfection and very good. Veggies were good but cold. Margherita flatbread was soggy and not a true
Margherita. It should have thinly sliced tomatoes and BASIL. Wine list is not very inviting. You did not have several items that we would have liked: Radlers, no ginger beer to make a Moscow mule, no Bearnaise sauce, no mushrooms, no lemon cake. Cheesecake was delicious though. The waitress was alone and tried her best. All this to say, our visit was disappointing considering the money spent.
Was an enjoyable evening, food was very good. A little frustrated when we were advised that several menu items were not available / sold out. It was only 7:00. Waitresses were very accommodating and friendly. Two items had to be removed from our bill because we did not receive them during dinner. The music was very good, even had a chance to dance beside our table. I would return to visit again.
The service was amazing. Food was good but over cooked for my taste. The wine and music and fun, worth going again.
Yes I would recommend an evening at the 2 Grands as Chris is a great entertainer. I like his interaction with the customers, he is a great piano player and singer. Very talented. However, I would tell them of our experience with the food end of it. We were so disappointed with our meal but I will try it again 'cause I think it is a great place to spend an evening.
I would recommend it but would probably tell them our experience. I spoke with some of the girls today and they said they were glad to have had the chance to try the place but said they would not return. They liked the ambiance and the music but the food left something to be desired.
