That's Amore - Italian Restaurant / Pizzeria
We’ve been going to That’s Amore since it opened. We like going there. The food is good but out of the ordinary. But every time we leave we say how expensive it is just for a pizza restaurant.
They have added tables and it is too crowded to sit comfortably. The chairs hit each other with someone sitting at the tables behind us.We had difficulty get out the door from our table.
Pizza was cold and under cooked....
This is our favorite pizza, it’s just like being in Italy. We are from NY and it’s our favorite. The menu is great. We live their sauce. The staff is friendly. Great food and drinks. Our favorite Italian Restaraunt in the Boynton / Delray area !!!!
Yes... we'd go again. Yes... we'd order one of the best pizzas made in the USA ( you might think you are in Naples ... Italy not FL). Fantastic sauce and cheese, for a long pizza served on aboard (ala Italy). First visit is complicated because you need to find the garage parking. Reservations are honored! The lady waitress not very good, as she doesn't follow through to well. Nut, the service by the gentleman from Italy is great, and makes up for her. He makes some some of the deserts, too.
They have taken a poor location in a modern apartment building, and made it excellent.
Food and service is always great
We had been to That’s Amore twice before for their pizza but this time decided to try a main dish. We were all very happy with our choices and thought the pasta was fresh and delicious. My friend thought the pasta and vodka sauce was the best she has had. My bolonese was very light (May be a little too light) was also tasty. We will definitely be back. Prices were reasonable and all the staff friendly and helpful.
A taste of Naples, Italy. This is not an American copy of Italian cuisine. Owners and most staff members are from Naples, Italy. Authentic Italian Wine and an recipes with many, if not all, of the ingredients shipped from Italy. The staff really appreciates your business.
One recommendation: live and recorded music should be all dinner style Italian at a volume that enables patrons to talk without yelling.
I will be going again.
The experience was not very good overall. We were on a time crunch, 35 minutes, and the kitchen took an hour. And when we asked the waitress to box it up for us because we were running late, she looked down on us. Pizza was 5/10.
Wonderfull, we thought we were in Italy. Very good and very friendly.
That's Amore is the BEST Italian food in Florida, it holds its own when compared to restaurants in our New York. The staff is AWESOME - a must experience while visiting Boynton Beach.
Food was great. So was the service.
We will be back
Pizza is great; authentic Neapolitan style. Tried the eggplant rolatini & it was very good! Traditional southern Italian cuisine cooked & run by Italians from Salerno.❤️
Great classic Italian food. The margarita pizza was amazing. Will go back soon.
Aside from being very difficult to find, we waited over an hour for our food which arrived lukewarm. Bad food, deplorable service and a waitress with an attitude.
Truly authentic Neapolitan pizza!
My husband is originally from Italy - grew up in a very Italian family. We both agree, the food, service, pricing and feel of That's Amore is spot on! We were there with another couple and all 4 dishes were divine. We are already planning our next trips (multiple) back. Perfecto!
A hidden gem. Food is just like Italy !! Our favorite restaurant in South Florida. Pizza is to die for !
Service is always excellent - the pizza is probably the best in the area,
Been a few times with large groups. They take reservations which is great. Food is fresh, authentic. Try their 40" pie - perfect for groups. Fun place. Good Food. Sometimes service is a little slow but we never really mind. Food is worth the wait.
Our food that was supposed to be warm was served cold and besides being cold the food was not very good. Nice waitress but still poor service.
Excellent pizza, pasta & dessert! I am only one, humble (ashamed), American but my good friends who actually lived in Italy for a time agree that it's quite good.
We just happened upon this restaurant through TripAdvisor. It’s been opened for 6 months. It’s not easy to find . However, it was worth the wait. Natasha greeted us and we were seated immediately . The service was attentive. As for the food....fabulous! We had the Ceasar salad and the special arugula salad. So fresh and lightly dressed! Perfection. I ordered the Marguarita pizza which was so favorful and lught. The sauce was wonderful and definitely did not come out of a can! We also ordered the chicken parmigiana and pasta. Again, great portion ... fresh and the sauce was wonderful.
We can’t wait to return!
Being a first visit, it took us a while to work out the parking location and that the entrance was not on Federal but in a small arcade at the rear.
We were a little early which as it turned out became a good thing as a party of 9 plus children showed up and I’m sure would have been a bit of a problem.
The interior is minimally decorated but the place is more rustic Italian food than anywhere else we’ve been. Service was laid back Italian style.
The calamari wasn’t the best and we didn’t think the gravy was either. The pizza base was rustic but we had a problem finding the cheese. We’re not lovers of large globs of cheese which is the normal American preference but had difficulty seeing or tasting any on our pizza.
This is a new business and they are I think still on the learning curve. I wouldn’t order a delivery which is done by delivery dudes. The pizzas would not be in the best condition at their destination as there was delays and confusion over each order before delivery dudes even put the boxes in their bag.
The brick oven is a bit of a problem in that it’s design doesn’t permit delivery pizzas to be kept warm over the oven before its complete or picked up.
We will return despite our having lost some of the excitement we took in with us.
Great music on Friday night! Calamari delicious but portion very small
This is a must try new place near the ocean. We had a Family get together and we wanted to try a new sit down Italian pizza restaurant. We loved it. Our server Haili was amazing, ask for her. She’s top notch. It hard to get that great of service. We go out weekly multiple times trying to find new places we can recommend. This was one Quaint place we loved. The Cabernet wine was delicious we loved it so much we purchased 2 bottles. The Pizza is delicious and the crust was perfect.
Only thing we didn’t care for was the music, it was way too loud we had to scream to each other. We asked our server could she please ask him to tone it down, (and they did for a bit then back up again). It was live music and he was excellent The place is small so his lovely Italian music should just be background music. Not like your at a concert. The music when he takes a break even louder. So that’s the only thing we didn’t care for. However, if your into loud live concert type music when your having dinner, then by all means you will love it.
They serve beer and wine only. Which is perfect. However no bar to sit at. Which would be a great addition if they added some bar stools so you can sit and watch the pizza being made. Especially the locals would love to stop by more often for a pizza and glass of wine at the bar.
If you want an authentic Italian experience, I highly recommend you try this restaurant.
Excellent Authentic Neopolitan ingredients. Simple but creative menu. Excellent Buffalo Mozzarella, Pizza, Lasagna, Broccoli Rabe & Sausage. Simple but surprisingly good wine list. Great atmosphere!
Fabulous...food, service and overall experience. Can't wait to go back. It felt like home. Brava!!!!
Always good food and service.
Had a wonderful evening with friends. Great food and good music.
Amazing pizza's and great service from Aldo. We came twice while we were staying in the area and couldn't recommend highly enough.
Great little neighborhood find with excellent pizza and homemade desserts, nice wines, we had a wine from Pulia region it was excellent! I would recommend this pizzeria!
