Love this place for any occasion
Great options and excellent food! Very good service.
It was a nice place. The tables are placed close together so be mindful of your neighbor(s). The food is really good and they cater to people with allergies. They staff is very friendly. I would definitely go again
Thai72 was a great dining experience. The menu was quite varied for a Thai restaurant, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was prompt and non-intrusive. We were there early in the evening so it was very quiet and personal. The decor is clean and crisp with a classy touch of Thai! We had a delicious meal that was prepared to our liking. We will visit again!
Very good place, delicious food, fair price. Nice staff.
Excellent food. Good size portions. Friendly staff. Very good service.
First visit; great options and ambiance for future visits.
Good spot. Great food and service
We had a great experience for our New Year's Eve dinner. Food was really tasty, and the staff were kind and quick. Thanks!
Lovely food, very good service, attractive setting, and reasonable ptices—what more can you ask for?
Very nice staff. We stayed a long time and they were fine with that. Food was delicious.
The food was very tasty. Everyone in our party of 5 really enjoyed it. I would give it a 4.5 if that was an option.
Excellent thai food in a very nice atmosphere. Good service and excellent lunch menu. Will return
From Day 1 when Thai 72 opened it has been a neighborhood gem. Very professional service, extensive menu and nice sized portions. Make sure you make a reservation as they are always busy.
Very nice place....attentive and friendly service. Had early reservation for a pre-show meal. We had the 5-Star Dumplings and Soft Summer Rolls to start.........dumplings outstanding, loved the sauce for the Summer Rolls which were tasty as well. For dinner my wife had a Calamari/Curry special that she said was outstanding. I went simple, pineapple fried rice with chicken. The rice was cooked perfectly with a great taste including tender chicken. We had a couple of drinks and a great time. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. As a side note they seemed to be doing a huge delivery business if you can't make it there in person.
Good food and friendly service. Waited a long time for our table to be ready but it can be tricky when dining with a big group. Good option in the area.
Best Thai food in NYC! Great price and service.
Lunch with a friend turned into me discovering my love of a papaya salad and now I’m craving it like crazy!
Please note that our reservation was for a prime time on a Friday night in New York City.
Even with an 8:00 reservation we were not seated for fifteen minutes, not that bad, however the host station near the door got to be very crowded (but it was a Friday night).
We had a good table and attentive staff. Orders for drinks were quickly in front of us. One member of our group lives in LA and found the menu to be more expansive than Thai restaurants in LA.
Appetizers arrived quickly and we vacuumed them up. The main courses were nicely plated and tasty.
One of our party lives in the neighborhood, and didn't know of Thai72, he will be coming back.
We love this restaurant! Amazing food, friendly service beautiful relaxing atmosphere.
The four of us loved dining here and will come again for sure. We were seated right at the time of our reservation!! Loved that and everything else too!
Food is consistently good. Staff is super friendly. Best to make a reservation
This is a great Thai spot. They have a lunch special ($12+) including on weekends where you get an appetizer, soup or salad, and a main dish. The dishes are still large. Everything I have tried here is delicious!
I’ve been here many times but this is the first time that we had to wait fir our table even though we had a reservation. Understandable since this place is always filled and the food is outstanding, The servers are attentive and charming. Done if our favorite appetizers are the chive pancakes, pork skewers and the duck crepes! Leftovers of our entrees were easily warmed in the microwave. Can’t wait till the next time!
Our meal was fine and service was quick and attentive. The restaurant was conducive to conversation - not noisy at all - and the staff got us out in time to get to our Lincoln Center show. Extensive menu, with all the American Thai restaurant favorites and some unexpected specials.
Great food, decent service!
Great variety of foods... best bets are the classiic Thai dishes. Apetizers very good, especially the dumplings and lettuce wraps. Only dish would not recommend is the fried snapper. Soups, braised port and pad tai were all great. Vegan member of our group was very happy with the many menu possibilities.
The food was very good and so was the service. The restaurant, however, was extremely warm which made the experience less enjoyable.
This has become our favorite local place. Food is always good, however because it has become so popular, noise levels can be intolerable. the
This is now my "go-to" Thai restaurant on the Upper West Side. The food is always great and so is the service. I also love the atmosphere they've created. It is welcoming with lots of charm. I highly recommend this Thai72.
A friend recommended this place. One of those, "if you're ever in New York..." and boy, am I glad I took my friend's advice to visit Thai 72. The menu was extensive- it was hard to choose what to try. The food was wonderful!
It was a great dining experience for a cold, windy afternoon to be in a cozy and relaxing restaurant like Thai 72.
The food was tasty and flavorful.
We requested for warm water instead of cold water since my throat was bad, but the waitress refused and I thought that was strange. She insisted that I ordered tea to have warm water.
The food was expertly prepared. It was a delicious surprise.
Very fancy restaurant with friendly staff who were sometimes a little inattentive. Good was top-notch, and we would definitely go again!
Food is consistently good. Service is excellent and all staff is friendly
Amazing vibe, amazing food and amazing service. I will return over and over. Best tom yum seafood pad Thai I have ever had. My date had the Thai fried rice with sliced crispy duck on top. Delicious!
i liked the ambiance and the service. the food was disappointing and lacking flavor.
I thought the pad Thai was pretty standard, not too sweet as some others have commented. The wait staff were pretty brisk but not in a rude way, and they were kind enough to let our group of 4 linger after we paid our bill — it was a Friday night but there were some tables open so not too crazy!
