    Chef Annie’s love for cooking started when she moved to the United States in 2012. She thinks about food all day; what it looks like, what it tastes like, and most of all, how it makes people feel connected and content. For Annie, cooking is a passion, a legacy, and a bridge. Cooking is a way for her to feel joy honoring her mother and her first home by serving the people in her new community. That is why Annie and her husband Ryan, a Rochester native, created ThaiPop. It is a labor of love to bring two homes and two worlds together in one place, to honor all who came before by serving all who gather today and tomorrow.

    It was not my best experience at this Thai restaurant. What most likely started off in the wrong direction was the attitude of the waitress. She was very curt with her replies to our questions, and then bothered to say that this was an authentic Thai restaurant. I am not really sure what she meant by that comment, but I can tell you have dined in Thai restaurants all of the US and in Europe. The majority of them serve a ginger based salad. Many of them also have what I refer to as Fresh Spring rolls, typically filled with shrimp or in some cases chicken. Bottom line here is that I do not think I will return to the Thai restaurant in the near future.

    Fantastic food-- love the green beans and tofu! Best dessert-- mango sticky rice, as good as anywhere I've had in Thailand!

    Had an awesome dinner out for my birthday complete with mocktails & cocktails for our group of friends. While they didn’t do anything special for my birthday, the food, drinks, & service were outstanding.

    When I visit the Mayo yearly for my check up! I go to Thai pop last night in town. Truly amazing cuisine and hand crafted drinks.

    The noodles and sprouts were unbelievable. Not sure if I’ll be able to order anything other than that again. Love this place.
