Ate here prior to a show. The food was good and the food came out fast which was appreciative since we were running late. I’d recommend this Resturant and I would go back again
Great Thai food near Lincoln Center. I would recommend a reservation anytime from 6:00 to 8:00, but if you don’t have one, it is still well worth the wait. The food is fantastic and the ambience is nice. We will definitely be back.
Ordered calamari and chives pancakes. The pancakes were delicious, the calamari too chewy.
Thai72 was so accommodating when one person in my party was going to be late they were kindly able push my reservation a half our later. My friend was still late but we were seated and could start ordering appetizers and drinks. Everyone was so nice and the place was super busy. The food was delicious. I truly appreciate how they took care of us!
In town for a conference. Saw good reviews and had to try it out. Good food, nice, small, cozy spot. Good cocktails also. We had great service.
They said they did not have hot water to make tea. How is this possible when they have gas to make food.
Great neighborhood gem, I'm particularly fond of the soups and the mango avocado salad
We were dealing with a gluten allergy at the table and the server was both knowledgeable and helpful. Very reassuring. And the food was great!
An expensive and noisy fast food place. The quality of food and service has gone down. The server took the order and never came back until we asked for the check. The duck was dry and the presentation was sloppy.
Everything was delicious and service was good once we were seated. However to get seated took some time, in spite of having a reservation. I was going with my daughter and her friend. They are 13. It was a Friday. Another group of 4 came in after us and got seated first, and they did not have a reservation. I think that the hostess took a look at our group and assumed we were not as profitable, and so we became low priority and were made to wait about 15 minutes. Once we were seated and I ordered, the service got very attentive, but because we were spending $$. $50 a head.
Great food! Cozy place and good service. Amazing apetizers, particularly the thai dumplings!
I made reservations for post game after an early show at the Beacon, for me and 4 co-workers. After a short walk, we arrived just before 7 and it was still realtively quiet in the dining room. By the end of our stay it was completely full and quite lively....and we could see why, even on a mild October Monday night. Great selection of Thai favorites and specilaty dishes all well prepared, decent portions. We opted to share some apps and then share dinners. My guests all raved about how much they loved it and would want to return. Oh, and the cocktails were also delicious, especially the one made with Strawberry and Bourbon!
Nice restaurant with good Thai food. Prices OK. Moderately noisy, not awful...there was a
boom-boom musical program when we came in. I asked them to turn it down and they did.
Nice restaurant. Appetizers were good. Main dishes were so salty. Had to drink water until the next morning
Leckeres Thailändisches Essen. Auch ein paar außergewöhnliche Gerichte
Overall the food was very good too saucy and too sweet next time I’ll ask them less sugar and a little less sauce. Very very rich.
Thai72 never disappoints. Took out some friends and they kept raving about how delicious the food was. We love it here, as one of our local spots, and always look forward to returning!
Perfect. Good food, excellent service, warm and comforting environment. Went with my daughter and mother and we could all talk and hear easily. Would highly recommend.
In my opinion this is the BEST Thai restaurant in NYC. The service is always prompt and professional. The food always great. The lunch special is a great deal. I would recommend Thai 72 to anyone who enjoys great Thai food.
Pad Thai is delicious!
We went for a pre-opera dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The chive pancakes were great and all out entrees delicious. One of our family is vegan and and we pleased by the 100% vegan options. Lovely all the way around!
Service was a little slow at the beginning but then was very good after that. Food was outstanding.
Thai food with a twist! There were mostly your standard thai noodle and rice dishes on the menu, but also some different types of entrees with different flavors and ingredients that you don't always see. Highly recommend the appetizer special on the first page that features a variety of all different yummy things. Food was all served very hot, beautifully presented and with a smile. The cocktail list was a bit limited and I found it wrong that a thai restaurant couldn't make a mai tai, other cocktails were beautiful and tasty but not strong enuf for the price. The restaurant did have a good wine selection.
This place was great! Great food, attentive and speed service. Five stars!!! :)
Dios was amazing at this place! So was their iced Thai tea. Definitely recommend it.
While the service was good the noise level prevented any conversation . Since this was a get together and conversation was important we were disappointed in the choice of Thai 72.
Nice local restaurant - good food, atmosphere. Service could be a bit more attentive.
Friendly, good service & good food. We have come for lunch which is a good value but mostly we are here for dinner. We always have papaya salad, appetizers then entrees. Sometimes we get the assorted appetizer plate otherwise we pick chive pancake & 1 of their dumplings. Entrees on daily specials are good.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Friendly service, excellent food and solid value. Dumplings, spring rolls, curries, and other dishes all superb. Highly recommend.
Thai72 is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood!
Thai72, although the décor is a little austere, it is elegant and clean with a lot of wood finishes. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient. The food was delicious and portions just right. Our guests were very happy. We were pleased to discover that Thai72 was a worthy replacement to our fine neighborhood Thai restaurant in the same location Lime Leaf. Now all they need is the jazz musicians to return.
Food was amazing! The service was great. I’m definitely going back. The menu has so many options that looked good, it was hard to choose. But I was very satisfied with what I picked, it was delicious
Love love the food there. My favorite are the drunken noodles and the Thai iced tea. Also love their cocktails !
Good food, large menu.
Great Lunch Deal
Loved this place. This Thai restaurant stands out for the quality of the food and service. There are many vegetarian options that are absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and very helpful. The decor is very attractive and the tables are well spaced: we will be back very soon.
Food was dissappointing. The calamari appetizer was completely tasteless. The curry although tasty was buoyed by large amounts of unnecessary sugar in the sauce which masks perhaps it's ordinary nature.
Food was delicious and service was great
Our waiter, Jar, was exemplary, so kind and attentive. Food was delicious although the pad thai was a bit too sweet. Will definitely eat here again !!
Thanks! Great food and drink options, great service!
In town for a weekend and on the hunt for a new Thai restaurant to try. This did not disappoint! Waitstaff were attentive without being intrusive, our drinks were delicious, and the food was better than the average Thai place. It’s rare that service, food, and ambience (not too loud/crowded) all come together perfectly—but it did here for us and we would absolutely come again.
