Sample delights inspired by the long-standing culinary traditions of the Greek culture presented with a fresh, modern twist. The menu is reminiscent of the undulating textures in the Mediterranean. Just as ancient fishermen were inspired by the vast oceanic beauty, we were inspired to capture the true essence of the sea. The menu honors Thasos' lush landscape and exterior, by blending the boundaries between nature and artifice.

We were a group of five so we ordered numerous appetizers and shared. This was AWESOME and everything was delicious. It was a Saturday night so they had live music, which we LOVED! They played a wonderful variety and people were just getting up and dancing sporadically, which was FUN!! We had a couple bottles of wine which were very good and modestly priced. That was GREAT! Everyone had a different entree and again we did tasting, which was really nice. And lastly, we had several desserts and shared again and we ALL enjoyed it! The service/waitress was distracted and so the service was slow and sproradic and the noise level was VERY LOUD so it made it difficult to visit but the food quality was SUPERB! We will be going back.
We will return. The lamb dishes were delicious, I recommend. Octopus cooked perfectly. Grape leaves were fresh. Moussaka was not traditional too many potatoes but ok. Service was attentive. Nice wine selection. enjoyed meal. Chic decor.
Thasos is visually exciting and gastronomically a true Greek feast!
After several visits, we are never disappointed - of course a couple of their “Honey and the Bees” cocktails may whet the appetite...
An Instagram must for out-of-town guests!
We would have preferred softer Greek music instead of the band
My second time there, the food is great and so is the ambience. We ordered an appetizer at 8:15 on a Saturday evening they were already sold out of, a little surprised about that and our dinner took almost an hour to get to our table. Very friendly staff, great menu options, live music, huge bar area with a lot of seating. We will definitely go back, I think they were just having an off night.
Wonderful food. Great service. Live music way too loud. Had a sore throat and sore ears at the end of the evening
Great restaurant, great food. Slow service. We had to get up several times and walk to service area to ask for what we needed. Our waiter disappeared and we had a different waiter half way through dinner. Wanted another drink but never got it. I wanted to also take my leftover meal to go but they never brought a box and took my food when I wasn’t looking. I was bummed because I wanted to take it home to finish.
We have dined here many times and have never been disappointed. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the pleasure of having a bottle of wine poured properly goes without saying...a lively, fun place with imaginative and pleasing decor.
James our waiter was awesome
Thasos has excellent service staff and very good food. Full bar, nice wines though not extensiv, few good beer choices though. Decor is bright white and it is loud. They have valet parking, a consideration in the area. We would recommend it as we will be back!
My girlfriend and I came to Thasos for dinner on New Year's Eve and had what was easily the worst dining experience of my life. We had a 9:45 reservation but weren't seated until 10:30; one of the courses never arrived (out of a 4-course prix fixe menu); by 11:57, the champagne toast hadn’t been passed out, so we had to go up to the bar and get it ourselves; we didn’t get our main courses until well after midnight; the food that did arrive was comically bad—and all this at a ludicrous $150 a person. Obviously, this was a special event and not necessarily representative of the restaurant in general, but holy smoke, it sucked.
Beautiful restaurant that can’t get the food out. Quality of the food is good but tasteless
Service awful not worth it
Excellent early New Years Eve dinner!!!!
I hadn't been to Thasos since they updated the inside and it's absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic too. We decided to dine at the bar because the bartender was very nice and the service was great. We ordered four tapas dishes and drank Greek wine. Will be back soon!
Everything was delicious!
I do not like waiting for my table because your valet parking is stacked up. that is what happened. I want to be sitted instead of standing at your reservation desk. that sets a bad tone from the beginning of the evening. the music is simply too loud in what is already a very noisy restaurant. I generally like the food although I miss the smelts that you had on your menu. we were a party of three and it was clear, however, that parties with larger numbers had priority. I also tried one of your signature cocktails -- there is no liquor in it. I used to love coming there, but the last couple of visits have not gone so smoothly. so, it may be a while before I return.
Food was excellent. Great dolmas, tzatziki was smooth with subtle (not overwhelming ) garlic, calamari cooked to perfection with a really nice sauce on the side, whole fish was great, and absolutely the BEST baklava I've ever had. Service with a smile, but spotty during the busy period.
Christmas Day Dinner
Great food, service and atmosphere with live dinner music. Perfect.
Christmas dinner and birthday celebration. Overall food was good and our waiter was very pleasant. Christmas holiday is busy so expect food delay and louder than usual atmosphere. We made our reservations in advance which I highly recommend. Alcohol beverages reasonably priced.
We love Thasos but this time was not their best night. Grilled octopus was a great start. Great quality and perfectly prepared.
