    Chef Annie’s love for cooking started when she moved to the United States in 2012. She thinks about food all day; what it looks like, what it tastes like, and most of all, how it makes people feel connected and content. For Annie, cooking is a passion, a legacy, and a bridge. Cooking is a way for her to feel joy honoring her mother and her first home by serving the people in her new community. That is why Annie and her husband Ryan, a Rochester native, created ThaiPop. It is a labor of love to bring two homes and two worlds together in one place, to honor all who came before by serving all who gather today and tomorrow.

    Food was good, service was OK but prices were not cheap and was charged $3.00 for what I assumed was an additional small amount of rice for leftovers and 3% credit card fee. I don't believe these charges were necessary in view of the fact overall prices were on the high side. Total lunch tab with one drink each for two diners, two entrees, a 20% tip and the extras outlined above came to $85. Pretty steep for lunch.

    The food was good but all of our dishes were lacking vegetables only having meat, sauce and rice. The flavors were great but a little more substance would have made it so much better!

    Excellent food and fun, cozy ambience. Noise level was high…just because of talking, not because of loud music. The chairs, however, were extremely uncomfortable. The chairs were TOO high for the high tables and very short in length to support one’s legs (and I’m 5’6”). It was an awkward way to sit and try to enjoy dinner. Other than that…great menu selections and our server was great.

    The authentic thai dishes created by Chef Annie are deliciously amazing. Every bite or mouthful makes your Palate sing with delight. Ratha our server and the rest of the staff are amazingly friendly professional and kind. They represent the best of the best customer service experience . You’ll definitely enjoy whatever choice you make from the menu and your palate will thank you.

    I thought since we made a reservation we would get a table in the nicer part of the restaurant but they walked past those areas to take us into the back room that was not as nice and had no music. The food was great although very spicy -without any warnings. They have a limited amount of items that are gluten free.

    ThaiPop has been my favorite restaurant in town since they started as a cute pop-up restaurant. I come hear for my birthday, anniversary, and when I want to treat my special friends. Today was their second year anniversary and I ordered their special dish, the Get-together tray, which is a humongous collection of their most popular dishes. Everything was so flavorful, just amazing! But in the end we needed to take home about the half of the food. No worries. Our server brought us various types of takeout containers, even the little containers for sauces and a big bag to put everything into. This place never disappoints me. Truly a gem.

    Some innovative dishes we hadn’t seen before - don’t miss the Noodles & Brussels (if you’d told me 5 years ago that I would order - much less praise - Brussels sprouts…). Hard to choose among great options. Spice level can be intense. Attractive drinks menu - cocktails, local beers, wine. Attentive and friendly servers. Good value for money.

    Surprisingly good Thai food in Rochester. Serving staff was friendly and helpful. House curry and brisket in coconut cream sauce were both tasty and excellent. We will definitely return.

    One of our favorite restaurants in Rochester. The food is unique, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Our toddlers loved the pad cha, sticky wings, and passion fruit cake. We loved that we could customize the spice level to make it manageable for our kids. We have ordered multiple times from the restaurant and the food is always great!
