TGI FRIDAYS - Philadelphia (Center City)
TGI Friday’s has greatly deteriorated from is heyday. The menus were old and staples coming out, the tables were a bit worn, there was no decor, just bare walls and floors and a huge noise from the very loud customers. On a Saturday night, though a dreary wet, cold one, the place was more than half empty. The waitress tried but did not have much finesse. The food was very good and low-priced. I would not return, despite the quality and price of the food.
Service too slow. Beer glass smelled bad for draft.
1st Hostess was very rude, even tho we booked online 2 hours a head we still had to wait. She stated they never saw our online reservation. Spoke to a 2nd hostess who seated us but area was very filthy. Waiter was wonderful very attentive Synai
I ordered chicken pasta & come to find out they didnt have any garlic bread to go with my meal. I think they shld of told me first & I could have ordered something else instead. For further reference I will find out first.
Did not honor my reservation time. Had to still put my name on a list upon getting there and had to wait an hour to be seated. Food was good. Typical TGIF food. Host was apologetic but still don't understand why i was able to make a reservation and still had to go on a list upon arrival.
The customer service experience was horrible the guest before us was having a issue where a sever spit in her food. I didn’t stay. I didn’t get seated or greeted.
We waited 20 min to have a waitress and our our order in.. we have a 1 year old with us who was also hungry.. we waited almost an hour for our spinach dip that looked like something from a jar at wawa. We finally got our food over an hour later. We were pressed for time as we had tickets for an exhibit at 6. The restaurant was not crowded so there was no reason why this happened to us. We will never be back to the Philadelphia location again.
The waiters at the door were rude just standing there and never greeted us as walked threw the door. My reservations were for the second floor outside terrace. The waitress explained on Sundays no one is scheduled outside and reservations on Open table reservations should not have accommodated a reservation for two because we only reserve seats for a party of eight or more not two people. After we were seated the salad had too much dressing on it. After we ate I had to call downstairs to get my waitress who was nice but took too long returning for the check.
My coworker and I had a great lunch.
Long wait for food
They did not recognize opentable booking- ambience was terrible and the place was filthy so we left
If I could give this 0 stars, that would have been too many!! Horrible experience
The server was nice but the "service" was horrible. It wasn't our servers fault. The kitchen hadn't even prepared our food. Our server had to go back to the kitchen and plate our food and that was after waiting 30 minutes. We were on lunch break which the server knew from the start. Don't go for lunch unless you have time to kill.
Food was great but we had experienced a really bad service when we dined there. Drinks were served after we’re almost done with our meal. I hd to ask many times to get the salad dressing, which came when im almost done eating. My partner’s utensils came when i’m almost half way thru my meal. We tried to understand them since their busy at that time but The WORST thing that happened to us was that they charged us extra tip on top of the tip that we gave them, WITHOUT US KNOWING. I just saw it when it got the charge posted on my card after 3 days. We Went to the restaurant and the manager told us that they’ll reverse it and gave us a food discount. Never have I ever encountered anything like this. We’re still waiting for the reversal of the extra dollar they charged us
FIRE THE WHOLE STAFF!! The waiter Sharif obviously was new so I tried to give him the benefit of doubt. But HOW MANY TIMES can an order get messed up!? It was Mother's Day & wasn't crowded which should've been my clue that this place went downhill. Reservations at 5pm for four (which they said they didn't see them) . They didn't get our food CORRECT until 6:30. EVERYTHING SUCKED and I will NEVER go to that location again! Fire the hostess, cook, bartender (drinks weak) & the wait staff. Better yet CLOSE THIS LOCATION!
Kitchen seemed short staffed on our visit. Poor waiter was running around the entire time, challenged to get things out on a regular schedule. Appetizer was missing sauce, dessert took 20 minutes to get.
Very nice waitress. Was seated immediately, and attended to reasonably
We went to grab dinner since we had a long day. Everything was perfect but service can be improved. Our server Isaiah was so prompt in providing us with everything we need. The only problem is we have to ask for it. It looks like he’s new or maybe he’s not having a great day that time. Im a server too and I know how hard to please everyone when it’s busy. Over all, everything was perfect.
