TGI FRIDAYS - Willow Grove
The waitress was so proffessional and always smiled. It was great haven't been there in year's. Loved it ty.my birthday was awesome.
Severer was awful. Food was cold. Was given our credit card slip with no pen. Had to go to hostess for one. My daughter in laws drink didn’t come for a half hour. Bartender was mia. Then we watched it sit there for 10 minutes. Tables that came in way after us got served before us. Won’t be back.
Worst experience ever. Service was so bad that we actually wanted to leave.
Please pay attention to the size of your patrons. It is embarrassing to ask for a table, instead of a booth, as it is obvious that I wouldn't fit in it. If a table is offered as a choice, I will ALWAYS choose it.
When I gave them my reservation name, they asked if I made the reservation online, and then said they don’t get those reservations and the wait would be about 30 minutes ???
Please work out this issue or remove this location as an option for open table.
Service was great and the food was affordable. We enjoyed ourselves and would go back to this location again
The wait for food was way too long. By the time it came, I didn’t want it. The waitress was great, she was the only positive thing of our dining experience. I had a party of 7, and ALL others felt the same as I did!!!
Drinks took forever. Waited 15 minutes for 2nd drink. Ate whole meal before it came.
Very quick seating, great staff and delicious food
They did not honor my reservation. Said they don’t take reservations from OpenTable even know it was on her screen.Did not stay to be put on a waiting list when a large number of tables where open. Will not eat or try to eat at this place.
The senior couple behind me was noisy, so I just decided to leave & take my food with me.
Stopped by for a quick dinner abd vc ate at bar for happy hour! Special included pick 2 withv2 sides for only $14.95. Service was good despite being busy!
When we arrived we were told they do not honor open table reservations.
I made a reservation to this establishment and when I got there they told me that there was a wait because the online reservations was down! If it was down then it shouldn’t of been listed on the website. I’m never coming here ever again!
I reserved a table on open table and when we arrived for our scheduled time we were told that they do not take reservations through open table and we would have to wait. That wait time was 20-25 minutes. We decided to stay since we made the reservation. Our waitress was outstanding. I wish I could remember her name because she was amazing. The food was ok. The food came out fast which is good when dining with kids. The bathrooms were disguising. One stall was not working and the other 3 were so dirty that we used the mall restrooms after dinner.

The best TGI FRIDAYS ever because of an exceptional, warm, engaging, friendly, on-task server. I believe her name was Bridget. We were so impressed that I called the manager over to compliment her (and him)! We need more people such as that. Thanks!
Told me they didn’t do reservations when we got there
Took very long (15 minutes) to take our order .. Made a reservation for two and got seated quickly but sat for a long time before someone came to our table and ended up wasting my food because it was salty. But other than that it was ok.
I’m not rushing back. The t v commercial never ending apps are not what they appear. When you get there the price is higher and they give you a choice of three different kinds. Not the best ones. When I received my platter it didn’t even come close to what was pictured. It had a very gamy taste. We ordered dessert and one our guests was forgotten about. A plate of vanilla ice cream is hard to remember. The Oreo ice cream we ordered was very over priced. Many of the dishes were priced differently when you got to the restaurant. It will be quite a while for me to return
Put in a reservation through open table. When I arrived was told that their reservation system/iPad was down and I would have to wait 30 minutes for a table
This location has often been hit and miss, but this meal was a hit, everything was fresh, hot and tasty.
Do not put cheese on the vegan burger

Made reservation. Got there. They're not on Open Table and there was a 35 minute wait. They need to be removed!!!
We never made it to a table. We made our reservation for 8:15. When we arrived we were told by the hostess they did not except open table reservations, but would push us to the top of the wait list. So I asked how long the wait was, and she proceeded to tell me an hour. Not sure why this place would be on Open Table and not except reservations. They told us they would bring the manager up, but we waited another 10 minutes. He never came to the front. We left and had a very nice meal at a different restaurant.
What an an awful and upsetting experience!
I reserved our seat on OpenTable to make sure the restaurant was still open. We waited about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged, after a few employees walked right by us. Informed her of my reservations and she said they didn't do reservations... ?
The start of this meal was touching a dirty, greasy menu! I ordered a slushie, was told she had to get it from the bar, 10 minutes later. It was certainly NOT a slushie! It was juice in crushed ice.
I ordered spinach dip for my appetizer and my son ordered potato skins. I could not even eat it because the chips were burnt and hard, the dip wasn't bad. I didn't get a chance to say anything to the waitress because the next time she came back was to give us our food then quickly walked away again. The next time she came to our table was to deliver our check, while we were still eating!
I ordered a steak and my son ordered ribs. My steak was overcooked and had a nice chunk of butter on it, which for some reason I was charged extra for! The broccoli was burnt and the mashed potatoes were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out all day!
A man started sweeping around our table and then right under our table, I told my son to stop eating and we will take our food to go. He complained Ave said "he was hungry" I had to explain how you shouldn't sweep with food around because you are sweeping floor particles into the air which then ends up in our food. God only knows what those floor particles consist of!
It was incredibly upsetting to waste almost $100 on food that ended up in the trash. Not to mention that I had to then go home and cook something. I could have bought almost an entire week's worth of dinner for the $62 I ultimately wasted! It's extremely disappointing to work so hard for my money to only have it wasted by going to a restaurant where the employees just want to be done with their shift and not care about their customers.
First time we went here the service was HORRIBLE. We left after 45 mins and only getting our drinks. This time was much better. Our server seemed to be MIA for a little bit after dinner before our check, but it wasn't that bad. Food was good. it's fridays, so it is what it is. I'd give it another chance before I say the service issue the first time was an isolated thing or not.