The four of us ordered the Fagri fish special. We thought it was $30 but it was $30 PER POUND so when the entrees were $45 each we were surprised. To add insult to injury it was loaded with bones. Flavor was great we must say. Sides came out late and coffee took forever.
Really nice Christmas Day lunch.
The food was delicious, from the entrance to the dessert. The service was unbeatable.
The atmosphere was very nice and they treated us with a smile all the time. The food arrived on time, and it was delicious.
Not always the US is known for having good service in their restaurants, so finding this little oasis in Florida was a success, so I recommend it, and yes, I definitely would back.
I recommend the octopus, and the salmon. And of course, do not leave without trying the lamb in any presentation and the Scallops.
I also recommend to try the range of Greek wines and for dessert I recommend Baklava, greek yogurt and galaktoboureko and the ekmek kataifi.
Great atmosphere and vegetarian good
We had a very bad experience at Thasos on Christmas Eve - due most to a disinterested waiter, lack attention by staff and unacceptably poor service. Food was good, what we ate of it at least and the decor is bright and modern. But when it passed one hour and no entrees or side dishes had appeared yet, and we were staring at an empty marble table without even the candle lit, we complained that we were going to leave and asked for our bill for the wine and app we consumed. The waiter had no sense or urgency, a hostess had come around once and said she would check and never came back. Finally as we were getting up to walk out, the food arrived with the stunned manager whose excuse was 'the kitchen is very busy...' We said we didn't want the food and were leaving. Their excuses were lame and we were clearly not the only table complaining about the lack of service and wait times. Epic fail!
Beautiful restaurant, good food but service was very slow (however food came out fast - Our server was not around much) and it was very loud in there so it was difficult to have any sort of conversation.
WE loved Thasos and ended up eating at the bar rather than at our reserved table. On Saturday evenings there is live entertainment and it made it a special night. Service at the bar was quick and efficient. Asking for a water was a challenge a few times. But over all very nice. Yes I would go back to try a few other dishes on the menu.
A L W A Y S a good choice
Beautiful restaurant with a good Greek menu, excellent cocktails and a nice wine list. Service was good, although our fish was lukewarm. The traditional appetizers are delicious.
I have probably reviewed Thasos at another occasion, and that review would read the same as this one because Thasos is consistently great. Food, service, atmosphere are all terrific. Some evenings offer live music, yet you can still have a conversation. From the first moment you enter you get a warm greeting and more importantly management (George) stops by the tables to check that everything is up to standards. Extra bonus...free valet parking.
Appetizers were amazing but dinner was mediocre for the price. The ambiance and setting of the restaurant was gorgeous. I will definitely go back for drinks and appetizers.
This restaurant is delicious, stylish and energetic.
George is very engaging and made tonight’s meal feel extra special.
Worst experience of my life. The manager actually yelled at us. Claiming it was authentic Greek food. It would be like me saying that Sushi is Italian food. Stay away, don’t waste your money. True authentic Greek food is only a mile away
Went with my fiancée for the first time and it was shocking how the service was top notch . We have been to many high end restaurants and none came near the service at this fine restaurant. Then the food came and that blew us away as well, tasty and light . I loved the staff and food and would definitely come back and recommend to others .
Lovely dining room, like being in Santorini!
Cheeky stalling tactic of making you wait at the bar ( where you off course order a drink / spend more money ) even tho our table was ready - they said it wasn’t !
Service was a bit slow - until the maitre d’ put a rocket up the waiters tail and then things picked up.
Busy and buzzy on a Friday night. We ordered a selection of appetisers and a feta and watermelon salad. Dessert came complimentary - due to slow service I guess - a nice touch but was not very nice ! Fortunately the table next to us ( a group of tanked up guys ) fancied it and scoffed the lot!
Nice place, ok food, nothing particularly memorable but not bad either.
Average to below average. I wanted to like this restaurant, I really did. My spouse got the snapper special and it was barely seasoned (if at all) set atop bland couscous. For $33, you need to blow me away. I could have cooked as well as what was served. I received a very small portion of moussaka with very little eggplant. I will say that the octopus was not overcooked. Beautiful restaurant, airy and well lit, but totally not worth it. Go to Greek Isles Taverna 1 mile away.
Off the chart delicious food. Ambiance perfect
Service was very slow. We were seated and forgotten about, after about 20 minutes i had to get up and ask for server. Other tables around looked just as frustrated. Food was good but overpriced for what we got. Ambiance was great. Great lighting and decor. We drove from miami, but dont think we will be returning.
Can't beat the Happy Hour menu and prices.
Food was delicious and service was attentive.
Interior of this restaurant is really nice and along with the tasty food makes for a great experience. Lamb chops, chicken and Greek salad are all recommendations.
