Served with chili soy sauce.
Sauteed flat noodles with eggs, onions, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots in spicy basil sauce. Hot and spicy.
3 Flavors Red Snapper
Crispy fried whole fish seasoned with tamarind, chilies, garlic and cilantro. Hot and spicy.
Everything was delicious. Happy hour was a plus too.
The service was very offhand—they seemed understaffed. As usual, apps were great but my main course was tepid, and the broccoli was clearly on its last legs. Also, the lunch special included salad or soup, neither of which I was offered! Disappointing compared to other meals at Thai 72.
The food was really good, the service was great, definitely I’ll come back!
Excellent Thai food and very dog friendly outdoor seating
Cocktails okay; should have just had the beer. Food was great. A little bit noisy.
Excellent food - the portions were BIG and the flavors spot on. We had the pork chops, crispy duck and curry shrimp - they were all expertly prepared. The service was great too (and totally unobtrusive). Highly recommended.
Great place! Awesome find! Love these smaller but nice quality type places! Hipster and freash
Great place--excellent diverse menu. Great appetizers--chive pancake, veggie dumplings and drunken noodles. Excellent service, nice ambiance--fun!
Love it at Thai72. Food excellent. Great staff! Good prices. Highly recommend!
I’d researched Thai restaurants & chose Thai72 because of its reviews & they ACTUALLY USE CRAB in their Crab Rangoon. I had high hopes. We were not disappointed. The service was good, restaurant clean, noise level allowed the 4 of us in my party to easily converse & the food was OUTSTANDING! We WILL be back! The Crab Rangoon only disappointed in its smaller than usual size but it packed flavor & CRAB & was delicious. We also had summer rolls & curry puffs for appetizers. Everyone loved all 3 of the appetizers! I asked for a not on the menu, traditional green salad with ginger dressing — it was huge & as fresh as I could hope for, as were ALL the salads. Excellent freshly prepared, tasty food! One tip might be to alert patrons of “hot factor” on some dishes as a couple people had meals much spicer than expected & we’re all regular Thai food eaters. 5 ⭐️ from us!
This Upper West Side restaurant has an extensive menu, delicious food, and prompt, attentive service. It's a winner!
Wonderful food and wonderful server. A real asset to the neighborhood! Great food choices and decent prices. Will be going here often!
Decent food for the price. Some dishes could have been more flavorful but overall a pretty good meal.
great place--well run, efficient. Excellent, diverse menu with lots of vegetarian, fish and meat choices--noodles/curries, rice too. Had great drunken noodles, calamari, seafood noodles, appetizers.
Very reasonably priced and delicious!! We loved it.
We were looking for a fresh & light Asian fare and Thai 72 was the perfect fit. We sat outside in a very nice semi airy space. The waitress was very attentive & upbeat. The menu offered a great variety and we had the summer spring rolls- so light & tasty. Then we had a mango avocado salad split between me & my husband as it was a big portion. We finished with tofu delight & green spring vegetables. The sauces were so delicious. We each had a glass of wine & an iced tea. Our bill was so reasonable - we can’t wait to come back here. This is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss 👍
Lovely selection and Happy Hour was great!
Food was delicious and waitress was great.
We really liked the ambience and my date loved the duck! We definitely will be coming back.
I appreciate the restaurant’s hospitality and patience while my guest arrived 15 min before the kitchen closed.
Still they did not cease to amaze me. The food was amazing!
A perfect place for a great meal, the food is outstanding. We loved the ambiance, food to remember!
Best Thai food I’ve had in as long as I can remember. And I eat a lot of Thai. Big win to have found Thai 72. I will be back!
We loved it! Great atmosphere, delicious food with lots to choose from!
The food was great—lots of variety and good prices. The drinks weren’t great..my friend sent her drink back twice because it wasn’t made correctly. I’d say stick to simple drinks or wine!
The food was delicious. It was a little noisier than we would have liked. But, every table was full, so I suppose it was to be expected. Would definitely go back.
It was a very good experience: great food and service. The place is a bit tiny and tables are very close one each other. Great value though
I had a wonderful experience. The food and staff are very friendly and food was absolutely delicious. I plan to return in the very near future and try more thing off the menu.
Nice little spot serving tasty food. Only downside was the noise level, I would recommend this place on weekdays. You should definitely give it a shot. Cheers!
Subpar overly sweet Thai food. Nice ambiance but staff lacks training. The whole experience felt Very sterile. Our entree’s came while we were still eating the appetizers and there wasn’t enough room on the table. One of the main dishes was cold and had to be redone which resulted in my wife eating for 15 min while I sat there with no food. Waitress didn’t apologize and never checked on us. Definitely would not return here.
Nice place. I would come again. Nice place. I would come again. Nice place. I would come again. Nice place. I would come again.
The restaurant is conveniently located and the food is very good. If you are near the area, I would highly recommend. The ambiance is just right too!!!
Excellent atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. Food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and definitely NOT over-priced for its NYC location.
Portion could be a b it more generous but was tasty
The noise level was deafening. The tables are jammed up next to one another and it was near impossible to hear my dining companion. As a result, all customers were having to yell at each other to be heard. The food and service were very good, but the sound level made the overall experience totally unpleasant.
Thai72 deserves its good reviews. The ambiance was pleasant, the service was excellent, the food was mostly excellent (we've had better pad thai), and the prices were fair. This is a restaurant to seriously consider when visiting Lincoln Center; it is a 10-minute walk and is not crowded.
We love Thai food & have tried many local restaurants, food here is by far the best. We asked for hot & it was just how it should be, large portions too, took the extra home & had for lunch the next day & it tasted even better! This is definitely our go to choice from now on.
Great food and service. Not only your typical thai cuisine but some nice dishes not available in other thai restaurants. Fair portions and good menu choices.
Truly a lovely dining experience - from the moment we came in the service was impeccable and the food was amazing !! Highly recommend- want to go back and try some other menu items!!
Thai 72 is my favorite Thai restaurant. I like spicy but not burning hot. Their green curry is just perfect! It is very reasonably priced but very nice ambiance for special occasions. I highly recommend if you are uws!
AMAZING FOOD AND SEVICE!