Great service and food. Drinks yes and seated right away for a good night
As soon as you walk in the hostess doesn’t great you with a smile, she greets you with attitude. Our server was to busy for our table. When she walked over she said “I’m here” instead of how can help you. The experience wasn’t a pleasant one and I won’t be going back.
the food was awful
Sorry to say but this may have been the worst dinning experience ever. We went early to miss the crowd but still the service was so slow! They seated us right away, but maybe we should of taken that as a sign that no one liked the place. The floors were sticky and gross! More than half the silverware had food stuck to it. We had a party of 14, with several food allergies, and they messed up more than half of the orders. What food we did receive was either cold when it should have been hot or warm when it should have been cold. The bathrooms were so bad; dirty and very, very smelly! I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy1
The wait time is equally as long for a table and to be served, even if you reserve a table ahead of time.
I saw employees twerking and dancing in the kitchen, meanwhile food took forever after the appetizer. We asked for water, 30 minutes later after reminding 2 times we get it. Horrible service. What the hell happened to Friday's?
Poor service, uncooked food, took 45 mins to get our starter that was then spilt on our table when it arrived. Further 30 mins for mains to arrive I. Which they forgot fries, and the veg was raw broccoli. Also got the order wrong twice. Worst service in the week I was in Phili
The reservation was not on file when we got there. They took our names down and we had to wait 15 + minutes. The online reservation was pointless. The manager was ride to the hostess and to not friendly. Our waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was dirty and the menus were greasy
Would not recommend or return to this location. The reservation system was "down" so had a 30 minute wait on arrival for reservation. Folks were smoking in entry to establishment, bathrooms very dirty.
When we arrived the system was down so we did not get seated at our reserved time. The food was just okay. The table was not terribly clean before we sat down. Overall we were not thrilled with our experience. Our server was very nice and apologized for the slow service.
We had a 6;45 reservation and we were not seated until 7:30. It took 44 minutes to get our appetizer and 30 more minutes to get our entrees. The server was great and felt so bad he gave us chips and salsa for free.
Having a reservation here made no difference as people without reservations were seated before us. I don’t think they even had. System in place to honor reservation. When you walked in you gave your name just like anyone else coming in off the street.
We were really disappointed.
This restaurant was horrific. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and when we arrived we still had to wait for a table. When they sat us at the table, they provided us with our menus and plastic ware that they give you when you order take out instead of napkins and proper silver ware. We sat down and waited over 15 minutes and a server never arrived at the table. My significant other went to get someone and when he asked if someone was coming to serve us the person laughed before saying they were going to grab someone...saying "oh, she just seats people". At which time, we just decided to leave and go somewhere else for dinner.
Horrible host at the front door... I turned around and left... Starting to feel like this is McDonald's.
Made a reservation and they still had me waiting for over a hour
Not sure why they are available as a selection on Open Table, we arrived at our reservation time and they told us they don’t take reservations and it would be a 45 minute wait.
Excellent service and great personnel in attendance, Thank you !!!
Food was great but parking sucks that's the only thing that would keep me from coming back it took me 30 minutes to find parking... But food was good.
My drink was very good the soda machine was down they only had bar seating available the server I had was slow to talkative I had Cajun pasta and it wasn’t anything Cajun about it it had to be sent back.
The open table reservation was a waste of time because we still waited an hour before we were seated. Also I requested a booth when I made the reservation and that didn't happen either. This is my second unpleasant visit at this location, I'm done I will travel to Jersey or City Line Avenue when I want to go to TGIFriday's.
It was awful! Issue with seating and then once seated no one came over to serve us after waiting 10 minutes so we left. Music was too loud and the place seemed disorganized and disoriented. Never go back
Great patient staff. Everyone from the host to my server Kyra provided exceptional service.
We got there at the time we were supposed to and they wouldn’t seat us and told us they were closing