The restaurant was not well kept at all. They didn’t honor my open table reservation. Hostess was slow and not friendly. Bathroom filthy with no toilet paper in at least 3 stalls.
Multiple tables were open both empty and with dirty dishes and food.
A fight between 2 tables occurred which disrupted the whole staff - and instead of the hostess and manager reassuring everyone they all went to check out the fight.
When 12 of us arrived at 5:45PM we were told their large table was occupied but they might be done in about 20-25 minutes. When I showed my confirmation we were told that they do a first come first serve, so they don't have a table. This was a family birthday dinner for my son and was very disappointed. The manager finally rearranged some tables to accommodate us after about 15 minutes of complaining.
Bad experience went to celebrate me and my mother in law birthday and the waitress set my mother in law hair on fire
We had endless appetizers. It is exactly what you expect and not my first choice for dining but the location was the reason we chose this resturant. All the standards boneless chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, potato skins.
Overall good variety of appetizers. I do not eat pork or shellfish which does limit me however the group I was with was very happy. Except for the potato skills which were not exactly loaded as advertised. Very sparse filling.
You always know what you will get with TGIF. It is good choice for a meal of appetizers.
When we arrived, we were told they didn't use Open Table. When we asked for a table then...the workers talked amongst themselves but we didn't know what was going on. There seemed to be no one in charge and was chaotic.
Took mom for mother's day. Was so disappointed. First, my french onion soup came to the table with a spoon, but there were no silver/napkins at the table. When I asked for them I was told there was a spoon served with the soup and she would get them. It took quite a while and I was without a needed napkin. Had I waited, the soup would be cold. Was glad I had tissues in my purse. My mom's flatiron steak was ordered very well done and came out bright pink inside. We sent it back and they returned the SAME steak cooked well this time but they had re-seasoned it making it so salty it was not edible. She had already waited so long for it, reordering was not an option. I had ribs and had to ask for extra napkins after she finally brought out the silverware rolls. It again took forever. When she took our dessert order she left all the dishes from the meal on the table. I had even stacked them and put on edge of table for her. Even though it was mothers day, we were there at 3PM and it was not so busy to excuse the delays. At the end, the manager did come by and took our desserts off the bill, which did equal the amount of mom's steak. I was glad he did that, but mother's day was already ruined. I won't be back or recommend to others.
I would not recommend this place to my enemy. There are very few chain restaurants that meet my expectations. TGI Fridays is no different. Everything was bad. 1-our glasses were dirty. 2-It took them 40 minutes to make a burger and grilled chicken sandwich. 3-the grilled chicken was not even cooked thoroughly. I am done with them. They need to be an app only place.
The food and drinks are always great every time I go. However the workers are a little slow and forgetful. I can't believe the Manager of TGI Fridays actually placed my appetizer on the table and asked me did I want plates to go with my appetizers and he never brings them to my table at all...really? I waited almost 10 minutes before I saw my waiter and asked him to fulfill my need of plates and I still had to wait another 5 minutes...wtf? After that fiasco I pretty much enjoyed my lunch in peace. Then at the end of our lunch the waiter asked if I wanted coffee or dessert...lol...why should I? I didn't want him to have to fly across the country for plates so I passed lol😂😂😂
Extended review from yesterday's visit on 4/1/17 - Oh yes how could I forget the hostess who clearly saw me standing there waiting to be seated as he talked to other customers who were seated at their tables. I stood there for almost 4-5 minutes looking around staring at a podium minus a hostess. He finally came over and I asked was the hostess on lunch break. He said he was the hostess and that he was in the back washing dishes. I said wow they just have you doing everything huh? He just looked at me in silence. I also noticed the whole time I was dining both of the hostesses kept staring at my table. I don't know what was in the air at this place but it sure was fishy. I'm still not feeling the vibes at this particular TGI Fridays at all. I would definitely pass on this place for sure. I went to sleep and woke up and still thought about more things that occurred now that's not good🤔😴😈

The wait time was too long to get your food. But the service was good.
