   Made a reservation for 11 people, 7 adults and 4 children two days ahead for 7PM. Arrived a few minutes before 7 and was told to wait they were working on getting the table ready. At 25 after 7 they told me that they had no table to seat our party at and would were be OK splitting up into separate tables. I called Hurricane Grill down the street and they told me they could accommodate my party with no waiting. We left Fridays, got to Hurricane Grill in 5 minutes and they had they table ready for us. They saved the day and got $320.00 in business. On no hurry to to Fridays again. Didn't even get an apology as we were leaving.

   Please train your servers and kitchen staff to pace a diners meal and notice if they are ready for the next course. The restaurant was not even half full on Friday evening when we were there. We weren't even halfway through our appetizer course when the main course was brought out. I told the server we weren't finished yet but she would not return it to the kitchen (Literally it was less than 10 minutes) so the main course sat and was cold by the time we finished our appetizers. My son finished his main course and I was still eating and the server asked if we wanted to go boxes--it was obvious I was still actively eating my dinner but she brought the to go box out anyway. I mentioned to her that this was really annoying and it was making it difficult to have a relaxing dinner when it seemed like she just wanted to flip the table. This is basic waitress and kitchen staff training that I would have thought TGI Friday's had down to a science.

   Open table accepted my reservation for Christmas Day at 3:30 at TGIFs in Newburgh NY even sent me a confirmation the day before. Image our surprise to find the restaurant opens at 5:00. Very disappointed makes me think I can’t count on what you promise. Bob

   The staff were amazing however the food was not great and sitting next to the kitchen entrance means you will have to hear lots of shouting. We ordered two burgers that were basically mincemeat that fell apart in the bun. Food came out cold and I believe this is due to the manager holding a staff meeting about food being cooked or at least prepared. Server was exceptional but the food was not great and sadly we will not be returning.

   We had met friends form PA at the Park and Ride, went to a Yankees game, and they upon returning, wanted a convenient place to eat a supper before we parted ways - then to PA, us headed upstate. TGIF was the perfect choice! we had drinks and a nice supper, served by attentive and cordial staff. Exactly what we needed! For the management - One little thing - whoever washed the floors, used something that left a REALLY SLIPPERY surface - not good for kids, us older people, and maybe folks in between. We have run into this at other stores and restaurants, but seldom - one more good rinse, or a check on what is being used to mop the floors, would be a good idea, before there is an accident. This was not everywhere - we found places that we clean, dry, and secure - but it was in a large part of the place. Not a complaint - just saying - you do not want a fun time to end with a boo-boo.

   We got appetizers as meals, then split a dessert. The appetizers were just the right size for weight conscious ladies like us, and allowed room for TGIF whiskey cake, which was out of this world. I am going to find a TGIF near me just to get this dessert!!

   The waitress forgot our appetizer. Part of my meal was on the cool side and service was slow. All unusual but they had a special event that same evening
