Sample delights inspired by the long-standing culinary traditions of the Greek culture presented with a fresh, modern twist. The menu is reminiscent of the undulating textures in the Mediterranean. Just as ancient fishermen were inspired by the vast oceanic beauty, we were inspired to capture the true essence of the sea. The menu honors Thasos' lush landscape and exterior, by blending the boundaries between nature and artifice.

Lamb chops are out of this world 😋
We went there to celebrate my parents 60th birthday and it was such a nice place with great food 😊
A beautiful setting for delicious food.
A meal to remember! We let our waiter guide us on suggested dishes to share so we could taste lots of flavors.
Zucchini chips, scallops, calamari and moussaka all excellent! Dessert with angel hair philo to die for.
Service was attentive but let us take our time.
We are planning a return visit.
The food and service were both amazing! I will definitely go back and recommend to others!
Absolutely perfect in every way possible!!! Such a beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and the staff is so attentive they made us feel like family! Thank you for the perfect night out!
Never disappoints, always a great experience.
Thanks Thasos for the delicious food & nice atmosphere !
Thasos is a beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and the service flawless . Enjoyed the octopus and stuffed grape leaves . My dining partner loved the lamb chops. The manager/ owner was friendly and interacted with all the patrons to check on level on satisfaction. We were not disappointed and will definitely return .
Very nice restaurant, menu and service. A bit pricey but worth it for special occasions.
Food is outstanding. Best Greek Rest in Fort Lauderdale
Amazing greek food, great service and a beautiful place to have dinner.
Celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary
Celebrating Anniversary, my spouse lives Greek meals and enjoyed previous experience.
Nothing outstanding about this experience. Just ok
The décor was fabulous and very accommodating. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't more crowded when we were seated at 7:30, but then came to realize why. Food was mediocre and high priced for what you got. I had high hopes for Thasos, but now will not be returning unless I hear they have a new kitchen staff. Greek Isles may not be as nice, but the food is much better and less expensive. Oh well.
The overall evening was great. From the grilled octopus to the zucchini chips to our main course of Brandi was prepared to perfection.
Unfortunately the lamb chops were over cooked and my partners lobster over a pasta was overcooked as well. Very overpriced. The waiter and manager did bring another 2 lamb chops for me and it was very good.
I was very surprised they didn't take my dish with the 1 1/2 eaten and the others and return with a new dish filled with the lamb chops cooked medium. Instead they gave me 2 lamb on a side dish. and left the original meal in front of me. So when the lamb chops came my side dish were cold.
Great place feel like on a Greek island & superb Greek food
Outstanding experience. Food and service was great I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Upon arrival, we asked to sit away from the live music, knowing it gets too loud for conversation. We had a lovely quieter table, beautifully adorned with great food and an accommodating waiter. Whole red snapper for two, roasted veggies with salad for beginners made for a beautiful dinner. We will return.
We attended a political event at Thasos several months ago. It was very crowded. The passed appetizers were not very good but we attributed that to the crowded event setting. Since we live in the area we decided to try it again.
"Awful " is the best way I can describe our experience. We started with one of my favorites, Greek Salad. The tomatoes were so hard that my fork could not pick them up, like apples. The small cucumbers and microscopic onion peels did nothing to enhance the flavor of the tasteless dressing. We ordered the eggplant spread served with pita that was warm and rubbery, inedible. Was it microwaved?? The steak was good, served with truffle fries, but the presentation was atrocious. Might have suited a fast food restaurant, but not where the setting and prices represent fine dining.
We were nearly finished when the server finally approached our table to ask how we were doing. We showed him the tomatoes that were inedible and he came back with a plate of tomatoes, I guess intended for dessert.
The manager was walking around but never approached our table, even after we shared our disappointment with the server. Frankly, I don't know how Thasos stays in business. Perhaps people like hanging out at the large bar or tourists come once and never return. We will not return, that's for sure.
Excellent food atmosphere and service
Repeatably excellent restaurant. Food is always outstanding, the ambience excellent, and the service great and dependable. Probably the best restaurant in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.
Every visit has been 5 stars! Consistantly consistant! Delicious.
My very favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!!! The food is consistantly great, service very attentive, ambiance is beautiful and the staff are so friendly!
We’ve had this food before, but on this night ... the fish was not fresh , the pasta was bland and the service awful
Great authentic Greek Food, great ambience, and excellent service.
Excellent food and service. Thank you for a lovely evening
Happy they are back this is our favorite restaurant in Ft Lauderdale
Love this place! Awesome ambiance and food! Wait staff hustles!
Once you get in the door to this beautiful Greek restaurant, you feel like you are on an island in Greece. Although the decor is monochromatic in white, there are many touches that give it warmth.
The food is outstanding. We ordered saganaki (melted kefalograviera cheese) and grilled octopus as appetizers and enjoyed them to the last bite. Three of us ordered moussaka which was delicious and very authentic. One of us had grilled salmon, which the chef cooked to perfection and without salt at our request. Another had the kleftiko lamb stew (cooked in parchment paper) which was a big hit. The lamb was tender and cooked to perfection. The desserts of ekmek kataifi and glactoboureko were scrumptious.
The owner, Sophia, makes you feel like you are having dinner in her home. The staff is very professional and well-trained. All this makes going to Thasos a dining experience, not just eating out.
Excellent taramosalata - Fantastic Moussaka ( made with beef and not with lamb)- Delicious Branzino.
Comparable to the finest in Athens , Vouliagmeni ...
Loved it so much I went two nights in a row .
Compliments to George ( Yeorgos) 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very over priced, and service is bla. Decor very beautiful, just wish the food and service was better. What a shame, won’t be coming back.
Excellent food & service
Great atmosphere, service, staff and food!
I discovered Thasos soon after it opened. And was VERY impressed with it then and now. The decor is very different and very beautiful. Chic and modern, but not too modern. The food is scrumptious. The servers are friendly and bright. It could get no better. I returned again this past weekend for a 2nd visit and was even more impressed the second time around.
The restaurant is very relaxing, decorated beautifully
Staff was excellent
Server rarely refilled water w/o asking. Never discussed food choices. He was non interested in our party. Last table so we felt he wanted to go and upset that he was closer. Barely talked almost introverted. Food amazing. We love the manager. We love this place but would never sit with this server again. You had to ask him questions to even engage him. I think he’s in the wrong career! Food is some of the best Greek food we’ve ever had at any Greek restaurant in the world!
Food was tasty and the ambiance is excellent. One of our favourite places to go.
