TGI FRIDAYS - Tampa (Bruce B Downs)
Great happy hour prices, especially for the drinks! Good service...
Terrible. This place has fallen apart. Never got my points for this reservation as the lady up front was clueless about open table. Menus were missing pages, Caesar Salad was served on a hot plate with my sandwich causing lettuce to be warm and portion was so small, brownie dessert was under cooked. Pasty and powder like. Just avoid this place it will be out of business soon.
The new bacon grilled chicken sandwich was really good and they’re now offering all wines for happy hour!
SERVICE Was Terrible....FOOD was Terrible...This place has just gone downhill.
Thankfully Gary the Manager came over and comped our bill but I do not think I will come back. I already told a bunch of people not to go there.
DJ played all the great 'ole school' tunes. Was really fun!
This was the first time we've been to a Fridays in 5 years. I used to like them, but this one was so noisy that we could hardly hear each other talk. The food was not very good either. I think we'll skip Fridays from now on.
Horrible experience. Went here for my kids on Fathers Day, and the service was atrocious. Took 15 mins to even get greeted once we sat. Took another 10 mins for server to take our drink order. Never came back to refill drinks, and the bill was wrong. Not happy.
It was surprisingly good!
While the service and everything was great, I was pretty disappointed with one thing. My main concern (and the main reason for me finding a place that took reservations) was finding a place that could sit 13 on Mother’s Day. I was so worried something would happen to our reservation, that I called on the day of to make sure the restaurant had it. And I was assured that not only did they have it, but our table would be ready when we arrived. (Which for me was a big deal because my family was all arriving separately and there’s quite a few small children) However when we arrived, the host that greeted us said there was no reservation listed for open table under my name. He thankfully was able to throw together some tables and fit us in. And before you think it, I triple checked the address of this place to make sure I had the right one. So I’m not sure what happened between 11:30 when I confirmed my reservation and 1:15 when we arrived, but thankfully everything was able to be sorted.
It just makes me really nervous to trust open table after this. Or TGI Friday’s for that matter. What if they couldn’t have squeezed us in? What if the very thing we were trying to avoid (which was having to wait an hour or more to be seated) became reality? Even after all the planning? I just think something better can be done to prevent this in the future.
On the upside our waitress was nice and attentive. Our food came out fast and was tasty and everyone enjoyed their time.
Our server was awesome!! She was on top of everything!!
Cold food, warm drinks, not a good experience. Waitress was apologetic for delay in kitchen and for cold food. She was working hard. It no one else was
Waitress wasn’t great. Wasn’t pleased. Took a while to be greeted. Otherwise food was good
Our waitrees Victoria was the best. Food was very good.
Mother's Day lunch.
Great food and service. Would have preferred to not be right outside the kitchen - lots of traffic and noise was a distraction from an otherwise perfect dinner date.
As always - great experience! Good food & fun atmosphere.
Came in thru back Door near parking no one asked if we had reservations advised waitress we had one
The Mahi mahi was too dry
The jack Daniels chicken too bland
I would give it one more try
Terrible Service. It took my party 2 HOURS TO GET OUR APPETIZERS..
