TGI FRIDAYS - Mt. Pleasant
Good food, good service! Table was available when we arrived. Overall a good experience...
Our server, Bobby, was amazing. Our kids loved him and his origami, stories and magic. He is a very hard worker and provides great customer service!
I asked for well done fries and got regular. I asked for them again and she said she needed the first ones back. I think they were doubled cooked. The steaks were tough or the knives were full. Waitress wasn’t around we had to ask someone else for water etc...The service or food wasn’t good as last time.
Was there for my son’s graduation for a party of 20, food was cold, we ordered the chicken & shrimp sizzler. It didn’t sizzle mashed potatoes were plain and were just thrown on plate. I will not recommend this place. Used to be great, not sure what took place.
The overall experience was mediocre in my opinion. It was slightly busy (as Sundays are) but everything just seemed very disorganized. The food was fine, nothing spectacular or memorable and the pricing was good for my meal but my mom seemed to pay more and get less with the all you can eat shrimp deal. I’m sure I may go back again in the future but I wouldn’t say I’m running back for anything special.
If you have a party larger than 8, find another restaurant. We went here on the last night of a family vacation and made a reservation for 10 using OpenTable. Upon arrival, we were told that we could not be seated together and that tables would not be pushed together to accommodate our party. We were seated at adjacent tables but the point was to be together - which is the only reason we chose this restaurant since the reservation process didn’t indicate otherwise. We asked that they accommodate us but were told no even though there were plenty of available table options. The manager said no nicely but did not even offer any appetizers or desserts as a gesture of goodwill.
The server was awesome even though he has only been theee for 3 days. Thank you
it was a good place to stop for lunch, I especially liked their chicken salads
Went for lunch. We both had the full rack of ribs for 12.99. Not a bad deal. The Whiskey sauce is a dollar extra. Good food total bill was less than 40. Would recommend. Almost beat Applebee’s for that 2 for 20.
Everything was great except for the waitress. She wasn’t very friendly but that won’t stop me from visiting again really soon!!
Valentines Day and the crowd was reasonable and service was fast!!
We went for the Brussels sprouts, however they are no longer on the menu. Very disappointing. We were nickel and dimed for every little thing. I mean if we are paying $20+ for a meal you can’t sprinkle a little cheese on the broccoli? Nope that’s $.50. I asked for some avacado on my side salad I got about 3-4 little dices, that cost $1.00. My husband wanted a little extra rice in place of another side we got charged for 2 extra sides of rice. The server never brought anything we asked for, we had to ask other servers. I’ve always enjoyed fridays, but we won’t ever be back.
Olivia was our waitress and she was excellent. We did have a lady who I don’t believe was the host (because she’s an older lady who is always very nice) but she did bring us to our seat and to me wasn’t friendly. She had some sort of accent but I’m not sure from where and she was a little on the y’all side. She argued about how many people could fit in a both and if my daughter could fit a high chair to the table. We’ve been there a million times with the same amount of people and knew everyone would fit but she insisted on basically arguing with me. She was the only bad thing about our night which was my husband and brother in laws birthday. Olivia made up for it. She was super sweet and attentive and our food was hot and didn’t take long at all. I’m going to request her every time we come!
Great server & delishish food. This is one of our family’s favorite restaurant. I often dine out with my friends here as well.
The food was delish, hot, & fresh. My alcohol beverage was a delight.
Brought my mother here for a Mother's Day meal where she could get her belly full. She enjoyed herself and was happy that she did. I am from downtown Charleston and it is sad to see that this business will not expand to other areas of the lowcountry. I would do more business with TGI Friday's if they were nearby in our area.
There was a group of 9, they don't move tables, they have no large tables. So not good for groups. Food and waitress were excellent.
However we did have to ask that they remove stacks of dirty dishes from the table.
It was great even when I open table TGiF I ran late it was great with communication. Host was great remembered my call when I came in , the game was on it was nice on a Saturday night!! #most local restaurants like tgif you can't open table# A+y'all
Food was good except for one of the appetizers was over done. Service however was not great. Hopefully our waitress was new or having a bad night. May cause us to look elsewhere in the future if it becomes an every visit occurrence.
We had, hands-down, the best experience because of our server. He was the best we've ever had. Troy is absolutely wonderful, and we will definitely be requesting his section for every visit!!!!!
The food wasn't hot upon delivery but the server was still great
My wife had a salmon salad which she said was very good. I had the southwest chicken salad. The chicken tasted like cardboard, like it was made days ago and left to dry. We had our 2 grandkids and it took 35 minutes to bring our dinners. By then, as you would expect, the kids were stirring. The place was less than half full so surprised on the time to get 2 salads.
Great experience! The food was delicious! The server was very high energy and on point! My favorite TGI Friday experience ☺☺
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Just wish we had a server who was more attentive. As we sat through our meal with no water as requested with our cocktails.
