Sample delights inspired by the long-standing culinary traditions of the Greek culture presented with a fresh, modern twist. The menu is reminiscent of the undulating textures in the Mediterranean. Just as ancient fishermen were inspired by the vast oceanic beauty, we were inspired to capture the true essence of the sea. The menu honors Thasos' lush landscape and exterior, by blending the boundaries between nature and artifice.

Great food.. great wine.. but service was horrible! They were very busy but this was ridiculous. It was just me and my wife..sat down and it was 20min before we seen a waiter and it was only because my wife got up to get one.. we ordered 3 apps and a bottle of wine..2 mains .. finally 1 dessert and we were dining almost 3 hours.!! Not a good experience considering we liked our food.
Food is outstanding , steak, lamb and fish all were delicious. Noise level was very high, 3 musicians played Greek minis, and it was amplified throughout the restaurant, it was blasting.
Nous en sommes à notre dixième visite chez Thasos et sommes toujours aussi satisfait. Je crois même que la nourriture s'est améliorée au fil des ans. Nous y retournerons!
Terrific dinner tonight, Jason took very good care of us as we enjoyed mezzes, sagagnaki, lamb and rosemary chicken. Plenty of non-Greek options, if you’re so inclined.
Dined Saturday night had a great server named Francesco Flamed Sakinaki cheese was as good as we’ve ever tasted Grilled lamp chops and rosemary skewers were very tasty All in all excellent experience especially on a very busy night
Solid Greek option in the Fort Lauderdale area. Very nice ambiance as well. My friends and I were happy with our food. The service was definitely on the slower side, but the tasty cocktails kept us occupied.
Dependably excellent food in a great ambience. One of Fort Lauderdale's best restaurants.
This restaurant is always great especially since the original owner took the place back over. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant. Good value. Great ambience and service. Food very good.
Only issue is very very loud music on weekends makes it hard to carry on a conversation. If you’re looking to have one I recommend you request a table far away from the music.
Love This restaurant. We eat there whenever we are in town. We always try to bring someone with us to introduce them to a great eating experience!!!
Food and service were wonderful. But the noise level was over the top. Extremely noisy and painfully difficult to have an easy conversation. Perhaps it was because it was the weekend. We will come back but NEVER on a weekend again.
Beautiful room!!! Absolutely gorgeous!! My swordfish special was delicious (although the side of rice served with it was not good) The Greek salad & feta was great!
Will definitely return as I think this is one of the prettiest rooms in Fort Lauderdale
We haven’t been to Thasos in a few years. The last experience we had was mediocre at best with slow unfriendly service and uninspired food. It might have been Nsis then. I don’t know if it is because of the change in ownership but our most recent experience couldn’t have been better! We were a party of five and everyone thought the food and service were excellent. Francesco was attentive and friendly, and amazingly shook all of hands as we left. We shared roasted eggplant spread, calamari and meatballs for appetizers...everything was amazing. Three had the scallops for entree and we all agreed they were the best we’ve had in a long time. Four nice sized scallops, perfectly caramelized but moist on a bed of puréed squash. The other two entree choices were mahi-mahi and snapper and were delicious as well. We have been to Greek Islands across the street several times and think Thasos is more than a cut above. First, the convenience of making a reservation and not standing in line for an hour or more is huge. The decor of Thasos is bright, contemporary and beautiful, a stark contrast with dark Greek Islands. Will definitely recommend Thasos, and can’t wait to return!
The food and service was fantastic!! Lamb chops were amazing! Will recommend and add to one of my go to restaurants!
Best Greek Restaruant in all Fort Lauderdale. fantastic lwood fire cooked lamb chops
Pleasant evening delicious whole branzino this place is a favorite
Always excellent but music a bit too loud!!!!
Lovely location, modern, light and clean. Fresh food, delectable combinations, traditional seasoning. Char on grilled Octopus and sear on Chilean Sea Bass are supreme!
Family night out- 1st time loved our experience!
Fantastic as usual.
Excellent ambiance. Great build out. Amazing food. Overall great experience.
