    My friends and I really enjoyed a recent visit to T&R. Our dinner, from the Winter Restaurant Week menu, was delicious and creative. We sat in a small dining area near the open kitchen— request another table area if that kind of noise bothers you; I enjoyed watching the chefs in action. Service at T&R was welcoming and super-professional. The team of employees that visited our table were exceptional. In these days of high prices, T&R is no exception. You’ll spend a lot for appetizer, entree and dessert, and much more if you like cocktails and wine.

    Service was outstanding, the hostess gracious, the bartenders truly gifted, the ambience lovely, the multi-course meal exceptional. Chefs Brian and Bradley are the best in the business. Pastry Chef is exquisitely talented. We are so lucky to have T&R amongst our midsts.

    The restaurant is very noisy. It is best for small parties. Large parties can not easily converse. People with hearing difficulties would not find dining here comfortable. The food was good, not exceptional, but the brusel ceasar salad is good. The bass was wonderfully prepared. The side dish of grits was delicious. The servers did well, but the kitchen seemed to really slow things down. The restaurant was full, but that should be an ideal situation and one that a well-organized kitchen is prepared for. Especially since the private room and the outdoor seating were not occupied.

    Love Thatcher and Rye. Food as always was wonderful. I especially liked dessert. Both Sticky Toffee Cake and the pear dessert were unique and delicious! Thatcher and Rye never disappoints.

    From start to finish it was fantastic! The tuna tartare with egg pudding, incredible. I do not usually order chicken, but the bbq chicken was tender and delicious, the pear dessert tied it all together. It was absolutely one of the best meals I ever had.

    My only reason for four stars is that two dishes came out at the same time - a charcuterie plate and tuna tartare. Both were excellent, but I would have preferred one at a time. The food was great! This restaurant is hitting on all cylinders! Sitting in Chef's Kitchen gives one a view of all the activities and I still don't know how they do it! We'll be back!

    Food was superb, as were the cocktails. We felt a bit abandoned by our server at times, took at least 20 minutes to get drinks. But all in all was a fine meal, we will go back.

    Regular customers at Thacher and Rye. Food and service was exceptional. We went to many Michelin stars restaurants including in Europe. So far Thacher and Rye is one our favorites.

    My husband and I split the wedge salad and ordered two pasta dishes. Every dish was delectable. The service was swift, unobtrusive yet friendly. The little touches of a chef-inspired appetizer and a small, sweet bite at the end of the meal added to the pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

    My wife had the chicken dumplings (their style), unusual and delicious. I had the ribeye, cooked to perfection. I always recommend this place, expensive but worth it all the way.

    We were there for brunch, and the food was phenomenal. The skillet coffee cake we wanted to order another to take with us. Atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful, and the service was good, though spotty when changing over from brunch to dinner. I highly recommend.

    Super disappointing. Food was cooked very well but the flavor was NOT there. Super bland. I do not think I would recommend unless you want to go a get a fancy drink before dinner this spot might be for you. Other than that, it is not worth the hype. Reminded me of a restaurant in a casino where everything could’ve been mass produced. Over all 2.5 out of 5 stars

    Over all we had a very nice birthday dinner. The staff was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We were trying to challenge our pallets a little and tried the Sheep's Milk Ricotta. This dish has anchovies in it and if you don't like them I'd recommend steer away from it. The trout part of it was good and if you like salmon and trout you will love it. Don't be afraid of the trout roe. It has little flavor and seems to be there just for looks. At the beginning they brought out two crackers with cauliflower hummus. Those turned out to be the second best flavor profile on of the evening. They need to make that thing a full appetizer. The Spiced Shrimp was very well prepared. Five nice large shrimp are very well spiced served with what I believe was a house made cocktail sauce and a horseradish dip. For Second course we shard the Scallops. Super good with tai flavor profile and a little bit of sweet and heat. Highly recommended. Loved this one and was the best dish of the night. We went conservative at end and got the Bacon Cheese Burger. It's a burger but it was very well prepared and super juicy. We ordered medium and medium well and they came out a step under cooked. They were medium and medium rare. Fortunately we are not terribly picky and we both found them to be very good. Nice high quality thick cut bacon and all seasoned very well. It came with fries and what seemed to me a house made ketchup which was less sweet and more savory then typical which I found a very nice change. It's not cheap. Without desert and a couple drinks it was $174 w/o tip.

    Overall the Sunday brunch was fine. Burger with fries were very tasty. Sausage and biscuits was generous with a piece of breaded chicken. Oysters were okay but have had better at seafood focused restaurants. Service was really disappointing and could have been more attentive.

    Superb service and delicious menu; we had the radicchio salad and fries for appetizer, and our main courses were bass and pork loin. Wonderful presentation and the tastes were amazing and out of this world. Loved the combination of sweet and savory with the radicchio salad. The Hoppin John that came as one of the sides with the pork loin was rich and flavorful. Pork loin prepared just right with a buttery sear on the outside. Highly recommend Thacher and Rye!

    While the food was good as it had been previously our waiter was not. When he came to our table, he asked if he could just return the menus and then come back to get our order. But he kept us waiting to order about ten minutes while he read his phone, talked to colleagues, set an empty table and who knows what else. We also remembered and saw other guests getting complimentary amusee bouche. So when he returned to pick up salad plates, I asked him and he said he forgot. So he went back and brought them. Isn’t it his job to know the restaurant protocol? This guy needs to go and find another line of work. He clearly does not want to be there

    This is our go to special occasion dinner spot. The food is next level. Not huge portions but each meal left us filled. When we arrived the hostedt was a bit off putting. A smile and a welcome would've been nice. But everything else makes this place awesome.
