TGI Friday’s was fine, but the reservation experience was unfortunate. The host made me aware that their OpenTable reservation service has been down for months. So, we had to wait for a table.

So I Checked in online to reserve seat so the wait would be minimal as we had an event to go to.
They knew nothing about me checking in and could care less I explained I did this 40 Min before arriving she wouldn't look or didn't know how and just wrote our name down among the list of other names.
So that was a complete waste of time. Took another 45 minutes to be seated and 45 for the food to come out and was 50 minutes late to the event :(

It was crazy busy and their Open Table app was not working. Our server was amazing but the rest of the experience was average or below.

We made reservations but when we got there was told that they didn’t use Open table. We had to speak to a manager or they were going to put us at the bottom of the wait list. We love TGI but very disappointed in them

Terrible experience. The restaurant informed upon arrival that they do not honor reservations. Once seated after waiting we sat for 45 minutes without our order being taken.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

First, when we arrived we were informed that they do not honor OpenTable reservations, so don't waste your time making one or basing your plans around getting a table at a reserved time. After a 10-15 minute wait, we were shown to our table where we waited another 10-15 minutes before our waitress arrived. Granted the waitress was probably the best part of the meal as she was very nice and personable and did her best to make our experience enjoyable. Three members of our party (myself and wife included) are vegetarians, and we had chosen TGIF (drove 1.5 hours for a movie and to eat here) because of the heavily advertised Impossible Burger. We placed our order and after waiting about 20-30 minutes someone else came out to inform us that they were out of the Impossible Burgers. We asked for our bill and to speak to a manager. The manager came out, completely passed off blame on the waitress ("She didn't get the memo") and proceeded to be very rude and argumentative, in no way apologetic for absolutely ruining our dinner. We paid our $25 bill for the drinks (no comps offered at all), and just wound up eating in the food court before our movie.

WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER TGI FRIDAYS AGAIN, AND WILL TELL ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!

we rsvp through open table to find out that they do not accept it. we had to wait 15 mins. finally got our names called came in as soon as we sat down server Marvin was very pushy had to ask for specific menu since it was not provided gave it to us like he had an attitude and came back and rushed us again asking us for our order. brought out our apps and dessert at the same time didnt even ask us if we wanted it to go. came back took out order did ask if we wanted specific sauce or anything. fries were cold and we were just not impressed at all

They are NOT accepting reservations; they refused to honor our reservation and told us to wait another hour even with empty tables. Very disorganized location.

The food was great a bit expensive though. The waitress we had was amazing. Funny, thoughtful and she was on top of everything. Overall good time.

TGI Fridays is one of the better 'chain' restaurants. I love the 'Fried Green Beans!' The best part of this dining experience was our server, Jeri! She was one of the best servers I have come across in any restaurant! I look forward to dining here again because of her!

Manager was horrible and said open table reservations mean nothing and that I would have to wait 40 min! This was after the hostess was ready to seat us and we were on our way! Worst experience I’ve ever had. Manager is horrible and I would suggest fridays remove open table because they think of you as a joke and nothing else!

TGIF in Opry Mills failed miserably. After being seating at the time of our reservation, we waited 16 minutes before a server took drink orders. Due to the number of servers on the floor, size of the crowd waiting to be seated and the vacant tables in our immediate area, we ordered food immediately after receiving drinks. After waiting 52 minutes for food items, I asked to speak to a manager who was "Busy with other tables". The manager was less than apologetic and could not understand the issue but vowed to investigate. She returned to say the server inputted the food order incorrectly. The server apologized for her error then repeatedly stated her error was due to "fluids dripping from a slipped disk" in her back. In case you're interested, the server is waiting to have surgery.
When we finally received food, several orders we incorrect; the parmesan chicken was dehydrated and resembled stock from a Doomsday Prepper; and I witnessed kitchen staff taking broccoli from a plastic bag out of the microwave.
Additionally, this TGIF has no drink trays. Servers carry drinks in hand, against their bodies and their torso (read breast area!) The manager's response to this complaint was to note she sees it frequently and tries to correct it on the spot. What a joke!

Not only will I not frequent this TGIF store, but I have already strongly warned others against wasting money here.

Despite having a confirmed reservation and receiving 2 reminders, I arrived on Christmas day to a closed restaurant. Where else do you think you can go on Christmas when where you had planned is closed. Furious.

It was closed. I had sent out invitations for Christmas lunch after reserving a time through Open Table, and was thoroughly embarrassed when everyone showed up and the restaurant was closed. I am not sure why the slot was even open if the restaurant was not planning on being open?

Just horrible and chaotic. Service is the worst! Slow rude servers, who obviously have more tables than they can handle. Very noisy since it faces the food court. Food was lukewarm and nothing special. Do yourself a favor and eat outside the mall if you want a peaceful meal with no drama.

Had OpenTable reservation, but still had to wait 20 minutes! Server Liz tried to charge our entire bill as her Tip!! This is why I haven't been to a TGIF in over 10 years. After this visit, I'll never go again! :(

The service was very poor. We were seated 15-20 minutes beyond our reservation time scheduled via open table. Additionally, our waiter, Ty, was unprofessional, uninviting and seem to be in a rush to get us in and out. Additionally, my entree BbQ chicken salad, was not prepared appropriately as requested and had to be returned. My children ordered the endless apps which took 30 minutes to serve. My wife ordered a cocktail that was served in the mixer glass and left for her to pour instead of being served in a traditional cocktail glass. I was very disappointed with the service and would not recommend dining at this particular restaurant.

30 seconds to book a reservation
20 minutes from booking to arrival
20 more minutes waiting after arrival as they didn't have our reservation
10 minutes before table service of any type
20 minutes before drinks arrived
35 minutes from order to appetizer arrival

They were busy and had computer issues, but communicated these things very poorly. Most frustrating was the wait for service. Got a "keg needed to be changed" excuse just before the beers arrived, more than 20 minutes after taking the drink order (others were drinking same beer). Appetizer arrived 35 minutes after we ordered it, and it was a simple queso dip. Waste of time, waste of money, waste of a perfectly great afternoon, waste of my kids' good moods.

I regret to say we had a horrible experience at TGI Fridays/ Opry Mills. We barely saw our waitress (even though she was working a total of 4-5 tables as the restaurant was fairly empty). She never even brought waters to the table for us to have drinks with our meal. It took 40 minutes for us each to get a salad and, when we did, my order was incorrect. Not only was it not what I ordered but it was a salad concoction that didn't even exist on the menu...so I guess the kitchen was out of several key ingredients (kale, avocado, red onions, grilled chicken breast etc) and so they decided to replace the key ingredients (basic lettuce and a nasty pulled chicken substitute that seemed to have been soaked in a spicy sauce) and leave out the others (no avocado, red onions, etc). It was - in a word - disgusting. When I addressed that this wasn't my order and I'd like to see what could be done with another employee (possibly a floor manager b/c again our waitress was MIA) - he simply took the salad with no offer to replace it with another order and NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. He grabbed it and disappeared never to be seen again until we FINALLY were able to track someone down to get the check. I wish I had gotten the names of both of the waitress and the runner/ possible floor manager b/c they both need some intense customer service training. Needless to say we left and my dinner was nachos from the snack bar at Grand Ole Opry House. Since then several folks have responded to a social media post joking about the incident that they have also had similar, horrible experiences at this location and would never patronize this location. Wish I had known!