We had a delicious dinner at Thasos. Our waiter Tim was great! He recommended several special dishes. We shared flaming saganaki and the zucchini chips. With tsadiki sauce. The Greek salad was fresh and plenty for 2-3 people. I had the lamb chops. They were meaty, tender and seasoned perfectly. My husband enjoyed the chicken Shish kebab, and our friends had the salmon and the scallops. Our desserts were wonderful as well! My only complaint would be the noise level was a bit challenging for conversation! We loved the restaurant and will definitely return!
Another wonderful dining experience at Thasos
Very good Greek seafood and more; good value; cool modern décor with live music.
Great food, service and atmosphere... as always.
Was visiting from Chicago and saw the add in one of the local travel magazines, so took a chance and was very pleased with the entire experience
We had a wonderful meal here last night. We had the beet salad, taziki, and Bronzino. It was a treat to have the whole fish de-boned on presentation. It was a great, authentic experience and we will be back!
Everything was great just wished the server would have checked in during the entrees. Could have used a few things but I managed to endure.
The service was great, and the food was delicious as always. The only thing that I would recommend is making the noise level lower. The music was fun and festive, but too loud. Additionally, the screaming children behind us needed to be put on mute. 🤣
Great food and beautiful decor
We ate at this restaurant 3 to 4 years ago several times when we visited the area. Each time the food was superior. This visit we had a reservation and they made us wait 30 minutes and placed us right in front of the music which was unnecessary. We asked them to give us another table but they said we’d have to wait longer and the music was unbearable. We asked for them to turn it down three times and they didn’t. Seabass was thin and hard and was sent back. The lobster was chewy and overcooked. Dover sole was too lemony and vegetables were too lemony watery sauce. The Bronzino was served cold. We were very disappointed because this once was our favorite Greek restaurant.
This is one of my favourite restaurants for dining. Our main course took 1 plus hour when it arrived it was cold.
We had a great time! Our server Jason was phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back and try more things. I really loved this restaurant— it reminded me of some of my favorite spots in Manhattan and the Hamptons. 💕💕👏🏼👏🏼
Waited a long time for very small portions. Wait time and availability misrepresented on open table. Food not as described. If something has a cream sauce it should not say it has a white wine sauce due to allergies. Very loud atmosphere. Waiter was nice but distracted and difficult to pin down. One of the house specialties had only a few pieces of braised lamb in it. Left hungry and disappointed.
The food was terrific. We were all satisfied.
Bad service and over cook fish
It was New Years Eve so I get that it is crazy busy but...We were seated outside which was nice because it was crazy loud inside. Out waiter came and took our drink order right away. 20 minutes later I went looking for him. Host sent him back out. He said he had been taken off our table. He took our order any way. Food for 3 of the 4 of us arrived. It was cold. The three finished. Still no fourth entree. They had to go find it. Food would have been good if it was warm. I will try this restaurant on a normal day but would never do a large dinner party there. I don't think they could provide good service.
We live nearby and come there a lot—we usually eat inside, often at the bar where we get great service. We had a reservation for NYE and were seated outside, after a 20 minute wait. The manager was seating people one at a time. Very strange and very slow. But we eventually got a nice table on the patio. Fortunately it was a cool night.
Waiter was a nice guy but clearly overwhelmed. He vanished for long stretches. We only got 2 pieces of bread, had to ask for more, got olive spread but no olive oil.
We had the saganaki (good), greek salad (ok), red snapper (good but it did not look like red snapper) and lamb chops (good).
Recommendation: come there on a less busy night. They were not prepared for the crush of people that showed up on NYE.
Muy bueno, local, nada ostentoso, pero de buen gusto, atendido por los dueños, lo mejor en ft Lauderdale
After waiting nearly an hour for our food, the chicken I received was entirely raw inside- pink slimy raw chicken. They took it back to the kitchen- did not replace the raw piece I’d cut into- Cooked it- brought it out missing 1/3 of the skewer and then offered a free dessert- still charging for the raw chicken. Can’t make this up...it was awful...
