TGI FRIDAYS - Springfield (VA)
Servicevwas extremely slow. It took 18 minutes to be served ice tea. We had to ask repeatedly for the check in order to pay. The wait staff seemed unorganized but apologetic. That did not compensate for an unsatisfactory experience.
dirty, expensive, bad food. Very poor service. The food was very bad taste.
Steve was great. Checked on us often and very courteous.
Great service and delicious food!
My date & I came in & we were seated immediately last night!!! When we were seated our waiter attended to us right away. The wait time on the food was not long at all even though there were quite a few people there. The food was delicious. I’ve eaten at plenty of Fridays but this Friday’s had the best tasting food so far. I only have one complaint. My date ordered a patron margarita and the bartender sent out a tiny glass & it was full of ice and I feel as tho he should’ve gotten what he paid for. All in all I really enjoyed our date and I would definitely go back again
very friendly staff on time food was hot an on point no long wait will be returning
Let's begin with the Hispanic, young hostess working today 8/17 at 6:30 pm. I asked the host to check me into my reservation for OpenTable and she proceeded to give me attitude. This host would not respond when I asked her to elaborate on why she didn't want to check me into my OpenTable reservation. I am a 30-year-old woman dinning with her my family and responded to like a dang highschool kid when i asked about my reservation. Why does TGI Fridays have reservations available on OpenTable if the own host complains about checking you in? TGIF Fridays at Springfield Managers please fix this.
My server Chyna was the best! The food was okay and the 3 for $10 was incredible but please retrain your hostess, it was an awful way to start this experience.
Father’s Day celebration
Took 20 minutes to get a beer and it was not busy.
Other customers with different waiters/waitresses were also clearly very upset with the terrible service.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Table ready to go in an excellent location for the business dinner that was conducted. Food and drinks were excellent. Easy access to I-95.
My go to spot in Springfield to watch sports! It is always festive.
Very good service
It was ok ... food was cooked wrong twice.... recovery was fast the manger was in Top of it ... overall it was ok.
Good food and good place for a quiet lunch with very reasonable prices. Location is also very convenient
I do not like waiting more than five minutes for my reserved table. It defeats the purpose of reservations.
This was my first visit to TGI Fridays since they revamped the lunch menu. I enjoyed my basic cheeseburger, especially happy that they now will cook burgers to taste, and they know how to cook rare. My son really enjoyed the buffalo wings as a main course. The pretzel appetizer was nice and hot and mated well with the cheese dip. About the only negative was that the kitchen was a little bit slow. Definitely a nice to have keeper.
Our waitress made this visit decent. Our visit started with a hostess upset I used open table for a reservation. Apparently they are not receiving any notice from open table and she wanted me know her frustration...
Party balloons (happy birthday balloons) in the restaurant which is distracting and I guess people want you to be part of their party even though you were not invited. Not to take away from a celebratory day, but maybe a section can be dedicated for such events. Just know I don't blame the people, I blame the restaurant for not thinking this thru!
Open table I hope you solve this issue with TGIF.....
Food good, service was ok, server seemed a little new so I have him a pass, the service was decent could have been a little better.
We reserved a table for 7 for a 6:45 spot. There were other OpenTable times, as well. However, we picked this time as it was our son's birthday, and this was where he wanted to go. We arrived at the restaurant, and we invited to be seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time. Unfortunately, they invited us to be seated at a table for 6. While the server did not want to do it, we squished a 7th chair into the table as they would not have been able to accommodate us at another table for potentially up to an hour. We have not had problems with having a reserved table at TGI Friday's before, but we are not likely to reserve them again.
Only problem was their OpenTable system was down and had to get a manager (Young) to get us sat close to our time since the hostess only wanted to put us on a wait list.
