TGI FRIDAYS - Tysons Corner
The food and service are as you'd expect from a Fridays. Perhaps the only surprise is that Fridays is quieter than usual on Friday evenings. The service was efficient and friendly. They accommodated children well. Conveniently close to the AMC Theater and an exit to parking.
Thankfully I called to confirm my daughter's birthday reservation for two separate booths, one for adults, the other for the girls. We're TGI Friday's members, they took forever to bring us the chips and salsa, the waiter was ill and didn't have a voice, the birthday sundae didn't come and we had to leave before anyone sang happy birthday because it took so long we would've missed the movie.
They were not ready when we arrived and had to set up even though we were on time. The waiter was not 100% in being timely and being responsive. Overall it was good and I will go back
The experience was as good as usual. After waiting for 10 minute for my server that didn’t came to the table until I went to the host stand to let them know no one was helping me yet. The services at this location is usually good but that date not at all.
Food was fast and as expected.
Booked online. When I got there, It was like they were shocked I had a reservation. Sat us and waiter came and said he would be right back. Didn't come back till 1/2 hour later. We left, didn't even order.
Andy, our Bartender who’s an uber-engaging Auggie, made our pit stop from holiday shopping such a fun one.
TGIF’s now offers a $5 Everyday Menu at the Bar.
A great place for a mall sports bar visit.
Great price and quality on all food and drinks.
The 2+2+2 deal was great.
Service was rushed and steak was over cooked. Server never filled drinks nor did she check on food.
love tgi fridays!! 10/10 food and service. would go back w friends!!!!
Service good. Decent happy hour drink and apps prices.
One of the rare occasions they got my steak right (pardon the pun). Good experience this time.
Great place for families with kids, tasty, nice variety menu for all tastes
Excellent food. Had the Philly cheesesteak burger. Delicious b
Good location, decent happy hour, and great staff.
Wow. I'm not expecting much when I walk into a TGI Friday's, but somehow this location still managed to disappoint. I've been here several times, as Friday's was an old favorite of a college friend and we still sometimes meet up there for old times' sake. However, I'm pretty sure we won't be going back anytime soon.
First off: our server was lovely. Super nice and friendly--I don't think the problem was with him. However, when the food came out, my buddy couldn't tell whether his chicken was chicken or ground beef--that's how burnt it was. He sent it back and got a still-charred chicken in exchange...not great. While that was going on, I looked at my veggie burger...and realized it wasn't veggie at all. Had to send that back, too, but even when the right food came out for all of us it was flavorless, lukewarm, and just plain disappointing. Also, took nearly half an hour for us to get our beers...and the red velvet cake was mind-blowingly disappointing.
On the upside, it was great to meet up with old friends, and the brownie was still super solid. Otherwise, however, this location was a total bust.
Food was not cooked to usual Friday’s standard. Fair Oaks location is much better. Our food was significantly delayed and when we finally it was just not the quality I was expecting from Friday’s. Shrimp over fried and fries were not fresh Food was not cooked to usual Friday’s standard.
Second time in a row they can’t cook a steak medium rare despite two attempts each time. More waiting while date eats alone. Removing charges for my dish is getting old quick. I plain give up.
It was extremely crowded over the holidays & Service was very slow. Took them almost an hour to get our food after ordering
The service was so poor, I went to the water refill station and poured my own water.
The food took over 30 minutes to arrive, server was never at the table
It was really good
Even though Friday's is on open table and took my reservation, when I arrived the hostess told me they do not honor open table reservations. I don't know why they are listed on open table.
It was great time. Food and drinks really good. The only thing is the drinks took to long to come out to the table.
It was a great experience... food is always great.... Service was wonderful!!! Our waiter Anthony went above and beyond to make it a great dining experience!!
Second time scheduling with open table and they didnt have me, but they figured it out eventually. They where accomodating even though they seemend to be having a problem with the open table app.
Some of the seats are by a huge window that is by the door which makes it quite cold depending on your seating area. We moved to a different table and it was much better. Overall was ok. Only issue with orders is that the drinks are watered down amd lots of ice in them very little drink.
Made a reservation with OpenTable, and my first thought upon watching the staff get super confused about how reservations work at their location was that maybe they shouldn't be on OpenTable. Bless their hearts for even trying. My friend and I were seated at a table surrounded by families, which is fine except their strollers crowded the area a bit and it wasn't a very comfortable place to eat - maybe ask them to park their strollers outside in stroller parking? Add to that the fact that no one checked on us for about 15 minutes. A nice waiter asked if we had been waited on, we said no, he said it wasn't his section but he'd be happy to check on that and grab our drinks in the meantime. That short interaction was more attention than our actual waitress paid to us the entire meal. But for either of the families nearby, you better believe she checked on them, thanked them profusely, and made sure they were having a great meal. Just because we are two single girls, doesn't mean we're not going to spend money at this establishment. We probably would have stayed longer and spent more money if she treated us better, but instead we took our business elsewhere after an unimpressive meal. Next time we visit Tysons Corner, we'll be finding other restaurants to spend our money at.
Even though I made a reservation in Open Table, the hostess seemed unaware that I had one. I had a party of 12 so I'm glad we were there early enough so that they could accommodate us. Later on, they did figure out that the reservation was in Open Table. We had a spot right in front of the kitchen which seemed ok (again it was early enough so that noise was not as big as an issue). Food was, well, TGI Fridays food, but the service was good.
No reservation found according to maitre d'? Loud and not what it used to be food-wise. Can't recommend!
Poor service and the waitress found an excuse to justify her service. It was my birthday and I was with family and friends. We ordered Only sides and it took over 45 minutes. Other tables ordered meals after us and they received their food before us. We almost missed our movie. I did NOT get my birthday cake.
