This was our first visit & I see why it gets such good reviews! Our food was excellent & the staff very friendly! The only issue we had was service. We waited quite a while for someone to take our drink order & we sat without tea in our glasses several times.

Thai Opal is one of our favorite restaurants. I've loved everything I've tried although I am especially fond of the Garlic Stir-Fried with Shrimp. Lots of big garlic slices. But what really sets Thai Opal apart is the attention to details. The beautiful plating of the food, the comfy cushions on the bench seats, the hot towels before the meal - it's obvious that the owner really cares about the restaurant and wants to be sure guests have a great experience. Also, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup is tasty and my better half often gets the Panang Curry, which he loves. Highly recommend!
