TGI FRIDAYS - St. Louis (Downtown)
We made a reservation online because it was so busy downtown due to the concert. When we arrived they didn’t have our reservation even though I had the confirmation email. They said their tablet crashed. We were put on a list and never called prior to us having to leave for the concert.
The food was inedible when it arrived. The cheese was a melted hard blob, vegetables soggy, French dip had no aujus, all of it was cold. Completely disgusting & waste if over $60.
mediocre experience, close to Busch Stadium, baseball stadium for St Louis Cardinals
Food was great and our server Lexus was awesome.
walking distance to Busch Stadium, usual TGIF menu, adequate service, expect delays during game days due to crowds
Ebone was our server and she was a delight. I made a special request for a plastic spoon to take back to our hotel room and she came back with 3 sets of plastic wear.
Waitress was horrible, got there at 12:35 for lunch came at 1:20 had no time to eat. Lunch break only hour
We came here late at night after a baseball game. Although it wasn't crowded, the service was slow. Food and drink were fine, but took too long to get to us. Server was friendly and nice. hostess was friendly....some strange looking guys came in and were kicked back out, so that was a bit weird. Of course, it was late night dining in downtown
My reservation was set. I was told that she would have to check if we could be seated...regardless of a reservation. Then when we where getting seated, we asked for a booth, we where lied to about the booth not cleaned. The booth was right next to the table she wanted to sit us at!!! Then the waitress took our order and messed up the order and did nothing to except responsibility for the mess up. Then the food was cold and the salmon was horrible. I will never go back...and will not recommend this establishment to anyone. I was just a mess. Ppl sitting in the booths waiting to be seated. It was just a mess.
We ate at TGI Fridays 2 nights in a row. Unfortunately, both nights our service was terribly slow. Friday night was not nearly as bad as Saturday night. We waited on Saturday for at least 30 minutes to get our drinks. And just as long for our food. There were limited options in the area for food late night and we were able to make a reservation using opentable each night--the only reason we went back on Saturday.
We had a great time. The workers were very helpful with the menu
Not impressed. Where to begin? Hostess was outside not at host stand. Menu was dirty, so I imagine she should have been cleaning menus instead of hanging out outside. A server spoke to me and then disappeared for over 10 minutes. People at table next to me got the check right after they got their food but had to ask again for to go box. I got impression restaurant severely short staffed. Not sure if it was poor planning on management side (last Cardinals homestand weekend and BBQ fest at nearby park) or if people called in sick or were no shows.
Stopped in before a Cardinals game. Overall the it was great. They had a lot of open seating but we couldn’t sit there. When we asked why no one seemed to know why. A table opened a little after our reservation. We only had to wait a few minutes.
Food was good and a very good price. The service however was horrible. Too many things wrong to even list.
It was very warm inside the restaurant, upper 70s. Other than that, not too bad.
Very Poor service not ONE person greet my wife and I at the door. We stood there for 20 mins and still no one said anything. We went there for a date night , when I looked up TGIF online it asked for a reservation. But why make a reservation if nobody will come greet you and seat you down for a table. I will NOT be back at this location. Not a good environment to eat or have fun. Very DRY and not friendly
So-so, they refused to honor the coupon they emailed me, with the exact address of the restaurant on the email, denying it was a coupon despite the presence of the word "coupon" on said coupon, alongside the printed menu also advertising the discount. Most of the crowd were convention attendees who didn't know any better. Extraordinarily long waits for drink refills. Not a terrible experience overall but not worth going back when so many non-chain restaurants downtown are much less expensive and offer far better service.
The service was substandard, 15 min to get our initial (non bar) drinks delivered. Our server only stopped by once after the food was delivered to give us the check.
Horrible service! Long wait! Below average food! I will not return!
Everything was perfect
Restaurant was understaffed, had not checked their computer system for Open Table reservations, and showed little interest in accommodating us for our 4pm seating given their oversight/understaffing. At 4:35pm we decided that we couldn't wait to be seated any longer, and took our group to another local restaurant for a lovely meal.
