Thasos is a haven for those who don’t want to speed through moments in time. Surrender to the inviting yet transportive environment and allow your imagination to wander to the allure of the Greek isles. A place where pretense diminishes and guests are invited to unwind from the frenzy of life’s distractions by taking one back to a place of cascading blues and pearly whites: welcome to Thasos.
Sample delights inspired by the long-standing culinary traditions of the Greek culture presented with a fresh, modern twist. The menu is reminiscent of the undulating textures in the Mediterranean. Just as ancient fishermen were inspired by the vast oceanic beauty, we were inspired to capture the true essence of the sea. The menu honors Thasos' lush landscape and exterior, by blending the boundaries between nature and artifice.

Thasos Ratings and Reviews
Second time in a month. New chef seemed to mean less options in menu. Really not a welcoming gesture not to provide pita with complimentary tapenade (hard Italian bread ?...) but only with the purchase of a spread. I think I will leave this one alone for awhile and see if it lasts
Glad that Thasos is back, but the sound level was very high despite not being crowded. waiter even missed part of our order. Some of my favorites no longer on the menu. water glasses are too small. two gulps and it's time for more water. but the food is good, upscale greek.
I ordered the Thanksgiving meal. It tasted great but $55 seemed a bit high. The rest of my family bought only a few smaller items such as salad and spinach pie and they enjoyed each item but I think that they expected the items to be more of a meal than an appetizer. To be fair they were ordering from the appetizer section.
We went to Thasos to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was our first time there and I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The food was unbelievable! Very tasty, great quality and efficient service. It is a little pricey so would recommend Thasos for a special occasion.
The food was excellent. The Saganaki was the best I ever had. The spreads and pita ap were delicious. We had the Bronzino and it was delicious with lemon potatoes. They were unbelievable.
Deserts were really great. Service was attentive but not overbearing. We will definitely go back soon.
We were here for a birthday celebration - group of 12. Seated at the table behind the hostess desk. Overall ambiance and decor is very good.
Due to the glass windows, headlights of cars driving out of the strip mall across the street shine directly in your face if you sit on either side of the table. Its an easy fix maybe they were just not aware of it.
Food was very good - lamb chops perfectly done but a little extra salty. Drinks were great - good recommendations from our server.
Service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for water to be refilled. When new guests arrived there was a long wait to take any drink or food orders. If the service had been more attentive, I would definitely recommend the place.
This restaurant is know to me for years; history is good, brief "interruption" of ownership was OK; it is even better now that the "old" owners are back! Recommend and enjoy it with all my heart. Lady owner represents what you would describe as "worm-hearted (jet professional) hostess"! All my thumbs up!!!
THASOS is a fabulous dining experience. The original owners are back and it's better than ever.
It's the top of our list for a great delicious dinner. All our friends love the place too. I would highly recommend and rate it as one of the best restaurants in Ft Lauderdale.
The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. I would consider this upscal greek/ mediterranean, not like the noisy places that throw napkins and break plates. The atmosphere is beautiful. The appetizer plate of the different dips with pita was served beautifully. The grilled octopus was among the best I have ever eaten.
Perfect service, we got all our questions answered - about decour, meal choices and even great NYC places recommendations for our upcoming trip there. It was our special dinner and it was perfect. The food was amazing, fresh and I can honestly say that it was definitely one of the best places I've been to. Would recommend to everyone, 200%!
Truly wonderful, a fresh modern take on Greek without losing the traditional flavors. The restaurant was light and airy feeling. I loved the mix of crisp white with wood and stone- you felt very much like you were in a modern restaurant on a Greek island. I loved it all but I have to say my favorite were the zucchini chips--just fabulous!
We have been going to this restaurant since it opened as Thasos, got sold and became Nisi and then resold to its original owners and became Thasos again. What a let down! Out of appetizer and desert selections and just ok entrees, one of which didn't resemble the description in the menu. Service became extremely slow once the restaurant started filling up. We will not be back.
The service was poor! Waiter brought cocktals in wet glasses, no coaster; based on prices one would expect full professional service. Hostess seemed confused or not really in the mood to provide a good table. Food wait was excessive. No one came to give us updates.
I think the menu has changed a bit since it was NISI, all for the better. We loved NISI, but the menu seems to have wider options than before. Maybe my imagination. Everything was great. We had Sirloin tip, which was excellent and a friend had the lanb chops which were spectacular. Great ambiance. Highly recommend for Mediterranean.
Food was incredibly good and the server was very nice and knowledgeable. The only issue was everything was slow, we didn't get seated until 45 minutes after our reservation, 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks or water. 20 more minutes before we got bread, and almost an hr after we were seated for our appetizers.
Was worth it for the food, but don't go if you're in a hurry.
This has always been one of our favorite Greek spots because of their large selection of small plates. You can really make a meal on them. We split their Greek salad which was delicious but could use green pepper. We also had the lamb meat balls and the zucchini chips. For the main course my partner had the lamb chops which he loved and I had the scallops. The lamb was great and my scallops were cooked to perfection but they were served with a parsnip pear puree that was the color of baby crap on the plate and did not taste pleasant to me. I will continue to go there but never order that again..
We're looking to try something different; so gave this restaurant to try. Beautiful interior; light and airy! The octopus was very good. The prawns ($25) were slightly overcooked and just okay. The moussaka was superb; rich and delicious! The server was frustrating -could not make suggestions, absent minded, and I would go so far as to say apathetic! The wine selection was pretty decent. The menu needs to either be more descriptive or the server needs to be better able to communicate. We would return for the moussaka alone!
