Thames Landing brings you modern New England fare—centered around seafood, local meat, and seasonal vegetables—in an airy, bright dining room and on our expansive garden patio.

Menu includes appetizers like salt cod croquettes, mussels and deviled eggs, a variety of salads and entrees that range from lobster rolls and smashed burgers to lobster dinners and NY strip steaks.

A private dining room remains in place and a cozy expanded outdoor seating area is now available.

    Recently dined her for Fathers Day brunch. The restaurant was proactive and called us to ask if we wanted outdoor seating due to the nicer than anticipated weather ( we did!). The menu had variety but want overwhelming large. The service was quick and efficient and the food was delicious. The corned beef hash was a stand out as well as the eggs Benedict. The location is gorgeous as well. We will be back!

    What a pleasant surprise! Our dinner at Thames Landing was outstanding. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious- top quality, fresh ingredients, expertly prepared and presented. The fish chowder was the best I have ever had. The fish and chips was excellent and so was the full rack of ribs. What a range of excellent cooking! Service was exemplary, and all staff were very friendly. It is definitely worth the walk to this side of town for a great dining experience.

    Our group of 5 had a very nice experience on a rainy night. Nice salads and mussels for appetizers, beautiful fresh fish entrees, and a crisp Chablis. Friendly and attentive service, so much so that the owner drove us home through the rain when the meal was all over

    Pasta da jour - the one with steak tips and peas and mushrooms and Parmesan and something else. Incredible. Best pasta dish I’ve had in a longggggg time. Service was also very good. Overall 10/10 experience.

    The wait person was excellent and the host (and owner) was warm and welcoming. This restaurant is an example of how great Portland is in a number of ways (we live locally), such as value, atmosphere and great service. What could have been better: the food came out a bit too fast and was good, not outstanding, and the drinks were light (not very strong and the wine pour was light). But overall, a great experience.

    Thames Landing is very convenient to the Ferry terminal and that is why I chose it. The menu is fairly simple and straightforward. I had a wedge salad and I ordered deviled eggs as a side dish to accompany it. The salad was good but nothing special. The eggs were very tasty. My husband ordered a beet, arugula and goat cheese salad and a cheeseburger with fries. His salad was delicious and the goat cheese was lemony and interesting. The fries were hot and tasty. We ate outdoors because the weather was warm. The outdoor dining space has a bit of an ocean view but is not particularly attractive. Our server was attentive and pleasant. It’s a good place to eat in Portland but not one of the top spots.

    This is a new restaurant of less than a year old in a new building on the 1st floor with a very nice bar, nice surroundings inside and a large outdoor seating area. Overall, an impressive site. Our waiter, Joshua, was very friendly and attentive and the food was very good as well as their blueberry pir at the end. Certainly, recommend this place to all couples and families.

    New restaurant on a Monday night so not many people. The waiter was fantastic and alone. The food was terrific

    We had a great time. The wedge salad with sliced steak was delicious. Nice Cosmo - not too sweet. Smash burger was good, fish and chip were so crunchy once we quickly slide the fried fish off the French fries so all stays crunchy.
