The 1867 is a renowned licensed eatery at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village, just north of Weedon in Northamptonshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and boutique shops, it’s a perfect spot to meet friends, family, or business associates from across the UK and beyond.

We welcome well-behaved dogs with water and treats on arrival. Open daily from 9:15 am for breakfast, including bank holidays (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day & Easter Sunday). Afternoon Tea is served from 2–4 pm—please pre-book with any dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely wants you to leave feeling better than when you arrived, and we’ll do our utmost to make that happen. Last food orders at 3:00 pm.

You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. If you are arranging a table for a special occasion, be sure to tell us all about it in the message box upon booking. Breakfast is strictly served between 9.30-11.30am.

                                                                        Everything was spot on, including the balloon and on leaving a little bottle of prosecco and card signed by everyone. My wife loved it. We will be coming back again, Thankyou

                                                                        I’d recommend booking a table. Eaten here a few times whilst visiting heart of the shires. (Unfortunately never gotten her name, although I think it’s Jackie) but the lady who is always on the front desk is always welcoming and lovely. Very accommodating, in the past when we haven’t booked we haven’t ever been turned away if they’re full inside, there’s always been an effort made to get us in and seated. I booked today for the first time. My table was ready early and someone (I believe Jackie) called me to let me know we could come earlier if we wanted. The choices of food is enough for a lunchtime meal. The cakes always look delicious and the coffee is nice too!

                                                                        Extremely warm welcome by the team. Prompt quick service food was lovely. I had a balloon on my table as it was my birthday and was given a mini bottle of Prosecco and a card when leaving.

                                                                        Absolutely loved it here, it's the 4th or 5th time we have been and it never disappoints, lovely welcome, great seating for our group of 4 and our 2 dogs who were very well looked after! Food was lovely, great portion sizes and tasty too. Great value for good, well cooked food.
