TGI FRIDAYS - Moline
Food was good, drinks were great, service was great. There was 6 of us ,we were celebrating mother's day,on mother's day. We had fun our table was at the bar we had requested.
The place was noisy and slow. The food was ok . We had reservations but it took 20 mins just to be brought to a table. The service was terrible for the price.
Our food took over an hour and wasn’t good. The waitress wasn’t very nice either
Myself and everyone at my table will not be returning. We had a table reserved and waited 20 minutes after reserve time (we did show up 15 minutes earlier then waited almost 40 minutes for a table). What's the point of reserving? This was followed by the longest wait for food. Not just for our table but the other 6 tables near us. We almost started chanting "where's the food" AN HOUR WAIT AFTER ordering is ridiculous. Then the food tasted like... well I will just say it wasn't worth the wait or having to show up late to the game. A close table walked out so they wouldn't miss the hockey game. Horrible
Thanks for asking my thoughts because it was awful and now my computer knows it too.
Arrived 15 min before reservation and was told could NOT park in lot as saving for hotel guests.
Took 20 min to find spot was 4 min after our reservation.
Was told 5th in line for reservation.
Unfortunately if wait another 20 or 30 min for table then order and eat we would have missed part of concert.
Let guests know ahead of time no parking available as we could have been earlier then we were.
Made a reservation on Open Table and they wouldn't honor it when we arrived and said we would have to wait up to 3 hours because of a concert and they had suddenly gotten busy. On top of that, we had already paid $10 to park in their lot. Won't ever go there again. It's not like a concert is a new thing for them. Figure it out Moline TGI Friday's (which I love this chain, just not this location). You made soooooooo many people angry last Saturday night, including me and my guests.
I made reservations for 6:00 at the bar before the concert started. When we arrived at 6 we we're told it would be one to three hours. What????
Despite a reservation, they were going to put us on a two hour wait after everyone who had previously arrived to the restaurant. Very disappointing- don’t go here
We had a 5:45 reservation. We were told it would be at least a hour. Thought we would go to the bar, tried for 20 minutes to get a drink. We left. I felt sorry for the staff. They were put in an impossible situation. If the management cares so little for their staff and customers, it is not worth going.
The restaurant itself was fine. Service was as good as it could be under the circumstances. (very busy) The issue I had was that when you make a reservation and arrive only to be told that there will be a 45 min. to one hour wait something is very wrong. I do understand that the location is next to an arena that had an event that evening, but that is why I made a reservation. When I make a reservation and arrive on time for that reservation I think that I should get a table. Once again that is why I made a reservation.
Meal before a concert. We arrived early, around 4 pm. When we left, there was a three hour wait list. We both order steak. Both steaks were difficult to cut. Potatoes were were mashed, nothing on them. Side of broccoli. We ate about half of everything. It was not the best dinner. Server was great. But food was substandard.
Waitress was great- food was terrible- ordered the 6oz steak w shrimp
Shirmp was good but soggy
Steamed broccoli had a sour taste
Mashed potatoes were barely warm
Steak omg was a nasty brown color- ordered med rare & it was cooked med dare but the steak had to been old bc ive nvr seen a brown steak- it was so tuff I could barely cut into it.. Sasnt worth the 70$ could've went to Village Inn for a better meal..
All taken in waitress was amazing but food was so bad I will take my sweet time to go back w/o some sort of bribe or free meal.
It was nice the food was less than expected
We went there at 6pm on a Saturday. I reserved a table prior to going and we were able to get right in. We sat down and ordered drinks. It took them close to a half hour before we got our first drinks , and one of them was wrong. My girlfriend just drank the drink though, because we didn't want to wait another half an hour for another drink. We then ordered our food and I ordered another drink. The food did not come until we were there an hour (7pm). My plate came out first around 650 and then we waited another ten minutes for my girlfriends food. My second drink never came. I asked for my bill at an hour and ten minutes.(710) She brought the bill out a minute later and the she tried to charge me $8 for a drink I never received. I sent it back to her and said I don't want the drink anymore and I will not pay for it. She took the drink off the ticket. We didn't leave until 7:15. IT took us so long to get food and drinks and the bill that we were late to our event. I won't be going there again until reparations have been made.
Open table doesn't work so well, we made the reservation around 11:00 after trying to call the restaurant multiple times and no one would answer. The recording stated use open table, so I did. I received a confirmation for a reservation at 11:45. When we arrived we were told there was no reservation. I explained that we used open table and was told very rudely that we did not have a reservation.
The restaurant was completely empty. They did set up a table for us relatively quickly, but were incredibly rude about it, which took me back as there were less then 20 customers at lunch time during the week. I would have thought they would have been thrilled to have 11 more customers!
