TGI FRIDAYS - Melbourne

It was Christmas Eve and they were short staffed, but you would never have know it because the manager was great and was right in there helping. The waiters there were exceptional and went over and beyond what they were supposed have done. We had a wonderful young and energetic waiter named Ronnie and he made us feel right at home with superior service. Everyone had the Christmas Spirit even though they were working late on Christmas Eve. A memorable and joyful experience.

Warning: They do not honor reservations made on OpenTable. So it took them 20 minutes to seat us. Food took forever to arrive and one person never got their food. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.

They took an hour to bring our food. Then they forgot 1 of my guest’s entire meal. They also forgot the side orders that came with the meals. When they finally brought out the food, my French fries were stale, hard, and disgusting. They brought me more fries 30 minutes later. The slushes were sweet when they should have been sour. The bill was not worth the food.

Pleasant enough atmosphere but the service was very slow especially considering it was not very crowded. Biggest disappointment, the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. Chicken was flavorful though. Hamburgers others had were said to be good.

TGIF is consistent but nothing overly special . . . was surprised there were not many healthy options on the menu if you don't like salad. And the menu format of putting the calories next to every item really drove that home - kinda made everyone not want to order anything. Most items were a whole days calories in one item. . . .And I get it - why go there if we wanted healthy? Because we were going for variety for our large party and figured most restaurants have something healthy on the menu - even TGIF used to have shrimp or chicken skewers with a side of broccoli. . .

This is a GREAT restaurant . The food , service and of course the price is GOOD . Go ans see for your self..

This was the worst service we have ever had at a TGI Fridays! It took over an hour to get our food and they weren't busy. The music was WAY too loud. The ribs were over cooked, not "fall off the bone" as advertised. The waitress did a poor job of managing the table, keeping drinks filled and bringing requested items. We will never eat at this location again.

Everything was very good. The food was good, but nothing really special. I was there fairly early, so the noise level was zero. I’m quite sure that, like with all TGI Friday restaurants, the time of day is a big factor in this point.

I was supposed to make ribs for my grandchildren who were visiting us - they are 11 and 13. When I opened my ribs, the meat was bad so we had to go out! TGIF has some really good ribs so were brought them there. The 13 yr old devoured his duo order of ribs and salmon! Loved it. I had ribs and chicken. My husband had a salad and granddaughter wasn't hungry so had mashed potatoes and some of my meal. The waiters are always attentive and give great service. We will be back

Loved the food and we had a amazing server. Very delicious and bill was less then many other nice places we have gone. Will go again for sure and much more often.

The only place our group of 9 could get last minute reservations on Valentine's Day. The server was friendly and the menu is predictable. They had a good menu deal on "pick two" entrees.

We made a reservation that was not honored. Several people without reservations were seated before we were. We were not even given a decent spot after waiting for more than 15 minutes (and we were on time for the reservation). The server took over 10 minutes to come to the table and she was in a panic state of mind - acting very stressed. The place was not very busy, so we could not understand why she seemed stressed. The chicken I finally got was very overcooked and dry, but I was so hungry by the time we received our food, that I did not voice my disappointment. The waitress also overcharged us, and we had to wait over 15 minutes for the bill to be corrected. We left feeling cheated and disappointed.

This was the worst Fridays that I have ever experienced. Never made got to taste the food because the staff was so terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention it was a maze trying to get in the parking lot

We had not been to TGIF's in a while and decided to go back because I didn't want to cook. We both had salads and they were good! Alexa was a very attentive server!

This place have improve a lot this last past year. The service was pretty bad before but now it's much better. Our last experiences have been pretty good, even right after Irma they were doing their best to satisfy their customer. Good job keep it up.

T.G.I. Friday's is same everywhere when it's about the food, so pretty good food and always have some good deal going on specially when you signed up with them. But this location is very bad for the service. Went 3 times and always had a poor service. It looks like they don't have enough staff. It's very hard to catch your waiter and wait forever. So if you are not looking for angriest service it's a good place to go to have some quick lunch or dinner.
