Food was excellent, as was the service! Love the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Overall the service was good and the food was excellent they only issue I had was when I ordered the chicken and shrimp Alfredo they put it as the sizzling instead of the Cajun but other than that everything was pretty good.
For Mother's Day, I was craving Friday's bacon cheeseburger - which was excellent. Then I was surprised with a complimentary brownie fudge ice cream dessert. Good choice!
We has 12 people at the restaurant and they have never been...the waitress was so polite and caring...Out of 12 people 10 food orders wrong....Ask for the manager and she didn't even apologize to us but she went and got our food out.. the cooks don't know what they t doing...The poor waitress was so upset with them and kept apologizing to us...The manager didn't seemed to care and didn't have a nice thing to say...Rude....We will never go back there again..Too bad I liked that place
Well we waited over a 45 min just for chips an salsa waitress said she forgot then the waitress took our order my wife order the sizzle chicken but no papers No onions an 1 hour an 30 min latter the manager stated that my wife’s order came out with onions so they had to remake it we said thank you 45 min after that the order comes out with onions on it so my wife explained she could not eat this an pleases be so kind to take it off the bill the manger came back out apologized again an states that the item would be taken off the bill so my wife ate chips an salsa as the 3 of imusbin our party finished our dinners then the bill came out only to have $3.95 taken off the bill fir the $13.95 dollar dinner that was not able to be eaten an I paid the bill so 4 adults went out for dinner 3 of them actually got to eat dinner I paid over $80.00 before tip an we all were shocked to see that only $3.95 cane off the bill for a meal that could not be eaten with an chips an salsa that took over 45 to come out after ordering I guess when the snow birds are down in Florida standards go out the window but I live in Florida year round so when the snow birds all leave I am the one that goes to theses restaurants to keep them going well not TGIF anymore the way this all went down was appalling Shame onbyoy fir treating regular customers this way I hope you get enough money from the snow birds while there down because this local won’t be going there anymore after you treated locals like this I still had to take my wife a different restaurant so she could eat dinner Shane in TGIF why apologize an then treat the customer worse Shame on you all buyer beware I will be telling all my family an friends how we were treated an I may even post a review on Facebook of the outlandish treatment we got while at TGIF

Everything was Great our server was very nice and communicative. Just that they need to work better on bringing out the food hot. We waited about 30 min and my husband food (ribs came out cold) and his wings were all full of grease .
Food is always tasty and hot. Service is always very good. This one of our favorite dinner spots in Port Charlotte.
On almost every visit a manager has stopped by our table to check on us. Getting a surprise email for a bogo dinner or a reduced price entree is great.
Even though we were forewarned about a "longer" wait it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our food. We had to ask our waitress several times about items we requested. I think she was very busy though. In spite of the negatives the food was good and hot, although the portions were very small, unlike the pictures of the plates on the menu. Their WiFi has been down for over three weeks that I know of. Management seem to lack any concern for that. That's unacceptable for a restaurant of this type. There were several screaming kids that were an extreme annoyance. The parents could care less. We were an inch from asking to be moved.
Staff is always friendly and attentive. Being a Stripes Reward member helps.

Everything was excellent- except broccoli soup was cold , and pasta meal lacked seasoning and flavor. Very bland.

When we arrived there were about 12 to 15 people waiting to be seated. They had been put on table list when they arrived. We gave out name to hostess and within 5 minutes we were called and seated. We bypassed all those waiting by using the open table reservation.
I will continue using this service when available.

Was giving our meal an here was onions on it which I asked for no onions due to allergies they took the meal back picked for just some of the onions an melted extra cheese on the meal to cover up the onions that were left still on the meal unknown to me I began eating the meal to only discover that onions were still on it I got sick that night this place will eventually kill someone with this underhanded ways Shane on this restaurant how can this restaurant still remain open making food like this for people with a food allergies
I have been a rewards member for years and was always pleased. I had not been there recently, so when I received a coupon in my email, I decided to visit. I invited another couple to go with us. I called to inquire about reservations and was told I had to process my request thru open table, it was took a few minutes longer but I did it. There was no ahead of us when we arrived and many empty tables, yet we waited about 15 minutes for them to "clean our table". We ordered 2 appetizer s and we're given no small plates that most restaurant s offer, and we had no napkins offered either, so I requested them. Our drinks took about 15 minutes and meal took about 25 minutes to get there and we had to request silverware to eat. We had to request that the dirty appetizer plate and 4 empty glasses be removed so that we had room to eat. (Most waitresses offer to take things out of the way) . Most importantly we had to ask for drink refills. Lastly, I ordered a 10oz steak that had a lot grissle/tendons? , I was unable to chew it and spit it out quietly, I ate half if it.
Overall we were a little embarrassed that we invited friends for this experience. Lastly, our waitress was young and she was pleasant, but it was apparently she did not have proper training. Our bill was $144 and my husband felt like giving a good tip would leave the young lady to believe the service was satisfactory. We left yet $15. We eat out often, and most likely will not visit any time soon.

Stopped for birthday lunch for 2 friends. Waitress was very friendly and jovial. Knew the menu and was not afraid to make suggestions.
I was there with a group of 6 it was my husband 21st birthday and he wanted to go there because there was a drink he wanted to try but everyone got there drinks pretty quick. I ordered a water and I didn't get that so I was maybe try something else so I got a slushie and we waited 45 minutes and I still didn't get it. The ONLY time our waitress came to our table was to ask if we were playing cards. So we just got up and left. It was the worst experience ever. Almost every time I go here the service was somewhat better but I'm not sure if I would go again.

Six family members got together. we had a great time.
The service we received on Tuesday was possibly the worst I have ever had. We sat in the bar at a high top bar table. (party of 2). There were 3 bartenders behind the bar. The bar itself was approximately 1/2 full and there were 4 other tables sat, which admittedly included 1 large table of approximately 10-12 people. If it were a matter of simply the bartenders being busy I would completely understand, but as I watched them stand behind the bar and talk amongst themselves while we waited to order our food and drinks, it was obviously not a matter of being busy; they simply did not care. It took approximately 15 minutes from the time we sat down to get a bartender to take our food order. I am a very easy guest and typically never leave a negative review (I can't think of any prior that i've written), but this service was truly amongst the worst I have ever received and I will not be returning to Fridays.
Don't have reservations open if you're not going to follow them.
Friendly atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices
Food and service was good. The host that greeted us had no idea what I was talking about when I said I reserved on open table. Gave up trying to explain to him so we just sat down. I think he was a server that was just helping out seating people. Not sure how we would collect our points because nothing was entered on line BUT WE WERE THERE AND ATE!
