TGI FRIDAYS - Oswego
We came for a special but it wasn't served on this day...
The person that waited on us was very attentive and had a great attitude
Our waiter Dillon was excellent! Great service from start to finish!
Are waiter was very unprofessional and didn't even bring my water when I ask
I like the offer "2 for $20" but the portions are smaller what is actually better option for me because you can eat it without taking the leftovers home. The atmosphere at Oswego restaurant is nicer than at Aurora's or Joliet's and it's cleaner.
Terrible food, terrible service. We had a coupon.... won’t be back for a while.
Beyond meat burger was great!! Nice spacing between tables, comfortable.
Food as disappointing. Service was awful. Server never checked on us until we needed boxes and our check. Never got refills until we were leaving and had to ask for them in to go cups. At one point during our meal I had to walk some dirty dishes over to a bus boy (who looked at me holding the dishes during part of our meal 3 or 4 times) just to make room on our table.
This location has continued to go downhill. I keep giving it a chance to redeem itself but I’m not going to any longer. Last night the tables on either side of us were so loud they disrupted normal conversation. Our waiter was very prompt and made every effort for us to get in and out due to our schedule but the food was less than okay. Chicken for both entrees had a very strong grill/chemical taste and mashed potatoes were a glutinous pile of starch. Since we were
Right on time I did not send it back but I won’t be returning, this was the last straw.
Great dining experience. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. Food was excellent as always.
The service was excellent as usual! The food was good. We come 2-3 times a month. We will continue to visit Friday’s in Oswego.
5 adults and 1 child - we waited an hour for our order of appetizers and one entree. when the food came out it was cold and our whole meal was comped by the manager. We had asked on the status of our food since they were appetizers. it had been sitting in the window for so long and we had inquired we had hoped they would have brought it out as it was ready. I think there were a lot of issues in the kitchen - maybe understaffed. as we were leaving they were keeping people from being seated (even with empty tables) for the kitchen to catch up, I think. It was probably an off night and we still tipped our server pretty well since it wasn’t his fault.
We go there for lunch or dinner a lot. Did not like the table this time. It was at the front door and there were a lot of empty tables and booths but did not complain. Could not hear the waiter he al but whispered and it was so noisy there not one of the four of us could hear him. We did the all you eat apps and was not happy with the way they were served, but they were good. My brother and his wife wanted to go there because the one by them closed but they were not really happy with it. I told them usually not that bad.
OUR SERVER LOGAN WAS EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY. CHECKED OUR TABLE TO MAKE SURE WE HAD ALL WE NEEDED. WE WERE IN THE BAR AREA AT OSWEGO ILLINOIS FOR A CUBS GAME. LOTS OF FUN.
We had not been to a Fridays for a year. We decided to try it since it was new to Open Table. The advantage of using an Open Table reservation is not waiting when you arrive. We arrived and had to wait a half hour to be seated. When a couple that came in after us who had no reservation was seated before us, I had to say something to the hostess. We were next to be seated. Fridays needs to get the kinks worked out to be part of Open Table.