If it had been busy we would not have been seated as apparently even though I received a confirmation they did not receive the reservations, or so they claimed.
Maybe the worse dining experience I’ve ever had strictly due to the service. Food was very good, especially the boneless wings in JD sauce. However, right from the start we waited, and waited. The place was not that busy. We were in no hurry, but it got to the point that we were laughing because of how long it took to get a waitress. Even after we asked a bus girl to please send us a waitress. But my laughter turned to downright embarrassment for suggesting TGIF. Things never got better. Once we finally received our food, we were not once checked on or asked for beverage refills. Couldn’t get our bill, couldn’t get to go containers.
Food was very good but service was so bad, I doubt I will ever go back. Bill was around $100 and i think I left a 12 or 14$ tip but i seriously should not have left a dime.
It was to noicy and my boyfriend and I were sat in an area where there was a lot of big groups and it was really loud. They had a ton of bar side seats available along with other parties of 2. I was unhappy with the location we were sat at and it seemed our waitress had forgot about us alot through out the night.
Always great ribs at Friday's! Great waiter! Great quality and quantity for the price!
Love the ribs. I came in this time for my birthday with my family. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The waiter was right on the ball from our drinks throughout our meals and when we left.
The service that night was subpar. We had to flag down our waitress on multiple occasions. We put our food order in and after 37 minutes of waiting I found a manager to let him know, he said he’d check on it and let us know which he did food came out about 5 minutes later. At that point we asked the waitress and manager to get us our check because we needed to get going right after we ate as we had a concert to get to. We finished eating our food which was a group of 14 before our checks even arrived, we had to wait around about another 5-10 after everyone was done eating before we received our checks. The waitress and manager never came to check to see how things were even after the complaint about how long our food was taking. It ended up being a total of 1hr 40minute dinner that evening, and we couldn’t believe that the manager never followed up with us after we received our food knowing the issue. We may never go back things were that disorganized.
We like the food. Items need to be brought back to the menu that have been taken off in the last year or so. Most wait staff are good but some are slow and don’t pay attention or check back often enough
We had an awesome dinner, food was yummy, as usual! Our server, Gage, was very attentive and made us feel welcome and comfortable! Always recommend TGIF!
Sat in a booth in bar area. The bartender/waiter was absolutely great!!! Very entertaining, informative, knowledgeable, helpful, on top of everything! We will ask to sit in his area next time!
We ordered 4 plates of chicken wings, first 3 meat was not at all good. Surprisingly the fourth one was so tender. When asked the waitress there was no proper explanation. That same night every one who had the wings, their stomach was upset.
Service is really good though.
Good food and great service. There was a waitress training but she did great.
Wish they would bring back the mahi mahi and the whiskey sauce cake and vanilla bean cheesecake. Those were our family favorites. And add a more kid friendly veggie like carrots or green beans.
Would not honor reservation made thru open table. Service was somewhat slow.
Excellent staff and service! Food was amazing! It was an event night in town and we came early and didn't feel rushed as we made the reservation because it was close to the event center. The staff was very accommodating and pleasurable and boy that placed filled up fast the closer to the evening event pre time arrived. Kudos to the staff and their super service! :)
The new desserts are awesome. Had the Donuts and coffee cheesecake
We had online reservations and when we got to TGIF's there was a note on the door saying they were closed. No advance notice for the people that made online reservations that they were going to close I had to make a trip down.
Had to wait 45 minutes for a table; we were told that they do not get notification of same day reservations (made reservation 2.5 hrs ahead). Then had to wait 30 minutes to order
The free chips and salsa was nice bonus for being a rewards member. We were able to have a table by the window so we could see the river. Jack Daniels chicken is my favorite.
When our group arrived I was told they don't accept reservations on "event nights" I told them I had made a reservation online. They immediately seated our group. The food was OK but not outstanding. Noise level was horrible. hard to have a conversation with people at our table.
On a very busy night, staff was most accommodating in seating our party without delay and finding seating with less noise but with a great view if the river. Service was excellent and a joy to our party (Charles).
My date and I had the Chicken and Cheese and the Chicken and Shrimp, the Chicken was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend!
The hostess had no idea they took online reservations. She said they never see them. Luckily there was not much of a wait and we got a table right away.
They did not honor this reservation, said they no longer use this service for reservations.
Concert night - reservation was pretty much non-existent- mostly blame on manager. Huge cluster
Sierra was very nice and attentive. I love sitting outside with view of the river. I had the half bruschetta chicken pasta.
I had the Jack Daniels chicken which is my favorite dish. Hollie was good and very attentive.
